    Poor service and food

$54 and not sure for what. I asked for a few extra onions and mixing the meat and chicken in the 3 wraps I ordered. The guy (Persian gentleman) charged me 1/3 more which was fine. But then did not do what I paid extra for. Here is my order sitting there (cold by the time I got it). Above all he was just beyond rude. The young lady and taller gentleman were so nice. Here is one of the receipts! They did a partial refund which I did not even ask for (as I never got my 3rd wrap).

Food is amazing. The NY style gyro fries are HUGE for the price but absolutely worth it. Burger was very good just more seasoned than we are used to.

I am always looking for another Kebab place. So I journeyed to the Northridge Fashion Mall food court to pay a first time visit to the Kebab Lab. I ordered a carry out of the Lule Kebab Plate. It is a combo dish that comes with two minced beef kebabs, pita, hummus, rice and a cucumber salad. The star of such a dish has to be the Kebab and let me say that it is only a few places that can make a good kebab. This place did a grand job. The kebabs were freshly grilled, juicy and not dry, were cooked right, had the optimum charring and burned taste. If anything, the meat was kind of bland and should have had more seasoning, to boost the flavor. Hummus was nice and silky and the salad was fresh and refreshing. Service was exceptional. Now I have a place that is not too much of a drive, when I am in the mood for a tasty kebab.

Great attitude, very chill guys cooking and serving. The food is great, and it's reasonably priced. The ambiance is inviting and fun! Lots of pink and checkered black and white- it's surprisingly comfortable feeling. Probably my favorite spot to eat in the mall. It'll bring you to the mall maybe!

The staff are nice and lovely people! The food is very very very yum yum! My wife and I were very satisfied with the food and pleased with how much spent on a meal for two! Will definitely return for more! My stomach is full and my heart is happy!

First off, the staff were friendly and nice when taking my order, so I will give this business that! I ordered a small meal and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I was in sort of a rush so I was happy it would be finished quickly. Unfortunately it took over 30 minutes to get my food, and the chicken was burned and sort of bland. The garlic sauce and bread are great though. The environment was clean and quiet, with some nice soft music. Wish I could have given this spot a better review!

A little bummed about this place! Kebabs are really a hit or miss for me. My mom brought this home for us to enjoy for dinner and it just wasn't for me. The rice was okay. Could've been better. By the time she brought it home, the plates they used were really soggy due to the condensation and it was tough to pick up. Basically had to slide it out of the bag and use a new plate. I got a piece of the chicken and a piece of the "beef" and some rice and hummus to enjoy. I started with the chicken which wasn't so bad but definitely needed a lot of hummus for me to eat it since it can get a little dry. I was sad to see they didn't have the garlic butter that a lot of other Mediterranean places have. The beef was a huge disappointment. Not sure if it's a seasoning or what but it did not taste like beef. It tasted like lamb to me and I absolutely cannot stand the flavor of lamb. I was so bummed! I was really looking forward to it since I prefer beef over chicken in general. Sad to say, I probably won't be eating here again. IG: @ammysalamii

Maybe I'm a bit spoiled from Raffi's Place but this was just mid Rice and meat had little to no flavor the ambience was old school cafeteria I do appreciate the hard working cooks as there was only 1 guy manning both the grill and the cash register If anything looks like the wraps might be the way to go

Order number 10 and 3. Was amazing to our surprise small stop but very authentic Armenian food

Even though it was early, I noticed a ton of pickup orders coming through--always a good sign that locals love the food. I ordered the chicken and beef koobideh and really enjoyed it. The chicken was dark meat (which the server kindly asked about--great service there!), and it was juicy and flavorful. My husband got the trout fish meal, but he was a bit surprised--he expected a fillet and got it with skin and bones instead. Just something to note if you're not into that. The only thing that caught us off guard was the eggplant borani. When the server said it "comes with bread," we assumed it was complimentary, but it turned out to be a charged appetizer. That was on us for not clarifying, but a heads-up would have been helpful. Overall, solid food and service--just watch out for the add-ons!

