They are quite busy but have always tried to accommodate me as best as possible when I've shown up with out an appointment. My brother has been bringing his Jeep to Keller's to get his oil changed for the past 17 visits. Keller has a great coupon published for a discounted oil change, so he went there to get it completed. This last visit, Steve, the manager told him to stop coming. He told my brother this because he declined a 900 dollar brake job. 900 dollars for a brake job is extremely high, and how many of us would really drop 900 dollars same day, blind eyed without getting any other opinions. Regardless, I think telling a customer to stop coming to get their oil changes done at an oil change place, using a publicly available coupon is extremely rude and inappropriate. When I called to try to explain this to Steve, he told me that we were rude because WE were taking advantage of THEM? I've heard of people like Steve existing in car shops, but had never had to encounter one directly. I hope you heed this honest review and stop going to Steve and Keller. Finally found my shop in Parker. These guys are great. Single dad with limited income and I have an old Tacoma. I have been looking for a shop that will work with me and not try and upsell me with things that I don't need. These guys were great. I brought it in and told them my situation. They called me with quotes for used and new parts. I wanted used and they bent over backwards to make it happen. It took a few days, so they gave me a loaner car. I am in awe of how awful the service is. Two of the three times I've taken my car in for an oil change, I've walked in for my appointment, and they've told me that they didn't have me on the schedule. They didn't apologize. They just said "No. You're not in the system" as if I inconvenienced them by even asking. The first time, I just made another appointment for later in the day, because I'd already taken the afternoon off work and I figured it wouldn't happen again. I never have this problem with my dentist, doctor or anyone else, so I know I'm not absent-minded. My wife took our Suburban there for an alignment. Apparently when women walk in they must automatically think "stupid". They said she needed $1200 in repairs to do the alignment. They wouldn't give her an itemized list of what needed to be repaired. We normally go to Jacob's Service (for 10 years) up on Parker Rd near Mississippi but because of certain time constraints we decided to give them a try. I told her to refuse the service and that we would take it to Jacobs. We did. Jacobs found a linkage that needed to be replaced but also assured us that there was nothing that needed to be done to cost us anywhere near $1200. We left Jacobs with a bill of $480- alignment included. What upsets me the most is that Keller's would not give a detailed estimate that I could see. I know enough about automotive work to know when someone is not telling the truth. This one event is enough for us never to return. Jacobs once told us they would rather be honest and see us return for future service rather than screw us over and never see us again. read more

I just moved here from Washington state and was nervous to find a new mechanic and I needed the 60k service done to my car. I was referred to Keller's from the gentleman I bought my snow tires from. Everyone I talked to at Keller's was professional and friendly. When I dropped my car off, I mentioned a noise I was concerned about and they had someone ride along with me in the car to listen to it. I knew from previous quotes that the service could be anywhere from $100-350. Keller's came in way under, even with an oil change. I love taking my car to Keller's. My car was in for the 175,000 mile checkup. I was greeted with a smile and told the service on my car would take approximately 30 - 40 minutes. I explained the steering wheel had started making a noise on Thursday and was assured it would be resolved.. I went across the street for breakfast and relaxed knowing I would not have to worry. When I walked back in, I was greeted again with a smile and told my car was ready and the problem with the steering wheel was the fluid was low and they had filled it.. Also I went to two separate local auto parts stores: Napa premium rotors $52.51 and premium pads $75.99, Carquest rotors $55.99 and pads $77.99. Because of this and your inability to adjust your prices or price match and to work with me on these prices, you have lost a long time customer and any future referrals. I have been a long time customer and I have spoken highly of Kellers Auto in the past and now I can no longer do that. I try extremely hard to support our local businesses here in Parker and it actually saddens me that I will no longer be able to continue my patronage to Kellers. I am sure that Kellers will survive without my patronage but be sure to know that if I hear of anyone referring to Kellers for service I will make sure to tell them about this unfortunate experience. Never again!!! I took my 2006 Nissan Pathfinder here because the engine was rattling. I was told that the timing chain was loose due to failing tensioners. The engine was shot and I needed a new one. Interesting though because the car continued to drive fine without any loss of power, it was just rattling. Well they tried to sell me a used engine with 145k for $6500. The Kelley Blue Book value of this vehicle in good condition is not even $3k. You gotta be kidding me. Took it to another shop for a second opinion and they said absolutely not. They even told me that most local shops would not be able to make a repair such as this and they recommended we take it to the dealer as they would be better equipped to do the repairs the right way. I trusted this shop because why would they send us away and lose business to the dealer, plus I just knew my gut told me that the engine should be fine. Keller's has lost my respect and I hope anybody who reads this keeps this in mind. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY BUSINESS!!!! read more

