We got the catfish and shrimp platter. Shrimp platter, both with potato salad. Wasn't the greatest, you get your monies worth. My husband drove from Mandeville to Slidell for it on Good Friday. We flew into NOLA, and rented a car to go to MS to visit our Grandkids. When we got to Slidell, we were hungry. I thought I'd try this place. I have always loved the food down on the coast. So, we thought, why not? If you want ambience DO NOT come here. Basically it appears to be a converted gas station. Unless you are snobbish about such things, DON'T let that fact deter you from coming here. The food is absolutely the real deal. I had the oyster po-boy. My wife had the wings and the shrimp fried rice. Outside of NOLA, I have never had an oyster po-boy nearly as good as this place. read more

We loved this place. I saw the yelp reviews so we decided to try it when we were in New Orleans. People were friendly. We had soft shell crab poboys, shrimp poboys and catfish. Five stars because of the prices and the taste! Soft shell crab was great along with oysters and shrimp. The boudin balls a favored just right! It's worth the stop off of I-12. Okay this is and will be everything you ever want and more for a crawfish or shrimp boil. You have options to have them boil it or you can get it raw to take home. There are a number of things on the menu and its all amazing! This is a true mom and pop place, you won't find the 5 star look but it's 5 star food. These guys are all about customer service and go above and beyond to take care of customers. Now the boil is a medium spicy with a flavorful kick. No, it isn't pretty. But it is DEFINITELY delicious. I was in town visiting, and wanted some GOOD crab. After a few tweaks to the search, Yelp came to the rescue. Most people take their orders to go, but if you don't have that option, eating outside may be your best bet if the weather allows. This is a seafood market that crammed a few rickety tables over in the corner if you weren't taking it out. The area was frankly just dirty, the salt and pepper shakers were sticky, the bathroom was a mess and the food was your basic thrown in the deep fryer seafood with no real flavor. Came here based on the other reviews. The boil is awesome. Potatoes, corn, sausage, crab, shrimp, and crawfish, bought by the half pound and you get exactly as much as you want. This place is awesome. From the outside it looks a bit decrepit but don't let that fool you. This is a no frills place with fantastic cajun food. We got a large order of boiled crawfish that were full of flavor and had just the right amount of spice. The gumbo is some of the best I've ever had. I drive 20 minutes home and my order was wrong so I called and they said they would fix it and give me a free order of fries so I go all the way back up there and they give me a new poboy and the fries so I go all the way home again and I get home and my order is wrong again so I call and the guy said I don't want u mad at me I will sell u any food u want half price tomorrow and I'm like no I paid 12$ for this sandwich i don't want to pay for more food I want my sandwich fixed and he's like no we are closing in 30 minutes can't help come back tomorrow and buy some more food. I had a craving for some good boiled snow crabs and Keith's did not disappoint! I don't know how or what they did to infuse the crabs with so much flavor in the 10 minutes I waited (since the crabs were cooked to order), but they were absolutely delish! The owners were super nice and let us in on the fact that they are relatives of the owner's of Cajuns Seafood in New Orleans and in fact used the same "Boil" recipe. This is the only place in Slidell I'll be going for my boiled seafood from now on! read more
