I want to leave a good, but honest review for Kebab Planet. I Walked in for lunch and was greeted with a friendly staff,(+1) and ordered two beef döners which we waited a reasonable amount of time for.(+1) The biggest thing that took the score down was that the meat and bread were barely Room temperature when we received it.(-2) I love Turkish and Mediterranean food, and it would have been so much better had it been served hot. The fries were good, (+1) but also not served hot (-1). The special sauce was really really good and the overall taste of the meal was good!(+3)Being priced at the middle to higher end of $$/5 for a meal I think this place has amazing potential to do well in a spot that has historically seen places come and go. Also, Having some music playing would add 1 star immediately. This is a new restaurant so I would definitely cut them some slack and hope they find their groove, because their food looks and tastes great. I wrote a critical review in hopes the owners see it and are aware of the customers experience. Finally went to try this place after seeing the sign a few times. seeing that its german doner peaked my interest since i am german and been missing doner. And this doner did remind me of eating doner back home in germany. The portion, I had the Cali Doner, was great, it was plenty of food! And i had spezi for the first time in a long time again too (its cola and fanta mixed together). got our food fast. I didn't try it this time but they also have an organic chicken option. My wife and I ate here today and it was delicious! I had the classic falafel sandwich and my wife had the chicken wrap. Also an order of fries. Everything was so good! The falafel was the best I've had and the toppings (feta, lettuce, tomato, and red cabbage with yogurt dressing) were very fresh. Huge sandwich size. The fries were very good too. My wife loved the wrap and was full after eating half of it, so she has lunch for tomorrow. Extra friendly staff as well. We look forward to our next visit to try more menu items! read more

I'm a big fan of doner kebab meat, and this place has 2 vertical rotisserie, one for the lamb and one for the chicken. I tried the doner meat burger, the doner box with fries, and the doner planet pizza. The burger was the most bang for your buck, only $4.99. It has white/red cabbage with the doner kebab meat and the sauce. My favorite was the pizza. I got the 12 inch for 12.99. It's a pizza with a lot of cheese with doner meat on top with multiples sauces on the side. I recommend if you like this type of meat. read more

They have authentic Turkish food. The portions are huge and very well priced. Everything tasted fresh and the meat was amazing. It was different from the kebab wraps I've had before but it was sooo good, the bread was so soft and everything tasted really fresh and balanced. Had been driving by this place most days for awhile always with the thought in mind to try it one day. Finally my boyfriend and I decided to just go and we are so glad we did! It's delicious! I am a diabetic and eat low-carb and found that there were a few really good options for me. I have been 2x now and I have ordered both the salad box and the plate. My boyfriend ordered the wrap and was a happy camper lol My salad box was great, comes with your choice of beef or chicken (I got both), along with lettuce, cabbage, onions and tomatoes. I also added feta for an extra change. The meat was so flavorful and their chili sauce and special sauce are my favorites out of the four they offer. The second time (it was so good I went back a couple days later to bring my mom) and I ordered the beef plate which came with more meat than the salad box, and your choice of fries, rice or salad..any two combinations. It was a good amount of food and was just as tasty as the first time in. My mom ordered a beef sandwich and couldn't even finish it because it was so filling. So if you're hungry and in the area, or even if you are not in the area but dont mind a drive for some good food, I would highly recommend stopping in and giving this place a try.