Over the last few years, I've noticed that everytime I go to Keller's they try to "upsell" me on all kinds of repairs that they insist need to be done immediately. The last time, I took my car to a different mechanic ( see my 5-star review of Pride) and was told that Keller's was completely wrong. I followed Pride's advice and did not fix what Keller's said was wrong. That was 2 years ago, and the supposed "immediate" problem has never caused me any problems. read more

My car was finished at 12:30, not because it took them longer, but because the client ahead of me was late. I always use this shop because they are honest and fair. This time because the oil change took longer Steve, the Manager gave me my oil change for free saying that was the right thing to do as I was on time for my appointment. Received a coupon for an oil change so I thought I would give this place a try. I had some other issues that I wanted checked out so I inquired about them at check in. Keller's wanted 1 hour($130) to look at those problems. I let them do the oil change but not the service check. Like any shop they checked the vehicle for other needed repairs. I was told my front brakes had major damage and my radiator and water pump needed to be replaced. The quote was for over $3000. I took it to Goodyear on Arapahoe who had done my rear brakes before. They found nothing wrong with my front brakes but confirmed the radiator and pump issue. Breaking it down Keller's quote was 690 brakes 670 pump and 1300 radiator. Goodyear's quote was 1400 for the radiator and pump and all new hoses. I read all the reviews before going to Keller's and thought I could get an honest shop. This place will scam you for any work they can get. Makes sense why they have so many cars outside their shop. In a side note. I noticed my truck was unlocked when I picked it up so I walked through the parking lot. And noticed a few of the other cars were left that way. If they don't put your vehicle inside over night you can expect it to be broken into. They only care about their pocket. Now I wonder if they even changed my oil or just took my $30. read more

Do not go to Keller's. They completely tried to rip me off. After getting a quote for $999 for various repairs, we decided to take the car in to my dad's mechanic for a second opinion. Guess what he charged us? Zero dollars. He said NONE of the things Keller's said to get fixed had anything wrong with them. He adjusted a knob of some sort to fix a leak and charged us NOTHING. Beware of the Timing belt coupon. I got the coupon for the timing belt replacement, were they pay for the part and you pay for the labor (part is only about $80). Called to get a quote, and they told me $400. So made the appointment, and when they saw the car, they said they gave me a quote for the wrong engine, so it was going to be more like $650 for the labor (six hours). I said ok, and then got a call that I need all this additional work (water pump, pulleys, belt tensioner). Now it was going to cost $1150. After doing some research, it is always recommended to change those things out when you change your timing belt because it takes so much time (labor cost) to get to the timing belt that is easier to do those things so that they won't break and cost you another 6 hours of labor. But they didn't tell me this until they had already had my car dismantled. I had got a quote for another care place and they said the timing belt and water pump package for $750. I didn't get the water pump done, and they did work with me on the price, but I still paid $700, with the coupon, when I could have done the whole thing for $750. I just hope my water pump doesn't go out any time soon. Now I am not saying they did anything wrong, but after doing just a little research (which I should have done before), they should give you the quote of the timing belt and also tell you that most of the time these other things need to be replaced, and give you a quote on that. That is what I think a good business should do (and is what the other auto repair place did). If I would have known, I would have gone back to the other auto place and had the whole thing done for cheaper. So just beware on that timing belt coupon, it will probably cost you a lot more than the quote for just the timing belt. I won't be back. read more