We were attending an event at the bookstore next store so it was a no-brainer to give Pi on Sunset…read morea try. Mediterranean food is pretty consistent (ie the same) for my tastes wherever I get it so I was pleasantly surprised by a few elements of Pi. The pies, for example...I tried the Zaatar pie...honestly it was not much more then a thick, airy, freshly made pita with Zataar and olive oil on it...but it's sometimes the simplest things which delight. The Zaatar pie delighted. I tried the Lebanese red wine (I mean, when in a Lebanese restaurant, why not?) And it stood up to any red I'd had anywhere else. The Tabouleh (one of my Mediterranean standards) was fresh made, filling, and a nice companion to the heavier Zaatar pie. It was awfully nice, and unexpected, to get complimentary baklava at the end of the meal...2 generous sized pieces which were pretty indulgent and eliminated the need to get (and pay for) dessert there or anywhere else. Service was lovely...the manager or owner took care of us and made us feel he was truly grateful that we were there. It's also a hookah spot...so if you're not into that vibe or smoke of any kind, (I'm not really) you'll definitely smell that anywhere you are in the restaurant, even if you're not seated next to those using hookahs. If you've got a hankering for Mediterranean...especially a place that has some unique things not at other Mediterranean spots, definitely give Pi on Sunset a shot.

The fries were even worse, they tasted stale, like they were at least a day or two old, and had that chewy, reheated texture instead of being crispy. Definitely not something anyone would want to eat.

Yesterday around 3pm, as I was in the area, saw this Falafel Palace and decided to pull into their big parking lot which is shared with other businesses. Their restrooms were also very clean. Walked in and was greeted by a very friendly employee. He was pleasant and gave me a rundown of their menu. They have a vast menu from bowls, to plates, to pita wraps, salads, many different types of sauces, vegan and gluten free options too. Just to name a few. Desserts, such as Baklava and variety of cookies. I did end up getting one Baklava and it was moist, fresh and delicious. Prices are super affordable for their portions. 10/10! I went with beef and chicken skewers, and asked them to put my hummus on the side and not to overcook the meat. I like my beef to be medium-rare to medium. Chicken skewer also had a lot of flavors to it. There were very well prepared and seasoned to perfection. I also got their Greek salad with lots of healthy vegetables. Stayed with water. They have many different types of juices: bottled, & fountain drinks. They even checked on me once, considering the fact that you place your order at the counter, and they will bring out your food to you. Food was very delicious & fresh, along with service and the ambiance in their outdoor seating and inside was SPOTLESS CLEAN with some great music playing overhead. Thank you Falafel Palace, management and employees. Always stay true to yourself and consistency is the number one key. If and when I am in the area again, I will definitely stop by!

So I ordered 3 Gyro meals. Lamb, chicken, and beef with the combo meal fries and drink. For the 3 sandwiches with each of them having a side of small fries and small drink I paid $71.29 for the entire order which is crazy in itself but the real crime was the food here, I am surprised how this place is been running business this whole time. First thing you do when you sit in a car? Take a few bites of the fries, and let me tell you that shit got stuck in my throat from how dry and nasty it was absolutely no SALT on any of the sandwiches and or fries... We all know salt makes everything more delicious and we had none of it. Me and 2 of my guests all had complaints on how unsalted and bland the food was. Also with a gyro usually you need a garlic sauce aka white sauce for my New Yorkers, they tried to charge me $5.90 for a SMALL plastic side of garlic sauce for my $20 sandwich. Save your money head over to Pita Pocket or any other gyro spots cuz this ain't it. It's really not hard to get a gyro down. Trader Joes also has a box of gyro meat you can buy make at home and I did once and it was WAYYYY better then this place lol. This place gets 0 stars for charging customers $20+ for a freaking combo meal that doesn't even include a garlic sauce.
