After realizing my heater was out for who know how long with the first sub 50 degree evening I searched for a space heater in my storage with no success. We were previously told by another HVAC company we needed to repair or replace the coils, condenser, a valve and we were very low on refrigerant in our AC. I was referred to Matt by a reliable guy and he was 100% correct about him being the right man for the job. When he got to my place he gave me several options for installing a thermostat and doing a tune-up. One wired at around $285 and another wireless at around $385. I didn't want to bother with any painting, so I chose the wireless option. Matt was upfront and honest about the pricing and showed me the different units prices online. Before he arrived at my house, he gave me a 30 minute heads up and was within the scheduled window he gave me. Within about an hour, Matt noticed that I had a bit of a problem and showed me my furnace blower fan that had become clogged with pet hair and debris. It was a mess in there. He explained that it would charge an extra $200 to take the motor out and do a thorough cleaning at my option. At first I was hesitant and thought it was a pretty high price, but I went out to withdraw the cash anyways. When I got back, Matt realized that it was an unexpected charge and that I was a little worried about my budget. What would have been a total of $585, Matt brought down to $500 and showed me the work he did demonstrating that he wasn't trying to overcharge me. He sealed my furnace up better than it was before and it was clean as a whistle inside. On top of all of that, Matt told me that if I needed anything adjusted in the near future, like an earthquake strap potentially, or possibly metal flooring inside the unit, that he would come out and do it at no charge. Man, when your AC goes out when summer starts you start to panic, HARD. Matt answered the call FAST. He had someone out to us within a day, the whole process to replace a part took about 1 hour and the process was clean, prompt, and polite. AC Repair and Replacement - *** A Very Honest Company!!! *** I had received a quote from one of those speedy national companies to repair my AC. The AC company said the AC was beyond repair. The quote was ** $11,600 ** to replace the AC and the furnace in a condominium. My brother recommeneded I call Krazen. Krazen was really busy during the last heat wave, but Krazen said $11.5k was too much money to pay and Krazen would do it for half the price. Krazen came to my house authorized for $6000.
