If I could rate no stars I would. I purchased a 2023 Chevy Malibu 66k miles on 3/17/25. On 4/11 less than 30 days of having the vehicle the car shut off while driving. I called the sales representative who sold me the car, Cade, who told me to bring the car in. 4/12 I spend al day at the dealership only for them to say there is a recall on the vehicle and I need to take it to an actual Chevy dealership. No biggie. I call to make an appointment and over the phone I explain to the agent what happened she looked up the VIN and stated there was no recall on this vehicle. Now, since my car was working fine, and the check engine light was not on I did not go to the Chevy dealership because there was no recall. 6/3 the same thing happened so today 6/4 I went to a trusted shop and ran a diagnostic test where it showed everything was faulty but, my check engine light was not on. I called my sales rep, no answer. So I called Keaton Toyota where a rude and apathetic customer service rep in so many words stated it is no longer their problem. Take it to Chevy and hopefully my warranty covers the issues. The issue I have is this dealership needs to understand some people are spending their last for RELIABLE transportation and yall are selling LEMONS. Drove 3.5 hours to see a "certified" used truck the dealership sent me a video of and assured me was in great condition. The dealership chose to leave out the fact that the truck was a smoker's vehicle. Toyota's "certified" inspection process supposedly includes checking the interior for odors. I do not recommend this dealership and caution all to carefully inspect any "certified" used vehicles you are considering purchasing from them. read more

My daughter and I saw a 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited on Car Guru for $24,291. We drove an hour to test drive it. Once they began working on financing for my daughter and son, they determined that their credit wasn't the best so they raised the price on the vehicle on their site to over $26,550. My son had not arrived but said to begin working on the credit. Omar Martinez came and told me to do the application online for my son since the bank wont know who actually did the app. First shady thing that happened. They were able to get an approval from a subprime lender so the lender charged the dealership a fee to do the loan. It is Ilegal for the dealership to charge this fee to the customer. So what they tried to do is change the price to hide the fee in it instead of the dealership eating it. I informed Omar that I have been a Finance Manager in the dealership space for more than 16 years and know how things work. When they brought out the screen print out with the deal structure, it had a price of $25,500 plus a $4,500 warranty and taxes and fees. I asked where he got that price and said I would allow them to pay the internet price of $24,291. This is where it went left! My daughter showed him the price from Car Guru, and he goes back to the used car manager, Ben Diblasio, whom had been working the deal from the beginning. This is when the price was changed online. Omar and the sales person came out with a ipad showing us the car on their site with the $26,550 price. I told him that I understand how this goes and that I know the price was changed when he went back there. He said that car guru gets vehicles from their site but put their own price on the site. Im like now you are lying to my face. I told him again, I'VE BEEN IN DEALERSHIP MANAGEMENT FOR OVER 16 YEARS! You can change the price on your own site imediatley, but it takes 24 hours for all other internet platforms to update. He kept repeating the same thing, making me so upset. Then he said, there is no use in talking any more, we are responsible for our site and no others. I said so its just forget the customer. Then I went up to Ben Diblasio, I asked how he would not honor the price that we saw. He tride to tell me the same thing that Omar said. I told him that you both are liars! Then he switches it up and says that his General Manager changed the price today and he could tell me the exact time, and said 4:40 this afternoon. I told him we called and spoke with DeJa at 3:50 and told her we were on our way. Drove an hour to purchase it at the price we saw on line. He began talking about him having the right to not sell the vehicle if it did not make sense and the bank was charging a fee and he would not honor the price I saw earlier on their site and the same price that had not changed on Car Guru yet. I said, so you are trying to charge my kids the bank fee, which is illegal. He tried to say he wasn't doing this. I asked, so if I purchased the vehicle in my name, would I get the price that I saw, he said probably, Then he was like but if there is a bank fee. I said no, with out a bank fee, and he realized that he had just admitted to charging my daughter the fee and