Until now, I've been very pleased with Keller's service. Sadly that has all changed now because of my most recent experience. Extremely disappointed. Took my vehicle in for oil change service. The vehicle had an aftermarket oil drain plug. Keller knew this because they had performed the oil change in Nov. 2016 (with this aftermarket plug installed.) Back then, the oil change was done with no issues. However yesterday during the oil change, their mechanic backed out the drain plug too far and the nut on the inside of the oil pan fell off into the bottom of the pan. (Aftermarket plugs require a nut on the inside of the oil pan in order to be able to tighten the plug). Keller knew that's how aftermarket plugs are put together. The mgr told me the only option now was to replace the oil pan with a new one. He said with parts and labor it would cost $500. My frustration and disappointment lies with Keller not taking one iota of responsibility for causing the issue, as if it was somehow MY responsibility because the truck had an aftermarket plug? I'm not suggesting in any way they were reckless or careless. After all, mistakes DO happen. But they DID cause the problem. They can't deny that. In fact, the mgr flat out admitted they backed the plug out too far. And not only did he tell me the only option was a new oil pan, he didn't offer to pay for a mistake they clearly caused. He didn't offer to help with the cost whatsoever. So again, because it was an aftermarket plug, somehow they were not liable?? I figure it this way ... they knew about the plug ... if they didn't want to assume the risk they should have told me they wouldn't perform the oil change. I would have completely understood. But they agreed to do it, they made the mistake, they admitted the mistake, they denied any responsibility, and they conveniently passed the entire cost onto me. So while I was waiting for the repair, I got to thinking "hey, why couldn't they just drop the oil pan, retrieve the nut and re-tighten the plug, and re-mount the pan?". I spoke with the mgr and he said they could do that, but he didn't recommend it. I agreed that it was not the optimal solution, but it was an option that would at least save me $250 for a new oil pan. After all, that aftermarket plug had been there for years and we NEVER had issues with it. But just like our prior conversations, he did not offer to eat the labor cost to remove the pan, demonstrating once again they felt no responsibility for what they had caused. Later, as they were performing the repair, my wife called the mgr to press him to acknowledge responsibility for creating the issue but he would not accept one bit of it. What he did say though was that the actual labor was less than the "book" stated, and he would be able to "give us a break" on the cost on the labor. So yes, the total cost came down to $445, which we appreciated. But it felt to us like he was trying to play that cost reduction off as them giving us some kind of discount when in reality we paid full price for the new pan and we paid for ALL the labor that was performed, and they paid NOTHING. So where exactly was the "break" they gave us? Was it for not charging me for labor hours that were never performed?? Until this incident, I considered myself a loyal Keller Auto customer and had every intention of using them to perform all future service on all three of my vehicles. They seem like good guys. And perhaps they are. But I feel this issue was handled very very poorly by them. I found their unwillingness to take even the slightest amount of responsibility for a problem they caused very disheartening and disconcerting. I thought I had finally found a repair shop with integrity and honesty. I now have doubts about that notion. Had they simply "owned" the mistake and offered to fix it at their cost (or at the very least CONTRIBUTE to the cost), they'd have a customer for life. Instead they opted to cover their asses and save a few bucks in exchange for the loss of a loyal customer and any of my future business. Very sad and disappointing. read more

I received a great coupon for an oil change, so I tried this Keller's. They tried to sell me an oil filter even though I had just had it replaced. I chalked that up to being a woman and let it go. Today, I went to my usual place to get my next oil change. Keller's had stripped the oil drain plug and the mechanic wasn't able to remove it. After the pretty penny I paid to get the plug removed, the coupon obviously wasn't worth it. I'd avoid this place like the plague. read more

