This is a very easy and pleasant review to post. Went to a Keke's for the first time in a long time today. Left wondering why have we been gone so long? The answer and part is that we moved, but given how wonderful the service was today, no reason not to come back real soon. Easy easy ride. First, I'd like to start off by recognizing our server. Anabela is phenomenal. She is so positive so attentive, so friendly and so knowledgeable of the menu. We will definitely ask for her again. Let's get to the food - it was delicious. Like it has always been at various Keke locations. I had avocado toast to which I added a single well cooked egg. It came out just like I asked for. It was delicious and the portion was huge. In fact, I could only eat half. Part of that is probably due to the fact, I also ordered a side of bacon, which also was delicious. And five of the small pancakes, which were even better. Listennn I really like this place. Would go after exams or on a celebratory weekend with my friends. The food is great, they don't miss and the portions are satisfying. I did find a bug in my food one time out of the many times I've been there. They refunded my food though but took it away, so I only got to each half my sandwich and then was left with nothing. The breakfast options are solid, lunch as well. You can't go wrong with any of the picks to be honest. Reservations are best on typically busy days like holidays or sunday, but otherwise I usually walk in and get seated immediately. Keke's Breakfast Cafe so far has never let me down. They have good breakfast and lunch menu and the portions are generous and they all taste decent. They also serve hot coffee that is refillable. I have been to a couple of different locations and so far all the staff from hostesses to servers seemed friendly and welcoming. The place is kept clean and if something is not, they will clean it up for you right away. Time and time again, I enjoyed their welcoming atmosphere and I appreciate them serving food while it's still hot. If you haven't tried Keke's Breakfast Cafe yet, please give it a try. It seems to be a franchise and the quality is decent and consistent wherever you go. It's a light breakfast and lunch place for sure, but if don't mind light breakfast or lunch go for it! Best breakfast always at Keke's. You can never go wrong with Keke's. Excellent service by the staff always attentive and friendly. No wait time and order was placed right away. They serve you coffee promptly and coffee refills non stop which is perfect for this coffee lover. Their French Toast was really fluffy loaded with fresh fruit and lots of cinnamon flavor simply the best French toast out there. Their Belgian waffles and Blueberry pancakes are some of their menu favorites that you may want to try. Keke's is a casual family-friendly spot. Many locations offer booth seating and cheerful decor. I've been to the location in Boca Raton and that location in particular is always packed. At this location, I didn't feel rushed and took my time enjoying my breakfast as it wasn't peak hours. The space is all right. I came here for brunch with a friend after a very busy weekend event. I ordered the eggs Benedict with grits and cheese on top which was cooked perfectly fine. And my friend got the spinach egg omelette with potatoes and toast. I only rate this place three stars because there was a table with a child with their iPad at max volume and none of the staff decided to notify the family or let them know to turn down the device due to indoor voices only. I didn't bother getting up and telling them to turn it down because they were located on the other side of the restaurant, but you could see all the eyes from the surrounding table just staring around, trying to get a glimpse of whose child is playing around with a device with no headphones on. read more

Great location with great customer service! I'm new to the Tampa area but I was near USF and saw this place as I was driving so I decided to stop by for a quick bite, and i'm so glad I did. The restaurant wasn't too busy so we were seated immediately and we were sat in a corner away from everyone so it wasn't loud at all. As for the food, it was great! The chocolate chip pancakes were ginormous and we got it in a combo so it came with a side of eggs and bacon. The florida waffle was soft and warm, and came with strawberries, bananas, and blueberries on top with chocolate sauce drizzled on top and it's served with a tall tower of whipped cream on the side. I prefer my waffles to be on the crispier side but I'm sure if I asked they would've been made to my liking so that's on me. I didn't try the veggie omelette but my mom seemed to be a fan of it. You get your choice of 3 vegetables to use in the omelette. I also got the breakfast wrap and that was the only thing I could say I was disappointed with. You also get to choose 3 vegetables you'd like in the wrap and it's served with a side of "homemade fries" which are the sliced potato pieces pictured. The wrap itself is a whole wheat tortilla which I wasn't a fan of. I prefer my eggs to be seasoned but it tasted bland and with the veggies I just felt like I was eating grass. The service was good, but I suspect our waitress might have