We had a good experience here. I'm not a tourist but a Floridian who loves seafood. I noticed that the reviews for this restaurant weren't the greatest. So here's mine. We checked out the menu before hand and found exactly what we were looking for. They have a pretty good size bar that's the first restaurant on the pier. They also have plenty of tables around the bar area. Where we sat at the bar was unfortunately not cleaned off but not the biggest deal. We were greeted very nicely by a woman bartender who was very helpful with helping us decide on our drinks. Unfortunately, my boyfriend cannot drink orange juice or pineapple because of the citrus. She was wonderful and made a delicious concoction for him. We decided on the shrimp and lobster tater tot's and the seafood boil. After sitting at the bar under the shade for about 10 minutes, we got sick of listening to the hyper drunk girl a few seats over. We decided to move to one the corner tables in the sun instead. It was later afternoon so the sun was slowly dipping down so it's best to get what's left of the sun. The food did come out all at once and it blew my mind. I seriously didn't know where to start first, so went for the tater tots. The tater tots had this amazing seasoning and dressing and chunks of shrimp and lobster with a few other things scrambled around in that dish. Had a very hard time putting my fork down. The seafood boil- I don't know what seasoning they put over everything but it just was on unbelievably delicious. I really need to work on my adjectives because I'm having a hard time describing this amazing food. It came with crab legs, sausage, shrimp, potatoes and corn. For how much we paid for everything, we got a large amount of food that did not disappoint at all. The service was good and so was the food. I would definitely check this place out just request an added shot if you go for the rum bucket.

In all the years that I have been visiting the (now "Westgate") Cocoa Beach Pier, Oh Shucks was never great... but never horrible either. It always depended on when you happened to be there. On some days you simply had to wait a bit longer than others for your food and drink. Especially on crowded weekends. In the end, what you got was generally decent (for me, it was mostly beer or cocktails, and wings). I'd always chalked it up as part of the "laid back beach culture experience." I figured, why sweat the small stuff when there's such a lovely body of water nearby? However, with all of the so-called "renovations" being done to the pier, this one already ranks right up there as one of its worst (I won't even get into the issues I have with the other planned renovations). Now called "Keith's Oyster Bar," this place should have been renamed "Oh Shucks... I'm sorry I forgot your food... again." My wife and I were two of only 10 people there (literally), and had to wait 30+ minutes for our grouper salads. The bartender, who was a bit of a nonchalant douchebag, kept claiming that the reason the salads were stuck in the kitchen was because they had "run out of balsamic dressing." Our agony was heightened by flat syrup that was coming out of the soda dispensers. Instead of politely offering us an alternative to our soft drinks, he muttered "well, you better start thinking of something else to drink then." What an A**HOLE! When the food eventually arrived, it was disgusting. A pre-packaged honk of crap-for-greens (carrots tasted old, and some lettuce leaves had rotting edges), with a dry, burnt piece of fish thrown on top... in a platic container no less!! And that excuse for balsamic dressing!? Let's just say it was "all oil, no vinegar." Gee... I could have done a far better job at home in under 15 minutes. All of this for $13?! No f*****g way. Clearly this was the product of a greedy timeshare company trying to undercut its customers and maximize profits. Westgate... please do right by this. Fast.

This place was so good. I'm so glad I didn't listen to the reviews! I ordered oysters and lobster roll with fries - BOMB and they don't skimp on lobster. I'm adding the pic. The fries were so good!! My son got wings which were made on a grill and were amazing. Hubby got a burger and he loved it. Waitress Michelle i think her name was so very nice even though we came only 10 min before closing. Great time by the beach and great food! Love music too

We ordered drinks and a coconut shrimp appetizer. Drinks were great, shrimp seemed as if they were fried from frozen. It was not busy but waitresses were running around like they were super busy. It did take a while for our drinks to arrive (15 minutes) but they were good. Manager stopped by our table to check on us, which was nice. Great place right on the Cocoa Pier over looking the ocean.

Food and beverage needs revamping. Servers need better training on food items. Major language barrier as well.

