Found out about this location after visiting their sister location in Anaheim the other day. Stopped by before work to pick up some donuts for the office. Make sure you come early for the most varieties. Everything tasted fresh, fluffy, and not overly sweet like some other places. I have been going here for about a 2 months+ now. I really need something in the morning to wake me up. I know there is coffee on the way to work but this place has the best coffee & doughnuts. This is a great place to get a donut and a coffee next to/behind the shopping center of Ralph's. The staff is always super nice and make the coffee just how you ask. Can you spell THE B O M B donuts!!?? These are melt in your mouth - good pieces of goodiness! Im so happy we live walking distance from this little gem . Not a huge fan of the new world 'put anything you can think of to make it instagram worthy - donuts' (you know the ones!).. to US... an amazing donut only needs glaze.. or some sprinkles. I usually like to do business with small business owners so that's why I have continued to use KD's Donuts however, I'm done with the rude customer service. My grandson wanted extra frosting on his cinnamon roll the man rolled his eyes at me turned the bag around and said look it has to it. I said I know he is asking for extra frosting. He was so put out by my request but took it to the back and dumped a crazy amount on top and charged me two dollars extra. I really hope this place stays around when Dunkin donuts opens. It's been around forever and for good reasons. The owner is super friendly and they have THE BEST blueberry donuts. I've gotten so many people hooked on them. Seriously, if you haven't tried them, you should! They also have good pastries. Their blueberry cream cheese Danish is pretty good as well if you're not a donut person. Yes, the place is small, but the quality is great. Let's just say if you want donuts don't come here. They will be out as always or very limited supply. Here now with both kids and a total of 7 donuts in the entire case. Watching the customers arrive only to walk into an empty donut case is literally sad. We grabbed 4 and felt bad as people were in line behind us. Also the owners are hit and miss. The guy is always nice and awesome, however the wife is always a bit short and rude. Watch out for the tip on the credit card reader. She preloads what she wants and I didn't catch it. KD's Donuts is a classic donut shop with all the traditional donut favorites. There's nothing fancy about this place, just solid donuts. I came here craving a rainbow sprinkled donut with chocolate and KD's did not disappoint. I washed my donut down with a bottle of milk from the fridge and was a happy man. The donuts here are awesome. I bring boxes of them to share with my friends and they are always asking me where I got these donuts from. When I let them know its a small family run shop near my house and not a big, famous shop or chain, they're really surprised! My favorites are the blueberry donut and regular glazed. Their ham and cheese croissants are also great! I just brought a box of blueberry donuts to a camping trip over the weekend and everyone told me they liked these ones better than M&M Donuts.. which is a big deal! The owners are friendly and quick. They make their donuts fresh so its possible that they don't have what you want available right when you come in, but in my experience, I've always been able to get atleast one of the kind that I wanted. read more

Showed up at 6 am to find empty racks, there where 4 choices of donuts which doesn't provide much in the way of variety for a dozen. The shop opens at 4 according to the sign, it definitely felt like I was rushing them as they where trying to make donuts for the day. If I walked in at 4 am I would understand there being a thin selection, at 6am I expect far more from a donut shop as any other shop has done before. I won't be revisiting this shop, there was nothing special about the 4 flavors that would make me give them a second chance. read more

The male Asian (possible owner) needs to understand the definition of customer service and his role as someone serving customers. I've visited the business twice once in the mid-morning and early morning hours (430). Both times I experienced substandard customer service. His donuts are great but customer service is REALLY BAD. He is rude, pushy and when asked to put muffins in a separate bag and not mix them with the dozen donuts he hands you the bag so you can place the muffin in the bag yourself. I like his donuts but I also like Duncan Donuts which is directly across the street...Might be changing shops... read more

Rude rude rude.. These people have no friendly bone in there body,.. They look tired and act grumpy! They don't say a word and have a sour look on their face! Asked for a croissant and two donuts for the family... and most donut stores throw in some donut holes in each bag, like 2 or 3..but not this place.. so when I asked for a few donut holes.. He gave me 6 and charged me .75 cents. What an ass!! So I left and then realized my croissant was hard as a rock so I came back in to ask them to heat it up for 20 seconds. ( a real donut store would ask u that before u leave) so I did and they act like I'm inconveniencing them!! Never going back to this store.
