Every so often one comes across a fabulous company, and I had that pleasure this morning. Our regular appliance repair company quit working on our brand of dishwasher, Asko (known for their quiet). They recommend Kelly's. I called, got an appointment within two days and found everyone I interacted with friendly, professional and service focused! Then, this morning, my first woman technician came. She gave me a 5 minutes heads up with a friendly call. She was confident, friendly, professional...and best of all she was a woman!! She diagnosed the problem, fixed and and then explained to me how to avoid it in the future. We have officially switched to Kelly's for all appliance repair. Our oven stopped working and after having a bad experience with another appliance repair company, I did some research and decided to call Kelly's. Dane and Shawn were great. They diagnosed the issue and promptly fixed it. They turned the oven on multiple times before leaving and it lit every time. Fast forward to five hours later... My husband went to use the oven and unfortunately it was up to it's old tricks. No heat and a continuous clicking sound. We were so frustrated. I called Kelly's the next day and to make a long story short... 1. I talked to Dane personally and we figured out what it might be. 2. Parts were ordered and I got a date on the calendar for them to come back. 3. They were super clear that what I paid for during their first visit would go towards this visit and I was only paying for the parts. 4. The day of their visit, they were AWESOME! They not only fixed the problem...they didn't need the part that was ordered, so they didn't charge me for the visit!!! Dane and Shawn were patient with all of my questions, very detail oriented, cleaned up their mess and most importantly were honest and stood by their work and didn't charge me for the second visit. Joe did a great repair job on my ten year old Whirlpool Fridge. The condensation drain tube was clogged, causing water to pool up and freeze on the bottom of the unit. He took the freezer drawer off to get to the lower back panel to defrost all the ice. He protected my hardwood floor and kept the work space clean along the way. He put it all back together with skill. Joe informed me of what he was doing and why during the critical steps (admittedly I'm geeky about mechanical stuff) and let me know that I have a three month warranty on this repair! Wore mask and shoe covers Told me I didnt need to move anything from under my sink for a dishwasher installation. Proceeded to use MY towel to mop up leakage during install. Then put the dirty wet towel ON THE COUNTER. All done and dishwasher works great, but under the sink floods though. When I tell my rental agency and they reach out to Kellys appliance, the response is 'some leakage is normal, watch it for a day or two, should go away''. Well FINE but couldnt he have told me to move my stuff and watch for leakage?! Irritating. Dishwasher now working well and sink isnt leaking.... but I was not impressed. read more

We had a dryer that was squeaking like crazy (whirlpool purchased 2016) and debating fix vs replace. Kelly's was the only place I found locally that applied the original service call fee to the total bill. I got a quick appointment, the service tech that came out, Bianca, was so nice and so professional and got the job done within an hour. She explained everything to me and showed me all of the parts that she was replacing and why. Replaced all the moving parts and saved me about $400 cost difference between buying a new washer and repairing this one when you consider that there's taxes, delivery fee, installation fee, and take the old dryer away fee on a new model. But from the get-go this company was so nice starting from booking the appointment with Laura and then having Bianca come out and fix it so quickly. First time using Kelly's appliance to repair my Electrolux washing machine. I had made the mistake of washing a rug with a backing that totally disintegrated in the wash clogging the drain. I am a DYI guy, but even with Youtube I thought this repair a little more than I wanted to tackle on my dishwasher. After speaking with a very courteous person on the phone, we made an appointment for three days away. I awaited a call on the day of the appointment. I would have like to get the call sooner in the day for better planning of my day ( Just an FYI) I was contacted about 12:30 pm of there pending arrival. Dane and Joe arrived ( both wearing mask) and politely introduced themselves. I gave them my (youtube) evaluation of the problem which was confirmed after they did a coded verification of the issue. Even though it did not say exactly the problem ( Pump failure of some sort) Danes experience said that these indicators still pointed toward that and they went ahead with the replacement. Just like suspected that was the problem Joe was apprenticing Dane but he did most of the replacement under Danes supervision with very little guidance needed. I was able to watch the whole operation ( DYI guy interest) and even pick Danes brain on this. They were very efficient with their time and had installed and back together with no issues. So far it is going strong and I hope to get another 5 years out of this pump. Thank you both for the strong work, I think Joe is going to be a great addition to this team. read more

The refrigerator 'died' or so we thought because the refrigerator and freezer were not cooling. I called Kelly's and spoke with Mark who squeezed us in at the end of the day for a modest emergency fee. I called this company a month ago for a part on my LG washer. They sent out a 20 year old boy who knew nothing stayed for a couple of hours and then said I have to go back to my office and talk to someone... They set up another appointment 12 to 5 ..five hours. I waited for them to come no phone call, I finally called them and they said unfortunately your tech called in sick, no one's coming... They never called me. They never kept me in the loop. I will never use this company again... Worst company ever! read more

Unfortunately my washer needed a repair that made more sense just to replace it. Dane took the time to explain the pros and cons of front loading vs top loading washers. My dishwasher door needed replacement of the mechanism that allows it to open without flopping to the floor. The part cost $20.00. The technician spent less than 20 minutes replacing it. The labor charge was $192.99. I assume that is the hourly charge. A bill of $215.00 for a twenty dollar part seems very high. I realize that the bill also covers travel time and that the company is about 10 miles away, but I assume the company schedules visits for several customers in one locale on the same day, and this was not an emergency visit. read more

I called to have an igniter replaced in my stove. I was charged $80 and labor at $90. Ok...but the additional "service fee" was $129. I was told this fee was to "diagnose" the problem. Most appliance repair people just diagnose, then charge parts and labor. I feel like I was charged the $129 as a gouge excuse for them to make more money. Go elsewhere if you need appliance repair and see if you can find a more honest company. read more