said no. I'm not sure if he really understood. There were so many witnesses to our conversation. Both New car managers John Chun and Eric Rosenman were there listening. They knew he was digging himself a hole! There were at least 7 employees all standing at the tower while we had this conversation where he continued to lie and dig himself in this big hole. I tried to inform them that I spent my last 6 years with Toyota. I mentioned that if a customer was at my store with the same conversation, we would honor the price and make that customer happy. He told me from his mouth that we as customer's were not important and if he was me standing here in the same situation with his daughter, he would not buy the car. Ben Keating Toyota scammed me. They Sold a car with a major accident as a clean history car with no accidents . But it turns out Ben Keating was lying and they had repaired the car under the table and sold it as new or under warranty. I bought a 2022 VW with less than 10,000 miles on it and sales told me the car is in great condition with No accident or issues. I didn't see any visible issues neither, except the backup camera issue which sales person told me, they will fix it in the parking lot for me or dealer will take care of it. Bc car is under warranty. They tried to sell me this bull crap package at closing which I refused to pay for. The package indicated that car has been inspected and pampered by Keating Toyota and they have add so much to its value. Anyway I got the car with my trade in and paid the rest in cash. After 48 hours I took the car to VW dealership to fix few things that were under warranty. VW told me the car has had bad accident in the back side and whoever repaired it, did a very bad job. And they simply lied to you that this is a great car. This is a horrible car with major electronics issues which will never be repaired unless you pay out of pocket. So car has leaks from the roof to GpS and electronics enclosure area, and nothing is covered under warranty anymore. Apparently it had a bad accident and they had to repair the trunk door and roof but they did a bad job and the car is messed up. So what was wrong with it? Back up camera gone Front safety assist gone GPS gone Titled mirror gone Remote control app gone Remote door gone Software update gone And about 10 more electronics issues which we were told all need to be repaired. I went to Keating in late August after I found a lifted Tundra online. I called and spoke to a salesman to find out more, said I want to come test drive it later and asked if he could hold the keys until my husband and I could get there. He said yes. I received 3 more phone calls from different representatives with the dealership confirming my appointment. I just figured they were on top of it. We showed up and were told the truck we went for was sold 5 minutes prior. It was initially pretty crushing, because this Tundra was preowned in a unique color with some modifications done to it that would have saved us the effort. Oh well, they didn't seem too bothered and immediately tried to bait and switch us to another tundra. I test drove it because at this point, I knew this was the make/model I wanted regardless. I figured the conversation to see what my trade in looked like wouldn't hurt. We were sat down with Shawn which is about where everything got about as bad as it could get. I'll just be straight, Shawn lost the deal for them 100%. He won't shut up, he kept saying "I can make these vehicles any color you want, we can lift whatever you want," etc. as if it's not going to cost us an arm and a leg to basically recreate the truck they sold when they were "supposedly" holding it for me. He wouldn't even let my husband and I discuss it amongst ourselves - he just kept talking. At this point, we're *finally* told that they don't hold keys by policy. That would have been fantastic to know hours before as we would have gotten there earlier. My husband and I are gearheads. We do our own work and know our stuff. Shawn refused to even look at me (I feel like it was a cultural thing as I'm a mere woman) or address me, even after my husband kept deferring back to me - this vehicle purchase was for my primary. He assumed we know nothing about vehicles and condescended towards us the entire time. This man will make you talk over him just to get a word in. I decided to pull the plug and he asked me - not exaggerating - "you don't like the truth?" Oh boy. I lost it. Everyone else was nice enough but this one guy was bad enough to offset that. On principle, we will never do business here and will steer away anyone and everyone we can. This was unacceptable. We did get our happy ending with Sterling McCall. Remember that arm and a leg I mentioned? I ended up spending that and it was worth every penny. I went about 10k over the budget I went into Keating with and put another 7k into the