Do not - I repeat do not take your car to Keller's. I brought in a perfectly working vehicle for only an oil change. I drove literally out of the parking lot and less than a half a mile and could hear a ticking sound coming from the engine that had never been there before. My car then died two times on the way back. They took my vehicle right to the back where they proceeded to rev the engine multiple times and put me in a loaner car for the weekend. The loaner car then broke down on me at Walmart. I had to take $100 dollars in Uber charges out of my pocket. They then in turn called me to tell me that I needed a new Engine. They said they would not charge me for the labor but $5,700 for the engine. I took my vehicle out and took it to another shop. I am now out thousands of dollars because of what they did to my vehicle and they did not even offer a refund for my oil change or to pay my Uber costs. I will be filing a lawsuit against them. If you want to leave in a working vehicle do not take your car to Keller's as it will be ruined. They of course will not admit any fault. Horrible experience. Do not use them ever! read more

I called Monday to make an appointment to get an estimate on a car repair. I was told no problem, Thursday morning. Any certain time, I asked? No, just as early as possible, they open at 7. It snowed over night, so I didn't get here until 7:40. I was greeted nicely when I came in, but then it went down hill. I gave my name and said I had appointment. I reexplained the issue I'm having with my car, and the guy seemed to get irritated. It is an intermittent problem and the guy seemed mad that I don't know exactly what is wrong. He seemed angry that I was wasting their time and stated that if the problem I was experiencing didn't happen when they drove it they wouldn't be able to do anything. He said they were very busy, didn't know when they could get to me, and it might be all morning. I was offered a loaner car, so that was nice, but I said no thanks. I waited a couple of hours, but decided that the wait and diagnostic fee, plus the attitude wasn't worth it. In the end, I was pretty sure it was spark plugs, bought them myself and had them installed. I was right. I have had fine experiences with Keller's in the past, but this experience really upset me.(October visit) read more

I brought my truck in because it died while I was driving it. I had it towed To Kellers because I didn't have the time to look at it. After about three hours of diagnostics they called me and told me that they wanted to start with the timing belt, $1400! $1400?!?! Put my truck back , The tow truck is on its way to pick up. I found time to look at my truck. I did some basic testing, you know does it have fuel does it have spark... I found the gear on the distributor stripped. $50 later my truck is running just fine. After that all I could trust them for were oil changes. Today I go in for an oil change and they've doubled the price. They told me that the price of oil went up? And I thought, double the price? They must know how much I love being lied to. After the oil change was done, they informed me that the brakes were worn, the tires were at whatever they were at, and a couple of other miscellaneous things... Also that the ABS light was on. He said they would need over $100 for diagnostics. I asked him during the tire rotation if they noticed the wheel speed sensor cable had been cut? Hmmm.... over $100 for a diagnostic to tell me something that should've been real obvious to a mechanic, or anybody with eyes! I will never go back to Kellers! And I suggest if you take your car to Kellers, you take it somewhere else and get a second opinion as well. read more

I was very happy with Keller's when I first started taking my car there for oil changes. At that time the oil changes were very low cost and everyone at the business was friendly and helpful. NOT ANYMORE! Their prices, what is allegedly wrong with my vehicle and their obnoxious attitudes (Jerry!) have increased significantly. I purchased four expensive all-weather tires and they're absolute junk! I've had four near-flat tires with them; I've never had that many near-flats with any of the other sets of tires I've purchased in my entire life! I had complained several times about oil leaks on my garage floor and each time Keller's told me a different story: they said they checked it out and either found where the oil had been overfilled causing the leaks, or the guy who changed the oil was just a kid and didn't clean up after himself, etc. etc. etc. Sensing I was becoming agitated, this last time they purportedly took things apart and - wowie! - they suddenly discovered $1,300+ worth of work that was allegedly needed! It was worth the $100+ fee they charged me to learn Keller's isn't trustworthy. Their prices are too high, their workmanship stinks and their attitudes are as lousy as their business practices! If you want to keep your car running smoothly, do NOT take your car to Keller's! read more
