This was one of my favorite restaurants pre pandemic.. I have eaten here several times since the pandemic with each time being more disappointing then the next. Most recently, I came to Kee for my b-day; the bread had a hair in it; the waitress forgot our appetizers, our food came we advised of the appetizers and were told all of our entrees would be remade hot and fresh. Appetizers eventually came, they were lack luster. The food was never recooked and cold food was served; we sent it back twice for a reheat, but ultimately the restaurant back of house was a total failure. We didn't bother to mention anything to management because everything was so terrible that we didn't want to get anyone fired or ruin the mood of my b-day. Last night I had a dinner reservation. When I stepped up to the desk at the time of my reservation I was to the time we were given was to put us on a list that were actually there. We were told that 5 tables needed to be cleared and that one group of two was in front of us. This is unacceptable customer service for me! I will not be returning to this restaurant. read more

I ordered the grouper topped with lobster. It was very good. A few hours later I had stomach pains. The next day I called at 4:30pm and spoke with the manager he asked me why i didn't call in the morning and I told him the website said they opened at 4:30 and told him of the situation he told me if someone else calls he would call me back. I eat out a minimum of 5 days a week and never had a problem and for the manager not to say he was sorry and acted like I was making it up. Food was delicious but was surprised that there was no early bird. Friends told us to go early for it but it's not available Friday or Saturday. Manager was gracious to comp a couple of salads. Service was attentive and friendly and the room, while huge, was nicely decorated and lots of room between tables. All together a very pleasant experience. read more

This was the first restaurant my family and I went to after 3 months of quarantine. I am so glad we did. Despite being a native Boca Ratonian, I had never heard of Ke'e Grill let alone been here. My mom and grandparents said they loved this place, so we came here for my mom's 60th birthday celebration on a Sunday shortly after they re-opened. When you first walk in, they take everyone's temperature before you are lead to your table, which I loved. The restaurant looked sparkling clean, and they had "social distancing tables" scattered throughout where people weren't allowed to be seated (50% capacity). They also went the extra mile and left blue notecards (see pics) on each table letting patrons know that everything on the table had just been disinfected and cleaned. I loved this small but notable gesture from management. Also, all wait staff AND chefs (very important) were wearing masks the entire time. Now onto the food and value- you can't beat it!! We went at 5:00 because we wanted to do the Sunset Menu, which is honestly the majority of their regular menu (same portions and all), but cheaper. This menu is available every night from 4:30-6pm. It also offers $6 wines, which is rare at a restaurant of this caliber. It was already on the table, so we didn't even have to ask for it. I liked this because I feel as though restaurants can try to be deceiving to patrons and won't give discounts/specials unless they ask, but even after being closed for Covid-19, Ke'e Grill has their specials/Sunset Menu front and center! We started with the complimentary bread. They had 2 kinds- garlic and regular- and the garlic bread was to die for, even better than most Italian restaurants I've eaten in! The sunset menu comes with a complimentary soup or salad (Caesar or House), and the salads are big- no side salad portion! By the time we were done with the bread and salad (and wine), we were almost too full for dinner! Most of the table ordered the seared yellowtail snapper, while I ordered the caramelized onion yellowtail snapper. My mom was debating on a fish dish or trying their pork chops, and she opted for the latter. My grandma got the shrimp, which she has had before. In addition to your main, you get 2 complimentary sides. I tried everything at the table (don't worry- different utensils and plates), and everything was amazing!!! There was not a bad dish on the table. The pork chops were the best I've ever tried, so juicy and flavorful, and my mom was so happy she decided to get them. The sautéed yellowtail snapper had a nice dressing over it, which made it moist and flavorful as well. My caramelized onion yellowtail was delicious, and it had a sweet/savory flavor to it, but because the fish is so mild, the dish itself was sweet. I asked for them to put the pepper sauce on the side (because I was afraid it would be spicy), and it was DELICIOUS! The sauce was super mild in heat but packed so much flavor; next time, I'll have them leave the sauce on. I loved the dish, but when I gave pieces to my family to try, they preferred the sautéed yellowtail. The spinach Maria (creamed spinach) was very good, and the mashed potatoes were average (although, admittedly, I make the best mashed potatoes, so I'm a tough judge). I could only eat half of my main and barely touched the side dishes because I was so full, but I got a full dinner out of it the next night. Overall, what a great experience and night we had. There aren't many restaurants we can trust during these quarantine times, but Ke'e Grill is certainly one of them. The food was delicious, the wait staff was incredibly friendly and great, and the restaurant was CLEAN most importantly, and is taking even more precautions than the state has required. We will actually be back here this week, and I can't wait! read more

