What used to be a beauty supply store has been transformed into a unique city market filled with a variety of food vendors -- almost like a mini food court in the middle of the city. There are several cuisine options to choose from: Asian, Thai, Creole, Southern, desserts, ice cream, and more. Only a few vendors were open during my visit which is why I'm giving 4 , but I went with Thai, and it was delicious -- fresh, hot, and made to order. Wish the other options were open to choose from felt a little empty but will go back again to try a few others. I love the convenience of the self-service kiosks where you can browse menus, place your order, and pay right there. After that, you simply wait for your number to be called. The seating is comfy and makes it a great place to grab a meal, have a meeting, or just relax. Takeout is easy, too. A very cool and innovative concept for this part of the city. I'll definitely be back to try more.

I came here in the evening and people watched while I ate. There was a steady flow of customers but the waits weren't long at all. I had the steak bites with fried rice from Kim Son Express and it was decent.

I'm glad…read moreto say that this is no longer a necessity: there is solid Burmese fare smack dab in the middle of the Bywater. This isn't my first go-round with this particular dish, yet I thoroughly appreciated the exuberance and kindness with which the classic style of preparing and eating tea leaf salad was explained, as well as the meticulous detail in the preparation and explanation of ingredients--just look at it! My request for the vegan version was completely acknowledged and respected, too, so no worries, for the vegans and vegetarians out there. There are sufficient options for us too. Long story short, if someone truly, deeply cares for what they do, it speaks loudly and means more to me than the sum of its parts, and that's exactly what I got here: much love.

They have a large menu with lots of unique options that you can get elsewhere. I got the noodles. When the food came out, it was huge portion sizes, a little bit confused on the pricing since it didn't seem to match on the menu, I think on the menu it was around $17 and some change however, the total after tax came to be around $22. The noodles are great, lots of flavor with a splash of Lime taste in it. The chicken was underwhelming, it was more on the dry and cold side. Overall, it's a good place to get Asian food.
