I really love this place I'm not gonna lie. I love the decor and the ambiance it can't be beat. I've had some good experiences and some not so good. The not so good is usually because it's too small of a place to be super crowded especially the locker room area and the lounges. There should be a maximum amount of people being booked at one time. It's not fun or relaxing when there's a ton of people having to scoot around each other just to walk. I've had many treatments here and the massages and facials are the best. However I would say those are the only two things worth the outrageous price. Do not get eyebrows, nails or pedicure here. It's way overpriced and they do just as good a job at mom and pop shops if not better. They really skimp on the foot massage during a pedicure I think I got maybe two minutes on each foot. The reflexology massage is not a massage at all it's just someone pressing on you in different spots for 50 mins. Definitely will never pay 120$ for that again. The scrubs I enjoyed a lot but overpriced for what you get. You're paying for the ambiance for sure so it's great for a once in a while treat but for regular massages I will continue to go to my local massage place which does the same Swedish massage that this place does except it's only 39$. read more

I have had several treatments here & recently purchased the membership, money well spent. 5 star service all the way! Wether it's the person who answers the phone ( who has always been very polite, helpful & full of information ), the receptionists at check in / check out, the entire staff is amazing! I'd like to give a big recognition to Patty the attendant for the ladies locker room & waiting area. She is always beyond pleasant & an overall joy which has made each one of my visits that much better. I wish I could remember the names of every person who's given me a treatment because they've all been wonderful! Monica has done my facials a couple times & she's fantastic! Today I did the Hot Cinnamon Facial w Adrianna & I feel like a million bucks & my skin is glowing! Do yourself a favor & wether you're staying here at the hotel or just coming out for some pampering, try Kelly's Spa. ZERO STARS IF I COULD PUT THAT! Went in with a bridal party (8 girls) we had originally reserved for 12 but had to cancel 4 reservations. I called several times to ask the policy and was told that I would need to call 72 hours before if the entire bridal party cancelled and if it was a few girls I would just need to call 12 hours before. So I call 17 hours before and tried to cancel 4 services and Sierra or Sienna (not sure) told me that I would be charged because I needed to call 72 hours before so I explained to her what I was told so she put me on hold and spoke to her manager than told me I couldn't make changes because I didn't make the reservation. So I told my friend to call and she made the changes we needed and was told we could only cancel 3. Whatever we worked with it...so now it's spa day we check in 4 girls at a time. After my massage I sit down and a lady comes in asking for Carol so we told her not part of our party. So I go to the front desk and Alyssa tells me that we had confirmed 10 services so since carol didn't show we would be charged for that service. I explained to her that we didn't have a reservation for a Carol that we didn't even know a carol and she said we would still need to pay it because we called the day before and confirmed 10 services, WHAT THE HECK,Like really?! Luckily I had an email confirmation with all our girls names and service times and I forwarded it to Alyssa to see that we did not know a Carol. And still she had the nerve to say she would look it over and let me know if we would be charged. At that point I was so annoyed i just walked away and tried to enjoy the rest of my spa day. In the end she said we wouldn't be charged. Thank God for that email. Overall the massage was good, the front desk is what ruined the experience because of them I will definitely not be back and will share my story. read more

I can't begin to explain my complete satisfaction after visiting Kelly's spa. It's truly something you have to experience for yourself but I'll give it a try... After my sister (who was visiting from WA) and I gained access to the spas locker room we were greeted by Alex the spa attendant. As always she was so very accommodating, kind, & helpful. She checked in on us as we waited for our services as well as when we were departing to make sure everything went smoothly. I hope to see her the next time I visit. While we were at the spa we received a couples (Sista's) massage from Marissa and Cynthia. Oh my gosh let me tell you it was amazing! They both put us at ease with their kind disposition and then almost put us to sleep with their amazing massage skills. I will definitely be booking another massage with Marissa and my sister already wants to return when she visits again. We also had the Anti-Aging facial and are very happy with the healthy glow results. I highly recommend Kelly's spa to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. read more

I brought my best friend to the Mission Inn for a girl's getaway before she had her first baby Our expectations were high for Kelly's Spa, however, the experience itself fell a bit short. First off, I want to say that both of our massages were great. I had a 50 minute Swedish with Nate who is amazing and my friend had the maternity massage. The main problem with this spa is that employees don't enforce the etiquette that is expected in a relaxing environment. There were people talking loudly in the hallway while I was getting my massage, there is a patio outside of the first relaxation room where a large group of noisy women were sitting. We went to the second relaxation room where a woman was talking on her cell phone despite the "no cell phone" policy. I went to the front desk to let them know and their response was, "Well is she being loud?" She wasn't whispering, I can tell you that! When we returned to the second relaxation room later on, the same group of loud women from the patio kept walking in and out and speaking at volumes not appropriate for a spa. We really felt like we had to search for moments of peace and quiet. Maybe we've been spoiled by Burke Williams and their strict noise policy. I honestly don't know if I can justify coming to this spa again when Burke Williams costs about the same, has more amenities, and encourages (and reinforces) proper etiquette amongst their guests. I also wish I didn't have to see Kelly's face plastered all over everything! read more

I spent a lovely morning at Kelly's Spa. If the weather had cooperated, I would have stayed longer. I wasn't able to take advantage of the pool etc. However, this is a top notch, high end spa! A little pricier than most other spas, but worth it. I had the Coastal Stone Therapy Massage and the lavendar bath. We arrived 30 min. before our appointment to give us an opportunity to enjoy our complimentary glass of champagne and our chocolate truffle. The relaxation room was lovely and very relaxing. My massage therapist was great, I'l definately ask for her when I go again. The villas, where I was given my massage was elegant and relaxing. I was able to hear the water fall/fountain and birds chirping while getting my massage. The massage tables actually lift and conform to your body, rather than having pillows stuffed under your knees! The villas are off of the small courtyard so there are no "bypassers" and noise. The locker room, restroom and steam room (eucalyptus) are very well kept and very classy, although they are a little small. Their robes are so soft and cozy too! Valet parking is free when you stay at the hotel OR are visiting the spa, even for the day. An excellent way to start off my "staycation". read more

