Came by the other day and it was a mediocre experience. Parking is available on the surface lot next to the bakery or inside the parking garage behind the bakery. Kee Wah Bakery is a Hong Kong style bakery. During my first visit late afternoon, the bakery was deserted with only a couple front of the house staff members. The remaining baked goods included a dozen varieties of baked breads, cookies, along with a few slices of sad slices of cakes. Ordered a tiramisu cup and it was mediocre. It was more on the creamy side and the coffee powder on top was quite strong. During my second visit shortly after lunch, some of the bakers were still hanging out and there were a couple patrons coming in to buy baked goods. The baked egg tart was the flaky pastry crust and had a nice egg custard filing. The Portugese egg tart was decent although the 85C version seemed to be better and cheaper too. Egg tarts were $5.9 for 2. Ordered an iced Hong Kong milk tea and it was a fragrant tea flavored water...eek.

Amazing Chinese bakery! I got my birthday cake here and is was so light and not too sweet with tons of fruit on top and inside. We loved the cake and not cheap at $40 but worth it! The bakery had tons of options and was well stocked. Tons of baked breads, cookies and also had slices of cakes as well. Easy to park nearby. I will be back to try more cakes and flavors!

A must try I was drawn here to get JUST 2 egg tarts but ended up with a whole bag of bread and pastries (and no egg tart) These types of breads and pastries remind me of my childhood and are simply so yummy! Service is great and the selection is large. Walking through the double doors, it feels like going into the Chocolate factory but for pastries and bread xD!

Came by during the weekend. Picked up some pastries and a slice of cake. Inside looks organized.

Kee Wah has been a staple for my families birthdays. Their cakes are so fresh and moist - I absolutely love them. We typically get the fresh mango cake. I'm disappointed they changed the design (it used to be covered in mango slices), but the inside of the cake is still the same delicious cake. I'm very interested in trying their strawberry and green tea mango mousse next!

THE BEST CAKE I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!! So light and delicate and not overly sweet. Got this for my dad's birthday and my parents don't love sweets but we finished 75% of the cake in 5 mins. Will definitely be back to try all the other flavors!

My favorite breakfast "sandwich," a pineapple bun with spam and egg! It's slightly sweet & salty and so delicious. It has a really nice balanced flavor. The bread is really fluffy & buttery and I love how the saltiness of the spam just cuts right through. There's no seating inside, it's strictly grab and go. They have a great selection of various cakes, desserts, and pastries. The service is fast and they also have a pretty good rewards system. Free parking is available right outside too!

Thank you, Cherylynn. Never been here but I called and they have the red bean moon cakes!

Giving them a 5 for easy online ordering and the service the day of the pickup. I'm not super religious, but I do go to the temples and I pray once a month at home. Cung trung thu (pray during the moon festival) is something my entire family still carry. I started my carnivore diet on 8/22 and knew I wouldn't be able to enjoy it, but I went all out and bought a tin for my mom for her pray, too. I ordered 2 red bean tins and 1 red bean w/ egg tin, but they gave me 2 red bean w/ the egg and 1 red bean. On the website their limited custard moon cakes were sold out, but I saw 2 boxes near the register so I snagged it. The order mixup did not bother me. I ended up giving my moon cakes to my mom because my diet will not be ending till November. Pricey, but the packaging is lovely, and it's once a year. My mom said the custard moon cakes were not all custard. They are assorted. I didn't even ask her to elaborate which flavors she had. She also complimented that both red beans were very good as well. I trust my mom. Cupertino is far in my eyes, but glad I went. I made for the pray: + beef chow fun + chicken char siu The moon cakes made a lovely addition to my presentation.

I dropped by after dinner with my family. As they loaded up their tray, I walked around looking for vegan options. I found two items displayed near the register: Gluten-Free Vegan Coffee Cake Mini Loaf and the Gluten-Free Vegan Double Chocolate Chip Mini Loaf. Note: Their website mentions they also have a Vegan Chocolate Chip Muffin and a Vegan Blueberry Muffin, but I didn't see them during my visit. The Plain Baguette is also vegan. I tried both mini loafs, but unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with either. The texture was too sandy, the loaf was dry, and the flavor was lacking. Traditionally, a coffee cake is moist, buttery, and has warm spices like cinnamon with a crunchy streusel topping. This was lacking cinnamon and the topping didn't add texture. When I think of a double chocolate chip mini loaf, I imagine something rich, sweet, and chocolatey. This was not moist or rich, and the chocolate cake lacked depth. The only saving grace was the chocolate chips, but the actual cake texture wasn't enjoyable enough to finish it. As a vegan, I wouldn't shop here again. In fact, I'd rather have Abe's coffee cake or brownies from the grocery store than this bakery's vegan options. That said, I added two stars instead of one because the staff is friendly, parking is easy, the store is clean, and as I recall, their non-vegan options are tasty.

Even as I grew older, I never grew out of combing through their catalogue of delightful egg tarts and sweet and savory buns. The experience I'm speaking about today pertains to their custom cake order. You will likely need to speak Cantonese or Mandarin Chinese for this. I ordered a 1/2 sheet cake for my party of approximately 20 people, and we had almost half of the cake left over to spare! To be fair, I did give a much more generous estimate (I mentioned that there would be around 20-30 people attending my party). Definitely would've downsized had I known everyone's appetite would be so small. The ladies working there will let you know which size is best for your party. The cake was gigantic, and made in my favorite flavor (their mango mousse) with my birthday message written atop it in red and white icing. I loved everything about it! They're generous with the pickup process, you can definitely arrive after the time you specified for picking up. Everything went very smoothly, my friends were surprised that the cake was so delicious and many had never even had a mango flavored cake to begin with either! The creamy rich mousse layers complement the spongey cake perfectly. It was $135 total, but if you get their regular fruit cream cake, it'll be cheaper than if you pick a specialty cake (their tiramisu, passionfruit, etc).

When we've brought it to social gatherings in the past, it's also always a hit. Their other desserts, like their lemon bars, french napoleon, and turtle cheesecake, are also major hits. So when it was time for my wedding, I knew I had to get my cake from them! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. They offer cake tasting boxes that include their most popular flavors. However, we had a specific taste profile in mind and asked if they could custom make the samples for us - they said yes without hesitation and didn't charge us extra! The samples were delicious and the pickup process was easy. We went with a ribbon cake (chocolate and vanilla) with fresh strawberries, whipped cream filling, and vanilla buttercream frosting. I also had a very specific vision for my wedding cake - I wanted a detailed three-tier cake with buttercream vintage flowers. We also ordered a plain sheet cake with the same flavors to ensure that we had enough slices for our guests. I worked with Fariba during the ordering process and they were great. I am truly still SHOCKED at how beautiful the cake was and how it matched the inspo photo perfectly. It was a showstopper and extremely delicious. See the photo for details! It was covered in chocolate and filled with custard, and it was just the right sweetness and not too sweet. The size was pleasing, and the custard filling was good. The cake was not enjoyable; to be fair, this might or might not be due to personal taste. It was a 3-layer vanilla cake filled with lemon mousse, covered in buttercream and white chocolate bark pieces, and topped with 10 blueberries. This flavor can be found on their website catalog. I don't know if this is typical for this bakery, but the cake was heavy, claggy on the bottom, and way too sweet. The lemon mousse tasted incredibly strange, as if it were artificial or maybe had some kind of herb or weird flavoring added. The less said about the cream, the better. The white chocolate was quite good though. I saw they had a wide variety of cake offerings, but I don't think I'd want cake from here again. I might get the choux pastry again.