lift/wheels/tires. Totally worth it. It was a god send on that hot 101 degrees day and I am sorry I cannot rmeemebe the gentleman name who drove the tow truck and rescue me ! He was kind and courteous and sympathy. He was familiar with Keating Toyota since he was working for a company who has a account with Keating which made the transaction smoother. I was able to pay the towing fees thru my account at Keating which was cool! I didn't have cash on me and I didn't have my debit card on me also but I was please they were able to put it all on my invoice paper work! Thank you all again for helping me! I called specifically asking about a vehicle and a very specific option pano roof that was a deal breaker. In the first call I asked to speak to a sales agent, was informed that she was a sales agent. I asked about the cars availability and the pano roof. Was told they had the car and that it did have a pano roof. Told them great it is a 45 minute drive for me and I wanted to make sure since I have a limited window due to my 1 year old sons nap windows. She confirmed they had it. Called again but got someone else so I asked to speak to the same agent and was put on hold. It was a awhile so I hung up and called again. I was able to speak to the original agent and asked to reconfirm the pano roof and for her to send me the spec sheet. She reconfirmed that it had the pano roof and would send me the spec sheet. After the confirmation I loaded up my wife and 1 year old sons to do the 45 minute drive for him to sleep in the car and be awake when we got to the dealership. When we got there got passed to David and Chase, they were great. But realized that the lady I was speaking to was just a CSR to take a call and get you in the door. Went to look at the car and test drive it. I asked if we could put in the car seat to test it and take our son with us so we can both be on the test drive. David and Chase were great they helped me getting the car seat installed while going over the great points of the vehicle as a family mover. As soon as I put my sleeping son in the car, I realized the car did not have the pano roof. I started fuming. David and Chase apologized for the error. They convinced us to still test drive the car and see if there were any other options that may fit our needs. The car was great but the pano roof was still a big deal breaker for my wife. When we got back David and Chase met us with their director to again apologize for the error and the inconvenience this has caused on our family. I am making this review about an hour after leaving this dealership trying to cool down before this post so I can look at it objectively. All of the people we met with in person or even the "sales agent" we spoke with were kind, personable. The actual agents were very knowledgeable. I believe the owner of this dealership or their upper management care more about getting people in the door and making a sale they actually taking care of their potential customers and leaving them with a positive impression and/or experience. This was a system and procedure issue from their owner and/or management. I will be very hesitant about spending my time or money at Keating Toyota. If I do, it will only be with Chase Baxter or David Jackson who made every effort to empathize with me and find a solution for my family. Verified twice that the vehicle was in inventory and drove an hour to purchase. Upon arrival, the vehicle was there and not able to be sold, as it was already sold to Enterprise. Very sad with the deceptive and predatory sales practice. A floor manager by the nickname of "Huggie" backed up the lies and dismissed them. I guess it's just how they do business. It all started 9/4, I've waited some time to see if they'd resolve the problem but to no avail so I'm here. My salesman was Maurice right off the bat sketchy but I heard good things about the dealership in the past. So I proceed to do credit applications and etc. without asking me which vehicle I was interested in Maurice just takes me to a vehicle on the lot and says test drive this I'm like umm ok, so I do so from the moment I got into the vehicle some felt odd but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. So I continue to do the financing paperwork and we submitted it I got approved for that specific vehicle which was a 2015 Ford Fusion. I was asked to put a down payment down and have a co signor which neither was a problem but here's where things get really twisted so after I did both of the above which the down payment at the moment was $1,100. So fast forward to 9/6 while driving the vehicle the windshield begin to get foggy so I turn the defrost on instantly started shooting glass from behind the dashboard. I immediately texted Maurice and said we had to speak which he agreed. So we meet on 9/9 in which I addressed the potential transmission slipping & the shards of glass being