Terrible! Very old crowd, packed tables. Garlic bread is fair. I went to order the baked stuffed shrimp, and our waiter said it's not good. Instead I ordered the crab cakes. The side baked potato & spinach was good. I could only eat one crab cake. No taste & so dried out. I really should of returned it. The Caesar salad was nothing special. Great service. Came in for dinner before going to the boca raton resort. Garlic bread was great if you do like garlic and butter which we do. Entrees came with house salad and 2 sides. We got Branzino with key lime aioli which was absolutely delicious. The Second entre was yellow tail snapper with carameliZed onions but that was too sweet and chewy... don't know if yellow tail is suppose to be chewy but it wasn't great. The server did warn me it is smothered in caramlized onions. So beware only order if you love caramalized onions. For sides we ordered buttered pasta which was perfect. For my son. Enough portion for a kid. Asparagus, broccoli and mashed potatoes were great. read more

I have been coming here with my family for 20 years or more. The food never disappoints. I don't think anyone has ever had to send back one item. The decor is also very nice, and I'm sure it gets refreshed when necessary. The only thing sometimes questionable is the service. For example, on our last visit, there appeared to be no coordination between wait staff, runners and bus staff. My s.o. was a restaurant owner and she can spot this very quickly. As a result, our waitress seemed to have to do everything for multiple tables, including getting bread, salads, water, drinks, etc. This did not work well, and some items fell through the cracks, as did our opportunity to place our order when we were ready. She also cut off one family member in the middle of ordering. As my s.o. said, after so many years, this should be more of a well-oiled machine. read more

Kee grill is our favorite date night spot. It's quiet and the food is fantastic. We usually eat in but decided to take out this time. Only thing I would recommend is to check for plastic ware prior to leaving. We ate it on the beach and had to stop somewhere to get plastic ware. Other than that, I recommend this for a date night. Went with a party of 14 for a birthday and I'm glad I wasn't the one getting the bill cause this place isn't cheap! With that being said I understand why... the portions are large and they even have a pre fixe menu which includes a salad and dessert. I got a special which was scallops au gratin with gruyere cheese and Pablo bread crumbs with a side of mushrooms and asparagus which was huge and cooked perfectly! The Cesar salad is also amazing. The dressing is wonderful and I love the chilled salad bowls. Their bread is so warm and fresh and perfectly seasoned. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was because the waitress took forever which might be because she waited on us alone rather than with another server but she would also disappear for a while and never asked if anyone needed refills cause she was so all over the place. have been eating here for over 25 years. My parents have always loved it there and we have celebrated many special occasions there. Tonight was a poor dining experience. The $47 pupu platter was smaller than ever and dry. The jumbo volcano shrimp entree were 8 very tiny shrimp. The filet mignon medallions were dry and very poor quality. Been here many times. Never disappoints, but Chef needs to bring back the old cioppino recipe whatever the price. This was and should be again a signature item. Thanks. I honestly wasn't expecting much. Had a trendy feel given the average age here was about 75. And the servers definitely have a routine down ... feels like a chain. But the food was seriously good, service very professional, and ambience nice. I had the Cioppino. If I had the same meal at a smaller mom and pop type place I'd probably give it 5 stars. This restaurant is wonderful for many reasons. The atmosphere is so cool I love the umbrellas and the huge fish hanging on the wall. The food is very creative . We started with the Volcano Grilled Shrimp. So good. We had the Baked Grouper with Lobster Gratin. So delicious. Come here for the early bird special! That is the one good thing about south Florida, many of the places have early bird specials for the seniors. Early bird special is from 4:30 to 6:00 PM. Also highly recommend that you make reservations, even during a weeknight, as it does get quite crowded. Most of the early bird specials are between $20 to $25, which isn't a bad deal for some high quality food. All the specials also include a house or caesar salad. I had the baked stuffed shrimp. They were delicious! Lots of crab meat stuffing and they were juicy. could have used some mango salsa or some type of sauce, but nevertheless, they were still enjoyable. You also get a choice of two sides, so I went with the spinach maria and asparagus. The spinach maria is creamed spinach, and it was outstanding. Creamy, but not over the top, just right. You must get that side when you come here. Also had a broiled sea scallop which was terrific. The complimentary salad was standard, with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions with balsamic dressing. This restaurant has a pretty nice decor, with nice canopy, and a seafood theme, swordfish on the wall, etc. There are both booths and regular tables. Booths were cushioned, so it was very comfortable. Service was very good. All of our orders seemed to be correct, and they accommodated our needs. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience.
