The only thing is they do not take reservations, but you can sign onto the waitlist which they only hold for 10 minutes after they confirm a table and all members of your party must be in attendance for the table to be secured. This year January freezing cold, me and my friend went to lunch. servant put us to counter table next to the door with heavy coat and gifts, even thought there were at least 4 tables available. This time I visited Yutaka Ramen with my parents and ordered the fried smelt, but I was served fries instead. When I politely pointed out the mistake, the server insisted that I had ordered fries and made it seem like it was my fault. Eventually, she said in an arrogant tone that she would give me the fries for free, but she later took the fries away from my table, and no one apologized for the mistake. What disappointed me the most was not the wrong order, but the attitude. Mistakes happen, but blaming the customer, refusing to acknowledge the error, and failing to offer a simple apology is unacceptable. My parents witnessed the whole interaction, and it was embarrassing and frustrating. Poor customer service and lack of professionalism.

While I'm there, another person walked in and they offered them a table in the seating area. I'm at the Ramen bar, the chefs are stuffing their face-Instead of using a designated area out of sight of customers. I tried to make conversation so they would get a clue-Nada. That was my 4th & last time. I honestly should've left upon arrival but tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. It got worse & my entire meal was rushed. I tried to bypass the lack of Hospitality from previous visits, and even recommended the place to some of my peers and their recent feedback + feeling rushed, was similar to mine. Tonkotsu ramen (5/5): Pro move: ask for the thicker noodles (pic is original dish of thin noodles) This was a superb bowl of ramen! The broth is very umami with tons of depth, flavors, and creaminess. Noodles are the straight kind which has a little less bounce than I usually like but still plenty portioned to enjoy. The bowl comes with a lovely half soft boiled egg. The two large pieces of pork char sui were great--tender and flavorful. Reasonably priced bowl at $18 with some additional toppings like wood ear mushrooms, bamboo, green onions, and narutomaki. Definitely coming back here again to try their other bowls!! Pork belly buns (5/5): If you are already getting the pork belly in the ramen, this can be skipped since it's the same meat. However, the sauce was good and the meat is tender. Crab croquette (4/5): It tasted fresh and consistency of a normal croquette-- crunchy on the outside with a softness from potato on the inside. The light panko seasoning was a nice touch. It also comes with a small side of salad. Wagyu (5/5) - thin pieces of wagyu were very fresh and flavorful. The broth feels very soothing and lighter as it was but not as rich as the tonkotsu. I loved the pickled cucumber and cabbage. The thick noodles are perfectly bouncy and chewy. Shoyu Duck (4/5) - Light broth as I did not taste the undertones of duck in the broth.