projected when I turn the defrost on those complaints fell on death ears. So on 9/10 I get 2 separate charges on my credit card one for $400 & one for $500...Still waiting to hear from them now. In addition to this the vehicle I am financing was sticker priced at 15k, with financing it made it almost 20k with a $524 a month note making it almost $40,000 for a used vehicle RIDICULOUS I'll never visit this location again. After a month of me trying to get it resolved the spot is better, but still there. My experience started off good. They were able to get me in a car. The car they put me in was used that they deemed unsafe and got me in a newer car. When it came to getting the correct paperwork over to my bank is when the nightmare started. I purchased me car April 21, 2025.The other car is the one showing up for a payment. Keating Toyota Strikes once again on predatory and unethical behavior to boost their commissions. BUYERS BEWARE OF SHADY PRACTICES BETWEEN MR. SHAWN NAWAZ & MR. MICHAEL CHARLES TLDR: As a First time car buyer, my dream turned into a NIGHTMARE due to UNETHICAL BAIT & SWITCH PRACTICES BY FLOOR MANAGER & FINANCIAL MANAGER, I was shadily forced to buy 4 APEX PROTECTION PACKAGES valued at $9857 just slapped onto my loan. There had been no prior paperwork or itemized breakdown of these packages anywhere on my service contract. No complete breakdown of the "BUYER ORDER" was presented to me nor did I have a paper copy or receipt. No e-mails have come in from Apex or Toyota reflecting any of these charges that I "bought" willingly. Not even an activation for the "mandatory APEX GPS" Had I gotten these emails, I would have taken action within 10 days of the cancellation of this OPTIONAL ADD ONS. The Financial manager Michael Charles failed to provide any documentation of the APEX packages and gave me no option to deny any of these unwanted add-ons. Upon catching the mistakes, I had to go into the dealership twice to get the necessary documentation, only to find out the service contracts had my named printed and forged under my "signature" but not my actual signature/ Basically was upcharged nearly $10k on top on "MANDATORY" optional packages. They took advantage of me and tried to rush me to sign all these paperwork without properly disclosing these add ons anywhere on any documentation copies I have. Therefore I had to make 2 visits to get copies of these charges. Not to mention that the CFPB ordered Toyota Financial to pay $60 million in consumer redress and penalties for operating an illegal scheme to prevent borrowerss from cancelling product bundles that increased their monthly car loan payments. (Please look this up) I know this is not their first time resorting to these shady practices as there have been multiple complaints via the BBB and Reviews both on Google & Yelp (please look it up yourself) about Keating Toyota and their shady practices. I am explaining in great detail so that I can remember all my thoughts from these situations unfolding. I hope this will be helpful for any buyer potentially looking and not falling victim to this scam. I am currently waiting on the GM Anson Jones to provide video evidence to proceed further action and resolution. 3/29/24 - the day I bought the car - Andrew (sales rep) and Shawn (manager) agreed to $48,500 WITH TAX upon initial agreement of the purchase of my 2024 Crown Limited - There website had my car listed for $48,257 with a dealer discount of roughly $4k which was advertised on their website as $44,257. - During the office visit Shawn said price with my $25k down was $717/month in financing, he only focused on the monthly payment and didn't go over the total cost of the car WITH THE "REQUIRED APEX PROTECTION" - Shawn had his monitor zoomed in on the screen and was moving around numbers on the "purchase info screen" - On the PIS breakdown sheet, the subtotal of the car is $28,000 the "total fees/options $4844 and the finance charge was $4753.90 - QUESTION - why my subtotal is $28,000 - where did the extra $4500 get added onto? $48,500 - $25k down = $23,500 - No "required" apex protection with windshield, paint, APEX GPS was discussed or mentioned to me, this would be ~$10k in add ons from Shawn baked into the total financing cost which ultimately lead to my monthly payment of $717 - DEFFERED PRICE $63,527.80? Moving onto financial department - Mike Charles NEVER presented the breakdown of the cost and packages of add ons, only presented these OPTIONAL packages as stated on the sheet NEVER SHOWED THE BUYERS ORDER PAGE - I recall I never signed any signatures for APEX protection package 4 different packages that equate to $9857 because none of those documentation was ever presented to me - No where in any documentations I had, that disclosed those packages included in the price breakdown, it was only reflected in the total price. Which was left for me to find out later