Me and Barkley at the Beach Sr Patrick's weekend

I went to this place at St. Patrick's Day to have corn beef and cabbage and shepherds pie and listened to some great music. It was quite an adventure. The service was great and the music was great and we all had a wonderful time. We stayed there till they close, which is pretty unusual for a bunch of us old ladies we really appreciated all the hospitality and getting to know lots of new people that night. We have been there since for a few drinks and it is a nice cozy place to sit outside.

Came in on a Friday afternoon. Pretty empty customer wise. Staff were attentive. We sat at the bar and started a conversation with the owner. We said we like bourbon, but she let us sip some Irish whiskeys that were amazing. Redbreast is where it's at my friends. So smooth, flavorful, without the burn. Corned beef soup was to die for. I would bathe in it. Mac n cheese was creamy but with a bite from the cheddar cheese. So delightful. Stop in if you have the chance. Great atmosphere and they have music most nights. Also an extensive whiskey selection. Check it out!

Good service. Spacious. Dinner food option available. It's in downtown so it's down street parking or parking lots. Live music on Saturdays.

Wow! I only paid $16 for these at Happy Hour! That's a damn good deal. Irish Stout and Pretzel with Cheese Sauce and Mustard. Amazing and simple as one. Very spacious atmosphere and bar. Brighter ceiling lights than the one in Seattle. Bartender was direct and professional. Thank goodness! I would ate here again!

Good music, ambiance and food. Drinks were mixed up a couple of times, but might have been due to the soda tap. Food and snacks are tasty!

My boyfriend and I went for happy hour and enjoyed the pretzel and smash burger. We also ordered the classic sausage roll, that lives up to the hype. For my first time in, it was a wonderful experience :)

We came in on Valentine's Day to get a quick snack and some cocktails before our dinner reservations and we were thoroughly impressed! The owner was making sure all the guests were happy and even though it was busy the staff was very polite and friendly. The sausage roll was seriously delicious!

great service and I love the live band, highly recommend! also fries are great! beautifully decorated for the holiday season! a little slow around the holidays but live band makes up for it.

They have NA beers including Guinness and Heineken as well as soft drinks.

The last couple of times I've been to Kells have been for large group events accommodated in a private space. Kells has always been fun and I'm surprised how well the private spaces always work out. The catered food was good and I was excited that there were a couple of near-beer options. Service was excellent. I'd like to come back again for some music sometime and enjoy the main bar area.

Came in to this establishment with high hopes and got let down. When first entering my friend and I were greeted right away by a very friendly gentleman. We were told we can sit wherever we like, so we did. After that we were given our menus by a second person who seemed very uninterested in her job which was unpleasant. My friend and I are bar hopping downtown so I only ordered a cocktail and my friend just had her water. The bartender seemed offput by only having one drink and no food ordered which set the tone for the rest of our visit. There was barely anyone in the restaurant and we were only checked on three times in a span of over an hour. There was supposed to be live music but the overall setting of the bar just wasn't what we were expecting.

Old school Irish pub. We came in for a Guinness and we were greeted by dashing ladies eager to give us one. The inside of this spot was that of an old Irish tavern and looked to be super old. Instead of a Guinness, we had a Kells Stout and it was incredible! They brew all of their beers and I want to try them all! Normally, we would get a Reuben or Shepards pie, but I am a sucker for BBQ pulled pork. Smacked! With the slaw on top, you can't go wrong.

Service was outstanding, but the live music wasn't good on 8/9/25. John Denver songs. Total bummer.

Popular spot for St. Patty's Day, where they host a Festival and have live music. Beers are not cheap though fair warning

If you're ever in the downtown area and have an appreciation for cigars then this is the place to…read morego to. Walking through those double glass doors, you can see the crazy inventory and supply of cigars they carry and wouldn't doubt if there's more in the back. It's a pretty wide and open space and there's some seating to smoke a cigar inside if you so desire. I went in needing to find some maduros for my dad as a gift and we were able to find a few at different price points so I could makeshift my own tasting box. The staff here is pretty straightforward and to the point which is nice. I had gotten some advice on cigars priced around $10 a piece, $25 a piece, and $45 a piece. Grabbed a few at each price point and knew that this gift would be a super solid one for my dad. After I inquired about the duration for transporting them on a flight, they came to the rescue with a mobile humidor packet to keep them in tip top shape. My time here had me feeling like I was back at my great grandpa's with all the tchotchkes one could possess. Towards the entrance was a large pile of cigar boxes that their inventory came in and they sell them as storage or gift boxes. Every box came from different makers and consisted of wood, tin, and everything in-between. With the help of a friend, she was able to help me find a Rocky Patel Box that was perfect. All in all - this is one spot worth checking out for sure!!

We got back in to town right at the peak of the parade and lights celebration Saturday. To say it was chaotic would be an understatement. Since roads were closed, the road to my hotel was of course blocked off. So during the first go around we couldn't get to where we needed to be and went instead on a one mile circle which then led is to an area where the guy blocking the road was nice enough to let us through after we told him my hotel was where he was. What a blessing that was indeed because we found a parking spot right across from my hotel. My friend had an hour to kill before she could check in to her hotel since the road was still closed on that side. We lucked out finding two seats right at the bar as soon as you walk in. It was first come first serve and they were busy. Lots of people were trickling in from the festivities to have a drink or two. I got the cucumber cocktail. It was so good I made my friend have a sip. As what usually happens, we ended up making friends with the two ladies next to us who were parade participants representing mardi gras. The hour breezed by so quickly. It was such a fun time I completely forgot to take photos. Hotel guests get 15% off their tab.

Came in for happy hour for a birthday, and I would say, get there right at 4, like hard 4, as they fill up. I "know" they don't take reservations, but I did call ahead and just friendly warn, and Claudia, thank you, was so nice and gave folks a heads up. Had a fabulous time. Would recommend to anyone who likes good places, fun people and great drinks. I mean, champagne cocktails on happy hour?! Yes, however none traditional, but sell me the rhubarb one all day. My only thing, I would say it was difficult to get parking validated or use the ADA elevator, as the birthday man is having some stair challenges. Had to run up the stairs to ask to run it, maybe we just keep it open? Anyways, love! Not the bar's issue, just saying.

Parking was difficult as it was all street parking and we were unable to find any spots that felt safe within a few blocks so we parked in a parking garage and walked a few blocks. The bar is cute and tiny with energetic music playing and friendly bartenders. It is a bit hard to carry a conversation here so you really have to be in close quarters with the other person. The drink menu has many awesome rum drink choices and they do have a 4-7 pm weekday happy hour. Drink prices are on par with other bars that serve cocktails and on average about $15. They have food and snacks, which I did not get but looked like a decent option. They also have a small outside seating area. It was a great vibe and I notice a wide age group there. I asked the bartender how long they've been around and they said 15 years. I can't believe I haven't been here before. That do charge a 3% credit card fee so cash is king. I would definitely like to come back and try some of their other rum drinks. It does feel like they might be a little too heavy handed in the ice but the drinks are delicious and you can taste the rum in a good way.
