Service sucks! My order came out in pieces because the waitress forgot the first thing I ordered. Beer was warm. Oysters and crab legs were really small. It took 7 minutes for anyone to notice us and take our order. I guess when u don't have competition service and quality doesn't matter. couldn't get service for the first 20mins of sitting down even though the place says seat yourself. servers were very selective of what tables they approached. finally ordered food and had to wait at least 45 mins til we finally gave up and asked for it to go. And still had to wait an additional 20 minutes after that. 2 Lobsters baskets and buffalo chicken strips don't take that long anywhere unless you went to catch the lobster first. The food is typical. Do not order what they call the "Chicken Sub"...it's basically a roll stuffed with minced lettuce and tomato (like what you would find on a taco). The chicken in this concoction is 2 very small fried chicken tenders. $8.49? Probably better off just ordering the chicken tenders from the kid's menu. Last night went to Keith's Oyster Bar at the Cocoa Beach Pier, the live music was great but the waitress service and the manager Dan were the absolute worst I've ever experienced. How can you be in a restaurant for 2 hours and NOT get offered a menu or a drink refill (we got our own drinks from the bar)? I asked to speak with the manager and that was a 45 minute wait! This is NOT an establishment that I would recommend even with the great music. Could it possibly be because nobody else there looked like us???? My family came to this location every year, but this year was different, the morning crew treated us so badly and rude, the person attending the Bar acted annoyed he was serving us, he even snapped at us at one point, My mother walked up to the bar and asked for a beer and a Menu, he looked at her and said you do realize we have servers that can attend to you right? so you don't have to come here? he then went to the back and snapped at the servers and said who ever is attending that table; do so.we should have left then, but I still had hope that it was a fluke, it wasn't he was rude the entire time. If I could give a negative star I would. First of all service was very SLOW. We ordered one appetizer and it took 30 minutes. The waiter didn't even acknowledge that we were sitting there waiting. We then ordered 4 cheese burgers and that also took forever to get, he even told my aunt "shh" when my cousin was talking, we eventually called the manager over and he said "I can't give you your food for free but I can discount it" we didn't even ask for a discount I was just wondering why it was taking so long, when our burgers came out we didn't see cheese on one of the "cheeseburgers" so we said something, the waiter thought it would be ok to put his hands on our food and lift the bun to show us. The manager then came back out and we told him what happened and he brought out a new burger and said "would you like me to hand feed this to you". Stay the hell away from this place!! They tried to play off a fish allergy after giving it to my aunt instead of chicken said it was her fault for not mentioning it when she ordered chicken!! The food is average at best, the bartenders lack knowledge of some pretty basic drinks, and the servers seem like the unhappiest bunch on the pier. To make matters worse, today this place went from figurative to quite disgustingly and stomach turningly literal in how bad it stinks. Sewage was backing up and seeping from the manhole covers in front of the restaurant all day. Feces ran all over the sidewalk and when it was sprayed off, the runnoff polluted the parking lot all the way to the street. Unknowing people were coming off of the beach and walking barefoot through feces water. Everything smelled horrible. It was just really really awful. Plumbing problems will happen, but this is relevant to this review because of how long it took anyone to address the problem in any way other than a half hearted dumping of ice or spraying of a hose. We first noticed it at 2ish in the afternoon. As I am writing this, a crew just showed up to hopefully fix the problem. It is 920 at night. As far as I know, $#!+ ran in front of this place for almost 7.5 hours today. The health department should really look into this. read more

It is essentially a dive bar in an awesome location. The happy hour prices are great ($1.66 for a draft Blue Moon...), the staff is friendly and the location is amazing. The food is good, not great, but considering you are dining ocean front and not spending $100s of dollars it is a pretty great deal. Took my family and we all enjoyed it. Walked out to the end of the pier (free with your receipt) and enjoyed people watching as much as the ocean view. It is a good time in a great place. Don't go if you are expecting formal dining but if you are looking for an enjoyable night out, this is it. read more

Let's start when you walk in...... Do you seat yourself or do you wait? Took 10 mins for someone to acknowledge that we were standing and needed a table even after asking for attention from a waitress. We were seated and then it took 12 min before the manager came over to ask if we had been waited on. 5 mins later the waitress showed up to offer menus and take drink orders. 49 min later we still didn't have our food! Were told the kitchen was slammed yet when we looked around the place wasn't busy or packed as there was plenty of open tables throughout the place. After speaking to the manager and explaining or disgust with such a long wait time we were again told the kitchen was slammed. Poor staffing levels is not what the customer wants to hear. The customer wants to know that the manager is taking action to fix the issue not make excuses. When our food did arrive two of the 3 burgers were cold and sent back, ever eat a microwaved warm burger????? NASTY!!! I was there last Sunday the 28th and had the Chef's Killer Buffalo Wings along with many beers at the bar. The wings were good but not too spicy. The bartender Nikki was just slammed with all of the traffic on Memorial Day Weekend. They really could have used 2 more bartenders that day. While the location, atmosphere, and live music were a fun time, this could not have been a more terrible choice for our last dinner of vacation. The service was poor. We waited forever for someone to come get our drink orders after being told to seat ourselves. Our waitress disappeared after delivering our food; we later saw her hanging out with the drummer from the band while the musicians were on break. She couldn't even get our beer order correct (Stella and shocktop... she brought a LandShark and bud light...both were flat, so we got bottled beers instead). On top of the piss poor service, our food was mediocre at best. I've had better seafood from the nearby Joe's Crab Shack in Pigeon Forge back home. Our steamed shrimp was tough and overcooked, the chips served with our seafood dip were stale and chewy, and our raw oysters-- the main item we were out for-- were served warm/room temp and were not very fresh tasting. We were both left a little concerned about food poisoning. The grouper tenders were actually quite good. I recommend them. Ultimately, we wished we had saved time and money and had just ordered food from the tiki bar at the Hilton Oceanfront where we were staying. My boyfriend and I are both experienced travelers and have had our share of great, good, and awful seafood... this just didn't cut it, and the service was far from redeeming. read more

Bring a cooler or take a short drive to Fishlips at the Port; Oh Shucks is horrible. Been at this place since it opened 20+ years ago and will now never go back. It's sooo touristy, plastic cups only for your draft and I don't think the taps have ever been cleaned out. Years ago, you could sit at the bar and watch people and the beach; nothing now but white plastic all around the bar; which takes away any hope of giving Oh Shucks another star. I think all the restaurants at the Pier share the same kitchen; all the food at all the places are basically the same. We walked here from a condo we rented for a couple of weeks for nostalgia sake and we are sorry we did. Josh was a nice bartender but seemed to get in trouble for talking to us...all other staff were indifferent to us. We're born/raised in Florida; been going to Cocoa Beach since Ron Jon's was a nothin of a place, so we've seen a lot of transformation here and Oh Shucks, we should have gone somewhere else that day. Never went back and after not feeling well from 2 beers; we think they need to clean their lines to their taps and we will not be back to this tourist trap!! read more
