We been going to this salon. To cut my families hair. My husband and my 3 boys. Today is very disappointing to go to this salon. First we arrived the same as the hairdresser her name is Lucy. We fill discrimination because. We came first and there is another person just came with no appointment as well but l Lucy prepared to cut his hair first and she told us to wait for the Male hairdresser. Which is very ridiculous. She said that the hairdresser is coming at 11am. Good thing that one of the male hairdresser comes and right away he cut my son hair. It's very unprofessional for Lucy to treat us like unattended. Hope the owner can do something about this complaint. read more

Came in for a haircut. Everything went fine in the beginning... The woman asked me how I wanted it cut. I wasn't too picky and just wanted it a bit shorter ,etc. But then she began cutting and seemed like she was almost done so she began talking to her friend and everything went wrong. She got so careless and absent when cutting my hair. First I took out my phone and she got hair all over it .. which was ok. It's a haircut I thought... Like why apologize for that...But then she started to curl my hair and was brushing so hard that my glasses fell off. Still no regard with what was happening to me since she was talking to her friend. But after she was curling my hair and heating it she had the dryer pointed directly to my temple and burned my head. Obviously, in response I flinched and said "ow" and she still did not give a crap. Thankfully it ended shortly after that. This place has good reviews so I took a chance here... But I definitely won't be back. read more

I've been following Lien for over 10+ years now she worked down the street at Princess Nail here on Grand Avenue, and now has her own area here at this Salon. She's such an amazing sweet lady. She's an expert at taking out in grown! Not a lot of nail salons have the right people that can actually do this procedure correctly I've struggled to find anyone Like Lien!!! Review for Nail technician Lien: I have been seeing Lien for over 10 years now, but recently she moved her services to this salon. She does the best pedicures, she is very thorough and has your feet and toes looking amazing! She also does excellent acrylics, I am VERY picky with my nails, and I like to mix it up (very long to short and natural) and she has never failed to meet my picky expectations. One of my friends referred Maribel and I thought it will be the best hairdresser since someone I knew knows her. I asked her about hair extensions and she said I had to provide my own so I went in person to show her some options to make sure I choose the ones that not only will look better on my color but also the ones that will give her less trouble (me thinking on making her job easy). She was irritated with that simple question responded in a very rude way. I mean if you are a hairdresser the least you can do is to know the name of a hair tone. But also, I do not understand why someone gets mad for having clients when her place was empty. I am sorry I wanted to support your business I definitely will find someone else. Good luck! I don't normally write reviews but my experience was horrible to say the least. Stay away from this place if you want a professional. I had the worse experience. Maribel is a little rude. At the first sign I should have just walked out but I wanted to give her a chance. I came in with a picture of what I wanted and left 5 hours later with a bad haircut and BAD highlights, horrible! Maribel over books her appointments. She left me waiting over 30 minutes with wet hair on the chair because she was busy cutting a gentleman's hair. I was furious and cold! She had her assistant wash and cut my hair. The young lady doesn't know what she is doing. After my wash she untangle my hair in a rush. I can't even explain it. I had to close my eyes because I cut hear and see my hair breaking. My hair had just been bleached so of course it would be hard to untangle. She would just grab a chunk of hair and roughly try to comb through, it was horrible! Maribel told her to cut my hair and I was hesitant. The young lady proceeded to cut my hair and was done within 5 minutes because she was rushing to leave. So she left me with wet hair waiting for Maribel to blow dry my hair. Maribel left me waiting more than 30min with wet hair while she was busy cutting a gentleman's hair. When Maribel finally came to blow dry my hair I asked her to fix my haircut. She did try to fix my hair cut and she tried to be nice. I just wanted to get out of there. NEVER AGAIN WILL I TRY THIS PLACE!!! Pay the money and go to a professional! That's my advice. read more

I came in without really knowing what I wanted. I have gone before a few times and was glad with the results, this was simply just for updos for special occasions. I had never gotten a haircut here. Yesterday, I looked through a few outdated magazines (could have asked for a haircut found on your phone) but i wanted to find one similar to my preferences in the catalog. I ended up finding a really pretty one with layers. I described to Maribel what I wanted "A trim but still leaving my hair long and layers" as she went on with the haircut she asked me other questions and gave me tips on how it would look better. I don't know much about hairstyling but i trusted her advice and went for it. She also offered us coffee as she has a coffee station in the back. Overall, very good customer service:) read more

My 10 y/o son is growing his hair long and the hairline on his neck needed to be trimmed, to let the front and top catch up. We came at the time that was available but our stylist spent more time helping walk-ins to purchase products and talking on the phone than she spent with us (while we were in her chair.) We were given "side eye" for not being fluent Spanish speakers, fine, I can take it but my son was embarrassed and felt ashamed. The stylist used a water bottle to dampen his hair in the back for a trim, which took forever b/c of the shopper who didn't know what she wanted and the stylist repeatedly being on and off the phone. The littles are not known for their patience and ability to sit still & we were at the point where any adult would have considered cutting his loses and getting out of there. At one point our stylist was standing, watching a walk-in customer browse the display case (just standing, watching, WAITING, not even answering questions or offering info) and in her boredom CLEANED her extremely long, red, bejeweled nails with a blade of the scissors that she was using to cut my son's hair. She did not rinse or change scissors in between, just kept going. She chopped a big LOP off the top before i could say anything, then had to even it out so the kid lost more hair than be wanted too. I played it off like: "it's OK it all has to be blended so it will grow out nice." He didn't fully buy it and he kept his head way down, all the way out the door and to the car. The whole thing should have taken 5-10 minutes but the repeat interruptions made it take about 30. There was no shampoo, no blow dry, no stying, and no products used. The man who sets the prices barked at us on the way to pay, "That's $30!" I looked at him and said, "That's too much." But of course I paid and tipped the stylist because I'm not a jerk. But it was a terrible experience. Such a shame, they're só close to my house and they easily could have pleased a 10 y/o with minimal effort. Maybe the employees were fighting among themselves and taking their frustration out on their customers? Maybe they wanted to make sure people who aren't fluent Spanish speakers don't come back? Kbellos gets one star b/c no body died. read more

I really like this place! Maribel is super friendly, and she would try to accommodate you even if you don't have an appointment. I've been here for hair cuts, and treatments. It's always clean which is something extremely important to me. It's better to make an appointment since they seem to be quite busy specially during the weekends. read more

Absolutely horrible, do not go! I asked for blonde and my hair is still brown. products are terrible and cheap and they do not work. I've been dyeing my hair blonde and highlighting for 15 years and never had such a terrible experience.
