I called earlier asking about diagnostics. They told me it'll be $90. I called later asking if I could make an appointment for tomorrow at 8 AM, but they told me Monday would be better just in case they need to order parts for the car. All I wanted was just a diagnostic. The guy on the phone was incredibly rude and I'm pretty sure they wanted to scam by up charging the charges. Took my 2015 rdx to get smogged, at first it didn't pass, fidel told me to just drive it around for a couple minutes to reset the system and sure enough it passed. He did everything quick and easy. I talked to some clown named Fidel about bringing my Escalade cause the battery would get drained overnight. He said I could leave my car there with him n he'll figure out what the problems were. A day later he said he found the problems which was a short in one of the fuses in my radio and another in the seat heater. I asked if he would be able to fix it and he said yes to just give him a couple days. I go to pick up my car and he begins to tell me I have to take the fuses for the radio and seat every time I'm done driving, I asked him "so what did you fix" he then began to tell me he can't fix it n I need to buy a complete new radio and that the seat can't be fixed. To make matters worse he fucked up my car more the driver seat wouldn't move forward or backward the meters on the dash weren't working and the right side passenger window wouldn't go down. He charged me $380 dollars for all this bullshit. It's so hard to understand him too the dude barely speaks English and doesn't know what he's talking about. Avoid like the plague. Dishonest shop, I've never had such a terrible experience anywhere else. Aside from the fact the mechanic lied multiple times and charged a deductible up front without even inspecting the car which is not legal. I come to do smog, he wasn't there his wife was there she was nice and kind, I was waiting for him 25 minuets, when he come I explain him I want to do smog check but first I want him to connect the scanner to see if my car is ready, and if she's ready I'll do the smog with hime, He was rude and not polite and kick me from there saying go other place, or pay 20$ on 1 minuet check. I had an oil change with synthetic oil. It cost me around $65. It was very quick service on a Friday, most of the places were super busy in the morning, but I was able to get in and out in a very reasonable time maybe like 15-20 mins. The employee I worked with was very kind. No complaints, pretty basic place, really small mom and pop business, just a couple of chairs to sit on around the garage while the work was done. read more

I prefer mom & pop spots, the money spent at them tends to stay in the neighborhood & they provide employment to people in the neighborhood. Plus the owners are typically not hard to find & there's just something more comforting talking to someone who's livelihood is at stake. This spot was recommended to me by a coworker and I have since then recommended them to my sister n law, dad, & sister. I'm getting some brake pads right now actually. This spot is open until 7 if you need them that late, will give you a ride to where you need to be, and won't "create" repairs that you weren't aware of and don't need. There isn't really a waiting room, but there are lots of other small shops on that street where you can have breakfast/lunch, and a park within walking distance in case you need to walk off some calories (which you probably do). read more

I needed to replace the turbo on my 2014 Cruze. Fidel was able to do it quickly and at a decent price. I was very happy with the results, but after a few months it went out again. No engine light, nothing other than a slight drip of oil on the chasis of the car. Fidel did a thorough inspection, showing the detail of his observations. He found the fault and since the turbo was still under warranty, he replaced it no charge. I will take my truck to him next, it is great to work with someone trustworthy like Fidel. read more

Truly amazing mechanic. Honest, fair prices. I originally brought my vehicle to Firestone to get repaired and they quoted me $3,000 to replace all fuel injectors. They stated that was causing my misfire. When I took my car to Fidel, he found it wasn't even that. It was just dirty spark plugs and wires. He replaced thoses, changed the oil, flushed the radiator, replaced the serpentine belt tensioner, replaced a caliper, and e brake all for $1,000. He is friendly and trustworthy. Fidel the owner lied to me that he fix my truck and over charged me $320.00 on something electrical that was on my bill that cost $225.00 I ask Fidel to show me what he fix , but didn't and made sure that the truck my 2000 Ford Expedition is fix and trust his work and $95.00 was labor on replacing the starter that he exchange with my receipt where I bought it ,which he didn't give back to me because the place he went to didn't give it back and waiting for the owner to come back to work, I drove home and later on I was going to the store and my truck didn't start ,so I called Fidel told him my truck wasn't working and he was sending a guy the next morning ,but no show ,so I called Fidel and he told me in the afternoon , this guy showed up and I showed him the bill on what they fix and didn't know how to make my truck start and blame it on something else that there water mixed with oil in my engine and all ready had an estimate around $1500 to fix and to call for a tow truck to take it back to the shop to start working on it. Bait and switch scam . I ask Fidel to send himself that worked on my truck that he knew what something electrical that he fix, but he gave me difficult time and WARNING to all that this man is not TRUSTED on his Work on what he puts on the bill receipt on what he fix or replace a auto part . July 10 2019 I took my truck and still waiting on Fidel to fix my truck or give me back my money that he did nothing to fix my truck to work.