I will start with the positive. The band that played 8/12/2017 was absolutely amazing. I'm not sure if they are there often but if I ever come back it would only be to see them. Absolutely amazing! Food and beverage was not good at all. Our sever was horrible and forgot all about us a few times. Let me start with the Oysters. When I asked our waitress about the Oysters she had no idea how to answer my questions. She had no idea what region they were from. Since they only had one type, I figured she should be able to tell me what they taste like, but nope. After discovering she didn't know what region, I started to ask about the taste and perhaps I could identify what region they were from by her description. She looked at me and said I have no idea what you are talking about. At that point I decided to go with a half dozen just in case they were horrible. When they arrived, not surprised; absolutely disgusting. Small, no taste, and barely any oyster inside the shells. Our food arrived 10 minutes apart from each other. As I sat and ate my boyfriend was waiting on the crab and shrimp boil. I had onion rings with my Oysters. The onion rings were cold. All of this food was dropped in the bucket and then the seasoning was thrown on top. I wanted to discuss the quality of food and beverage with my waitress but she never came back. Finally she returned about 45 minutes later, but proceeded to walk past us and then turned around and said "oh yeah." Oh yeah you forgot about us ma'am. No refills or anything. I'm glad we only spent 60 bucks, but we were willing to spend a lot more had the experience and food been better. I will definitely come back for the music and maybe drinks, (hopefully not watered down, but I will never eat there again.

This place was okay. Nothing special, just a beachside place to grab some quick food. The service was pretty much indifferent to you even being there. If you are looking for quick food and not an experience, then you will find it expensive. If you are looking for an experience, you surely will be disappointed.

However, I didn't like having to pay before being served, you have to pay, tip and order on a machine before getting serviced. if I hadn't, I wouldn't have tipped based on the service I received, it really was a 1-star experience. We got served before our drinks. And I never saw the waitress again. I had to flag down another employee who was cleaning tables to get us our paid drinks. One of my premium sides was missing, they were so busy I didn't even bother trying to track it down, I already had to pull teeth getting drinks. so I paid for something I never received. After spending over $250 plus, there wasn't even a simple thank you or thanks for coming at the end. Some customers enthusiastically got it, but we didn't. They saw us leave with no care. Overall, I won't be returning. When people go on vacation, we want to feel good, ya know?

We pulled into the parking lot, where there was plenty of parking available. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, but we decided to sit inside. There's a mix of regular and high-top tables, so you can pretty much choose whatever feels comfortable. The restaurant definitely has that old town beach feel. There's wood everywhere, and the décor is designed with the ocean in mind. It's casual, relaxed, and exactly the kind of atmosphere you'd expect near the coast. They also have souvenirs for sale, including T-shirts and a few other items. For food, we ordered the 1/2 lb. Fresh Chargrilled Burger and the Surf & Turf Burger. First, the service was great! We were greeted and told to sit wherever we liked, and the good service continued throughout our meal. Of course, we had to try a couple of drinks too! We ordered the Apple Pie Old Fashioned and the Pineapple Upside Down. The Apple Pie Old Fashioned was really good. One of those drinks you could easily have three of before realizing it! The Pineapple Upside Down was good too, but it mostly tasted like a pineapple drink. Tasty, but not much of a buzz. Now, let's talk about the burgers. Both burgers were juicy and flavorful, but I was expecting a little more from the Surf & Turf Burger. There was actually a generous amount of lobster piled on top, and the lobster itself was cooked well. But after tasting it, I found myself wishing I had just ordered a lobster roll instead. For me, the flavor of the burger overpowered the lobster. Lobster has such a delicate, naturally sweet flavor, and I felt like some of that got lost once it was paired with the beef. But that's just me nitpicking and probably a sign that when I want lobster, I should just order the lobster! Overall, we had a good experience. Great service, a fun beach-town atmosphere, good drinks, and juicy burgers made this a nice stop before continuing on to Cocoa Beach.

