Visited Kebab Planet on their grand opening today, eager to try their $1 sandwich special. The choice was between beef or chicken, and I opted for the Angus beef. The cashier successfully upsold me on the Jumbo fries. The wait time was a bit long, but I imagine they'll streamline their process soon. When I finally got my beef sandwich, it was worth the wait. The toasted bread was delicious, which is saying a lot since I don't usually enjoy bread. The sandwich had thin slices of beef atop a bed of thinly sliced lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and red cabbage. I chose to have the sauces on the side and dipped each bite into their classic dip. The flavors were amazing! The only downside was the fries. We ordered the Jumbo size but received what seemed like a medium portion. This might be due to the grand opening rush.
