This place is small but cozy at the same time. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We ordered the Godzilla, Salmon Nigiri and Takoyaki. Everything was delicious. The salmon Nigiri was actually amazing. The salmon was so fresh and had a nice flavor. It was the best nigiri I ever had. The rice was nice. The Godzilla was very good. The Takoyaki delicious. Highly recommend this place. I will definitely be going back.

Stopped in for pad Thai to go and was immediately greeted! They even let me change my order from chicken to shrimp! I think for the size and taste this is some great pad Thai!! It wasn't too sweet either, all it needed was a little spice which I added at home! The restaurant was unassuming, cute and clean and I really enjoyed the ambiance! The hostess was super kind! Will be back to dine in!

We've ordered from here a few times and have gotten the beef basil stirfry and an assortment of sashimi. The stirfry was a bit bland so each time I had to add soy sauce, oyster sauce and fish sauce along with red thai chilis. As for the sashimi, I know it isn't ideal to do take out but sometimes you just don't want to put pants on. The flavor and freshness was fine but didn't wow me, but given it was take out, it was fine, but the portions are huge so definitely a good price. Next time I think we'll try dine in and stick with just the sushi.

Poor experience overall. When I asked for menu recommendations, they weren't able to suggest anything, and the waitress had a bad attitude. The food was okay, but honestly I don't think I'll be coming back because of the service

My family and I checked out this new ramen spot, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. I ordered the spicy garlic miso ramen--flavor-wise, it was okay but didn't quite hit the mark for me. Not bad, just not my personal favorite. That said, the rest of my family really enjoyed their meals, so it seems like a solid pick for different tastes. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but it's cozy and works well for smaller group settings. We were seated comfortably and didn't feel rushed. The highlight came at the end of our meal--they surprised us with mochi ice creams on the house! A really kind gesture that left a sweet final impression.

Food: 9/10 This is one of my go-to restaurants after going to church. The restaurant is VERY SMALL, it only has about 5-6 tables inside that can each seat around 2-4 people. So if you have a big group, you should make a reservation. The salmon teriyaki portion was big, and came with tempura and salad. The chicken teriyaki was the same as the salmon teriyaki, both were sweet and savory. The curry fried rice was actually a bit spicy, it is Thai based. The ramen was ok, needs more flavor. But, the tempura udon had a great broth and the tempura added a nice crunch to it. The sushi was great, the unagi rolls were my favorite! Service: 9/10 The food takes about 15-20 minutes to arrive. We had to wait to be seated for about 10-20 minutes because there wasn't enough seats. But the staff were kind and took the time to relate to us because of our shared "asianess." Ambiance: 8/10 I love the Japanese decor, but it quite dark in here.

One of my all time favorite places, never a bad meal! Always fresh, fantastic service, and make sure you order extra because you will want leftovers for the next day!! I have been coming here since it opened, love this place!!

Small and busy shop with not too many tables, but with great service and delicious food. I got the spicy garlic ramen and a Thai iced coffee and both were perfect. I'll definitely have to come back because the sushi that everyone around me was ordering looked really good!

Unassuming location with quality sushi! Dark ambiance and attentive waiters, fresh fish and good fish to rice ratios. Only a couple tables here, but it was busy 9:30 pm on a Monday! Very affordable- I'll be back for a bite :)

The place has a really great ambience. It's not too big, which is nice but could be a problem if you get here during busy times. I sat at the sushi bar and was able to observe the sushi chefs and take in the experience more fully. I got Tonkontsu Ramen with pork belly, which is always my go to in a Ramen place like this. Loved it. The right blend of flavors and consistency. Not too heavy either. We also had Miso and Teriyaki Chicken and spicy Ramen as well. We'll be back.

Their spicy coconut curry is by far my favorite! Such a tasty restaurant where everything truly is so delicious! The restaurant is small so the server is continually filling drinks and very attentive. The restaurant has beautiful murals, and is kept clean; although it's a mall. Best for smaller parties of 2-4. Or do take out! I think the pricing is really fair and for the location, I am impressed that such good Asian food is offered in this area! Definitely worth it! I'm hooked!