We traveled to the beach from Orlando for a girls' weekend and were excited to eat waterfront, so we decided to give Seafood Atlantic a try. The highlight of our evening? We saw dolphins in the water. So, two stars for the location and a couple of decent menu options, but the service needs a serious overhaul -- or at least that was our experience with the particular server assigned to us. From the time we were seated around 7:30 p.m., our waitress had an attitude. We were perfectly pleasant and explained that we had a couple of questions about the menu. After answering maybe two questions from one member of our party, she rather harshly informed us that she was there to start us with drinks "for the time being." We were taken aback but went ahead and ordered drinks. Despite there only being three of us, she still managed to forget one of the drinks. We also ordered Jell-O shots -- one for each of us -- and had no idea they came in different flavors. She neither told us nor asked for a preference; she simply left a variety on the table for us to coin-flip over. After the drinks arrived, she disappeared for at least 10-15 minutes before returning to take our food order. By then, it was around 7:45 p.m. She informed us that the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes and that our appetizers and entrées would all have to come out together. Given how little we had seen of her up to that point, we were understandably frustrated. We felt rushed and like we weren't being given an opportunity to actually sit and relax, but we agreed. Once the food arrived, one order contained an ingredient we had specifically asked to be left off, and the knives we requested never arrived. But the worst part came when one of my friends discreetly approached our server to pay the check. She wanted to surprise the group by treating everyone and was trying to do so without any fuss. Instead, our server gave her a hard time, saying, "I have another table and am busy right now." Apparently, the hostess had already run my friend's card and given the receipt to our waitress. Our server then came over, slammed the receipt down on the table, and said, "Here! She took care of that for you." It was unbelievable. The abrasiveness and utter lack of customer service were truly the most memorable parts of the evening. And for all that aggression, the food was barely worth it. Were some menu options decent? Yes. Was anything wonderful enough to make us overlook the poor service? Not even close. The fresh catch was nice, the sides were fine, and we all agreed the Gouda mac and cheese was yummy. Otherwise, nothing really stood out. In a very rare move for me, I actually asked to speak with a manager. They did remove the cost of an appetizer and a drink, but the bill was still upwards of $100, and by that point, it really felt like a rip-off. The view alone isn't enough to bring me back. I'll stick with Fishlips next door, which I would recommend as an alternative.

After waiting a few minutes, we moved a couple of tables together so our group could sit together. One of the younger employees came over and started yelling at us about moving the tables, saying it was a fire hazard. Whether or not we were supposed to move them, the way he handled it was completely unnecessary, especially with children in our group. We stayed calm and de-escalated the situation ourselves, but what bothered me most was that no other staff member stepped in or tried to help. Having an employee yelling at your group while everyone else just watches definitely puts a bad taste in your mouth. That being said, the food was good and the view is easily 5 stars. Eating and having a drink out over the water is a great experience. They serve beer in plastic cups, which isn't my favorite, but I understand the setting. Great concept, good food, and an excellent view. The staff experience was just strange and unfortunately took away from what otherwise would have been a really enjoyable night.

Man I really wanted to like this place but I just couldn't!!…read more It is a really mundane place over all. The ambiance is that of every other bar, which in itself isn't bad but it is when you don't do anything to really stand out. I ordered the southern burger and their special of deviled eggs. The deviled eggs were really good but only 6 half eggs was $12. Way overpriced in my opinion. The burger looked really good but for $22 for the burger and the fries, it better be top notch. Burger came out over done, with the entire bottom bun completely soaked in juice. It basically fell apart by the end of the meal. I will say the fries were really good but for $45 with a tip FOR ONE PERSON this place is way over priced for what you get. I also thought my service was just okay as well. Wouldn't recommend this place and won't be back.

They had the traditional Irish fare. My friend ordered the Ruben sandwich with sweet potato fries. She commented on how much corned beef in the Sandwich and how delicious the fries were. I ordered the corned beef and cabbage. Only $20.00. I received at least a half pound of very lean corned beef, red potatoes, carrots and steamed cabbage. A very generous serving. The corned beef was really lean , moist, tender, and very flavorful. What a great meal. They had traditional Irish music. Great atmosphere for the holiday. We had a great time.