forgotten to put my order in at first. My order came out last (much later) and when she noticed I didn't have my food she said she was checking on it - but it still took about 15 min to come out. I've worked in the industry before, so I understand that it happens! She was very nice and attentive to us still. Their coffee was so so so good! Eggs Benedict is my favorite, but this one was not one of my favorites. The eggs were overdone. They didn't really seem poached? Not sure, still tasty! But not one of the better ones I've had. My wife and I were looking for a breakfast restaurant nearby the Moffitt Cancer Center Hospital. This place was nearby so we decided to try it. The restaurant was full of empty booths, except for a couple tables. To their credit it was 9 am on a Weekday. My wife ordered Strawberry Cream Cheese filled French toast and a side of scrambled eggs which she said was delicious! I ordered 2 eggs sunny side up with a side of homestyle potato's which I ordered well done. The eggs were great, perfectly cooked but the waitress brought out potatoes that were so soggy and dripping with oil. Absolutely disgusting. The waitress did offer to replace it with fruit instead. The service was great and very inviting and the menu was loaded with options, the food truly exceeded our expectations. We both ordered the same exact thing which was the combo option. I had the Nutella and Banana stuffed French toast. While I did enjoy it, I did not like how much powdered sugar was on them. My dad had the same gripe about his Apple Cinnamon French toast. He also felt that there wasn't much apple filling as he expected. My mother had the Western Omelette. She enjoyed it, though she wished there was less onions and peppers. I, personally, thoroughly enjoyed her omelette, but, to each their own. Our server was nice and polite. She forgot to give us our utensils, but that was the only mistake she made. Was a little skeptical at first about going. As we entered the building, we were greeted with smiles and great hospitality. Looked over the menu and placed our order and breakfast. We stopped late morning and the main reason I like it is because I can get lunch and my husband gets breakfast. Service was very good. He was totally attentive with our decaf coffee and other requests. I opted for the grilled Buffalo chicken wrap and fries. The food came out quickly and presentation was great. Buffalo chicken is one of my favorite things, but this one was so spicy hot it wasn't enjoyable. There wasn't a lot of chicken, which was maybe good since it was so spicy, but it was a disappointment. The fries were super hot, but cooked on the outside, not inside. I'm not sure how this is possible. I have eaten breakfast at least 6 times at a Keke's near our home, and enjoyed the experience every time. However, my dining experience at the Kiki's this location was very different and disappointing. Both the food and service fell far shot of the experience at the Riverview location. Our server did the bare minimum and the food was barely adequate. I ordered the Southwest Omelette with home fries. The potatoes were barely warm and they were greasy. The omelette was extremely thin and the pepper jack cheese was virtually non existent. If not for the very hot (spicy) salsa, the omelette would have no flavor at all. read more

To say I wasted my money for a meal was an understatement. As I was staying with family at the hospital across the street, I decided to grab some brunch after seeing the good reviews and amazing photos online. After walking across and placing an order for the blueberry & cream cheese stuffed French toast, I sat down inside and waited. The food took about 20 minutes to come out, which I understood as they were quite busy. Upon returning across the street, I opened the box and saw the most pitiful excuse for French toast I have ever seen. The portion was extremely small, and you could tell the bread had not been dipped in any egg whatsoever or any vanilla and/or cinnamon which is standard. The bread had just been thrown on the grill to brown and then had canned blueberry preserve and cream cheese spread in between and the two pieces sliced into four. I tried eating a piece to confirm and the bread was so dry that it was like eating soft dry cardboard with a thin layer of blueberry/cream cheese to try and save it. The blueberry was just plain old canned blueberry pie filled which was sad as well for the price. The fact that I paid $15 for what cost under $1 to make was ridiculous. Seeing the other reviews on it being a chain store make me think that this is a good chain but that stock or other locations photos were added to this location as the food was not even close to being as good as all the rest looked. I've been to a few Keke's while visiting Florida. The menu has a large variety so it is easy to keep the whole family happy. On this particular visit, I ordered an eggs benedict with regular bacon instead of Canadian bacon. Overall, it was pretty good. I really liked the breakfast potatoes that came with my food. The potatoes were sliced and pretty crispy. I was disappointed that my eggs weren't poached. They were way too cooked. Overall, I would still come back but would probably try other options.