This place is a great hidden gem. There isn't much around this area for good sushi and ramen and I'm happy to have found them today. The food here was amazing. I ordered the Tekka and crunch spicy tuna and they were perfect. The fish was fresh and the rice was a nice portion. Some places are very skimpy with the rice and this place wasn't. These were the biggest rolls I have ever had. I also ordered the Tonkotsu ramen and it was great as well. They pickled eggs which was a great touch. Most places just drop a soft boiled egg in and call it a day. They have a lunch special that $13 for 2 rolls and it was another $14 for the ramen. WORTH EVERY PENNY! The service here was great. The place is small so there is only 1 superstar here. She was amazing and payed attention to everyone in the restaurant. She was patient and very fast. Made sure everyone had drinks and even took a few photos for other people. It's a great place for a date night in my opinion. Give it a shot. If you don't fall in love with your date... you will with the food.

Indeed, this spot did not let me down! It is a small Thai restaurant in West Loop, with a large menu featuring monthly specials and quite a few dishes I rarely find in other Thai restaurants in U.S. For food, we ordered the following: 1. Khao Ka Moo: a stewed pork hock platter served with rice, pickled mustard greens, shitake mushrooms, sauce (similar to soy-sauce) and egg (which I opted out). It was my first time to have pork hock in a Thai restaurant. The meat was juicy and the skin was mouth-melting. Highly recommended. 2. JJ Tiger Cry: Basically grilled ribeye served with Thai style sides. The ribeye was cooked at ~medium well. I wish it could be a fattier cut and cooked for a shorter time, but my friend thought the temp. was perfect for her. It was served with a Thai sauce and cabbage+carrot slaw. 3. Green Curry Chicken: my sister's entree. The curry tasted refreshing and flavorful. It was also great that the dish came with both rice noodles and jasmine rice, so you can try both of them -- indeed, the rice noodles, after soaking it in the green curry, tasted heavenly! 4. Yum Hed. Grilled mushroom salad. There were shitake and king oyster mushroom. Served over a bed of fresh lettuce and a kind of spciy, sour sauce. Great as a side. 5. Guay Tiew Tom Tum Koong: Shrimp and rice noodles served in a generous bowl of Tom Yum Soup. It also had much veg. Unfortunately, I am allergic to some seafood so for safety I did not try this dish. Overall, the dishes are of medium sizes, but definitely enough for us. Service was friendly and quick. I may try more dishes the next time I visit Chicago.

The food was completely underwhelming, and when we shared our concerns with the staff, nothing was done to address them. The service was equally disappointing. Our server spent much of the time sitting on her phone while we waited for basic service like water refills, being asked about drinks, and receiving the drinks we ordered. We repeatedly had to get up and find someone just to receive attention. As for the food, the gyoza was bland and tasted like unseasoned pork. The lemongrass beef stew curry, which was highly recommended, arrived cold, had an odd texture, and lacked any real flavor. Most shocking of all were the drunken noodles. I've ordered them countless times over the years and always considered them among the best in Chicago. This time, I couldn't get past a single bite. Every dish was left unfinished. We didn't finish a single plate and didn't take any leftovers home--something that never happens for us. Between the poor service and incredibly disappointing food, this was an awful dining experience from start to finish. Unfortunately, after being a longtime customer, I won't be returning.

Cuisine: 4 stars - We ordered Basil Rice, to share. The flavor was different than what I have been served elsewhere. More sour than sweet. I think a better balance between sour and sweet would be better. Also, elsewhere, the rice and ground chicken are served tossed together. Here, the rice and chicken arrive on separate plates. It's difficult to mix sticky rice and chicken on a flat place. Nevertheless, the meal was completely acceptable; just a bit different. Service: 4 stars - The server was polite and friendly. Ambiance: 4 stars - We dined outside, but the interior looks nice. It's really nice to find a Thai restaurant with outdoor seating.