on. - I never received any signed copies or papers that stated I purchased these options or even the benefits or how to use them (customary practice to provide receipts) - ~ if it was actually required for me to buy it, then where are all my documents reflecting this? Where are my receipts and paperwork for these "required add ons" - I signed the paperwork that was given to me and I brought the car home. ~ It is my wedding week so things got hectic and I went to my honeymoon immediately right after. I return on the night of 4/29/24 (exactly 30 days after purchase) Keating was closed so I had to go the very next day to speak to them. Had the greatest experience here. We were looking at a used highlander and we drove 4 hours away to look at this one. It was definitely worth it! They knew we had driven a ways to get there and they were so understanding in getting us a deal and letting us drive home happy in our new-to-us car! On January 30, 2024 drove 3 hours from Austin, TX for a great price on a Toyota 2023 Venza that was advertised as Certified Pre-owned. When we got there learned that the "Certified Pre-owned" was only an option that it would be an additional 1.2K to the price if we wanted to add. This already felt deceptive, but we had driven a long way and it was still a good price so we went ahead with the purchase. I specifically asked if it included the first few oil changes like the Certified Pre-owned Lexus that we have and they said yes. Today I take the Venza for a routine oil change at the dealership and am told that the car is not "Pre-owned Certified." I called the dealer ship was hung up on, got no answer and then finally talked to someone who said they would look into it and call back, but it has been 90 minutes and I have not heard anything, so I am leaving the dealership. I doubt I will hear back for anyone, but I will update review if someone does contact me to make things right. Bought a used car from them a few months ago and just getting around to writing a review. I have been to numerous car dealerships in the past and never experienced this bad of service. I highly recommend not buying a car from this dealership. The price as advertised online was drastically different from the price at the dealership, not to mention the hidden add on dealer fees that they try to squeeze in at the end of the process. We agreed upon a set price and then when I went to the finance department they had jacked up the price 10% higher than the initial agreed upon price. The car I looked at stated that it was a certified pre owned however when I got to the finance department they refuted this and decided to not sell it as certified pre owned despite the fact that the sales team had told me it was and the car was advertised as such. On top of this they tried to low ball me on my trade in price and seemed to laugh at the price I wanted for my car despite the fact that I provided multiple certified offers from other dealers around the area. I understand that this is a part of the business but the way the sales guy handled the situation was unprofessional and he came off as very arrogant. I will say on the bright side the younger guy named Chaz was incredibly helpful and by far the most honest person I dealt with the entire time. If it weren't for the fact that I wanted this specific limited edition color on the vehicle I purchased I would have likely bought the vehicle elsewhere. If your car breaks down and this is the closest dealership to take your car to for repairs, I would recommend spending the extra money to tow your car far away from this establishment. This dealership is full of scam and deception. From the sales floor to finance, managers, and even customer relations. The one I thought I was getting on the sales floor, and then the one they slipped to me in finance which turned out to be several thousand dollars higher (I have both signed documents). There was nothing in the deal that reflected what I signed on the sales floor other than the trade-in value of my truck. I failed by making a terrible assumption that the deal we made on the sales floor was the deal, because why would I think I was still having to negotiate after just finishing negotiating. On top of that, the customer relations representative, completely customer blamed me (and "most customers") when I reported to BBB as "most customers do not understand that the price negotiated on the sales floor with the Sales Team is does not include finance charges or additional products offered in the Finance Dept." In addition, I had explained to him that the salesperson attempted deception as I arrived by saying there was only 600 miles on the truck and I caught him by seeing 3600+ miles on the truck's odometer (and the salesperson admitted he "somehow missed that"), customer relations continued to blame me stating I misheard on the phone. Well, this incident happened in person, so it really just sounds like the goal of customer relations is to find whatever way possible to prove the customer wrong. I will also be reporting this to the Attorney General as well as the Federal Trade Commission. Tried to sell me a car that smelt like smoke, tried to say it wasn't smoked in, and then later said "we have something that can remove that". The manager is a joke. Santana is also a coward. Do not accept him as your salesman. Wasted my time, in having me come to the dealership, not once but twice on a holiday weekend. I leased my 22 tundra here and was completely lied to by the finance guy about mileage fast forward to today and I was called and told that if I trade it in I could drop my payments in half and get out of my lease! When I arrived, It was obviously a bait and switch operation not only with my payments go up $400. They had nothing in stock like they said they did! Horrible dealership, went In with a pre approval letter with my bank. Told me since I was using my own bank they said my bank wouldn't approve the price of the car.. told me I needed to be financed through Toyota. They then showed me a out the door price with with a 6-8k finance charge. Managers and finance managers suck they were changing my rate around. Never been so mad in my life. read more

Absolutely awful customer service! In the span of a year, I have visited this dealership twice. Both times, I was met with horrible service at the front door. First off, the 6+ men at the entryway give extremely uncomfortable looks to women. I regret not listening to my instincts telling me to RUN!! To continue, in the most recent attempt at getting a vehicle from Keating, I tried to learn more about the brand new tundras. Any question ranging from what is the price on this vehicle to what features does this vehicle just resulted in the salesman, Arturo, responding with "just look it up on the website". After 15 or so minutes, the salesman, Arturo, left us in the lot without a single word. Out of all my experiences purchasing vehicles, I have never experienced anything like this. My family will not be giving this dealership any business. MANAGEMENT: please train your employees to provide better customer service. Until then, I'd recommend going to a different Toyota dealership to save yourself the headache. read more

Do not shop this Dealership!! If I could rate this place less than one star I would. Drove by today to look at a vehicle I had seen online. As soon as I'm driving in a young Hispanic guy walks across my driving path and makes me stop so I don't hit him. Seeing that he was a sales guy I asked him to move and drove by. Needless to say that within two minutes this guy and his "Manager" are literally following me around in a golf cart. I finally stop to see a vehicle, and they are yelling at me though my drivers side window. I rolled down my window and they proceeded to hound me about help. They would not leave me alone after I asked over five times that I was just looking and didn't need help!! It got to the point where I just told them to leave me alone or I would just leave. The manager then told me "leave then". So I drove off. As I'm leaving I saw the vehicle I initially came to see and go to it. Well don't you know, within a minute the same salesperson is walking my direction hounding me again!! I told him to move away and he refused. I will never step foot at this dealership ever again. Terrible. We negotiated a price on a new vehicle and my wife signed in person. I was out of town so I had to come in a couple of days later to sign. When I asked about the protection plan that we had purchased I was told that it had been taken off to get the price down to where we had agreed. They never told us that the protection plan coverage would be reduced with our new price. The paperwork for the original package of protections was "Apex Protection Package" but they switched it on the final document that we signed to "Apex", again with no indication that anything about what we were buying was changing. Sly move by untrustworthy people. I will never buy a car from this dealership again. We worked with Americo, Lee Ware, and Ben DiBlasio the manager. When I talked to another manager about it (Matt) he said sorry but the deal was done. read more

As we sit here and wait for our cars to get serviced he comes and starts addressing everyone in the waiting area, insisting we buy a car from him. Said it was a BOGO, he'd give us another car. How stupid do you think we are. His personality is suffocating and WAY too pushy. He doesn't realize that's a repellent for some people. I was trying to buy a $130,00+ vehicle owned by the partner/general manager of the dealership. Poor communications, would not respond to texts, emails and phone calls before paper work was finalized to be sent to me out of state to explain fees added. All I can say is think twice.