My husband and I have been customers at Kelly's Spa for many years. Our last time there we were celebrating Valentine's Day with a couple's massage. We used to be able to pick the scent of the lotion they used while performing the massage, however, this time we were told that was no longer an option. That would have been fine if they have used a nice spa-like fragrance, like lavender, but instead they used something that smelled like chocolate cake. I know this may sound like a joke but it really did! I thought it was just me but my husband said the same thing. The two of us felt overwhelmed by the smell the whole time we were having the massage. I'm not sure how they decide what scent to use in their lotion but that was definitely the wrong one. I believe the massages are pricey enough for them to afford to give their customers options on the scent of the lotions they used. We were both very disappointed with our last visit and now we are wondering if we should ever go back there again read more

I was in the need of some pampering so I thought I would try this place. I showed up and instantly loved the valet parking service. When I arrived I was greeted and showed around. I went on a week day and had the place to myself. Very Nice. Get there early to really enjoy the amenities. I got there an hour early and I am glad I did. I enjoyed the eucalypti shower a lot. Also I really appreciated the up to date magazine selection they had in their relaxation room. I hate when spas/beauty salons have old raggedy magazines from 2 years ago. Nothing beats this months copy of cosmo with a glass of champagne and chocolates. The service I chose was the facial. I am plagued by millia and dark circles under my eyes. They didnt have a facial that specialized in that so I was hoping that I could get some add ons to help with those. Unfortunately they loose a star because they didnt really seem to have anything to help me and these are not uncommon problems. The esthetician was nice I just wish she could have done a little more. When it was over I didnt want to leave. I almost couldnt. For some reason one of the computers wouldn't accept my card which was handled really embarrassingly. Instead of thinking it was computer error, the girl helping me instantly assumed my card was not valid. I had my emergency credit card in my car which had been valet parked and she called them to bring my car so I could get something to pay with. It was cleared up but because of the humiliation I am taking another star off. All in all though, this was a pretty nice way to spend my day read more

I find it amazing when you can go to a spa all day for a facial and a couples massage in a private villa! Then go relax by the pool for drinks and snacks, then take a dip in the jacuzzi. Finish off the day with the steam room, the showers are private and staff are so nice and serving your every need. Recommend all wife's take your husband for a couples getaway day!! On my second visit a year later, I scheduled an 80 massage and once again was impressed with the therapist. Jocelyn was amazing! Best first experience ever! We did the enchanted couples package. It included all day access to their pool and steam room. They give you a robe and sandals to use. There's a lounge area with little snacks and comfortable seats to relax. There nice fruit water and healthy snacks. There's an outdoor patio. It's so romantic with all the lights! The private is romantic and incredible. Has a tub and shower and restroom. The masseuses were really friendly and helpful with tips since it was our first time. It was a 80 min Swedish massage. Mixture of light and medium touch. They massaged all over the body. They do ask if there are certain areas on the body to focus on as well. They dimmed the lights and had peaceful music on. They really made sure that we were comfortable as well. Afterwards they brought us chocolate covered strawberries and water and champagne! Our masseuses were named Carrie and Rose! Overall it's pricey but WELL WORTH IT! read more

Very disappointed in spa manager Whitney. I'm sure everyone has a sob story about why they missed their spa appointment. But after one of the worst weeks of my life I was going to spa-away all the drama at Kelly's Spa on 2-10-17. That was the plan until my engine nearly caught fire and left me stranded on the 215-South in the cold rain waiting for a tow truck. I always book an 80-minute and always tip at least 20%. Hoped Whitney would show some compassion and allow me to rebook without being charged an extra $180. Wishful thinking. Meh. The ambiance was nice but the facial was probably the worst I've ever had. I booked the enzyme facial -- I've had similar facials at other spas and have had great results. This one did absolutely nothing for me. The mask with the enzymes was not strong enough, and when I told the aesthetician that I couldn't really feel it (it's supposed to sting a little bit - that's how you know it's working!), she made absolutely no effort to make the mask stronger or to suggest other things that might provide better results. Unless you're there for the ambiance only, I would skip a facial at this place. read more

Now, when you call for information or appointments - they can't wait to transfer your call to just get you off the phone! And, it's crazy to try to order a gift card. You get bounced all over and they don't know their own policies. Bad management -- $20 to $35 just to mail a gift card. That's insane. It is a beautiful spa, however, one staff in particular named Amy was extremely rude. Amy was unfriendly, impolite, and unhelpful. I was there with a group and we had to ask for everything, not once did Amy come to see if we were okay or needed anything. We kept having to go to the front to ask for drinks or to order the cupcakes and she acted as though we were bothering her. She was argumentative with one of my friends, to the point that my friend said she would have to talk to the manager. Me and my friends were disappointed by the poor treatment from the staff member which in turn put a damper on our day. read more

I would not like to see what type of massage she gives if you ask for a medium massage. Also, at the end they ask you how much you want to tip in front of other customers. This is truly the best spa I've ever been to. My friends took me to Kelly's a few years ago for a bachelorette party. It was phenomenal! First, they take you to the swanky locker room/ladies lounge for you to change into one of their luxurious robes. While in there, you can go into the eucalyptus steam room to cleanse your pores (and sinuses!). Inside the locker room, there are private restrooms and showers. There are a few lounge areas to read a book/magazine while waiting for your service. While in the lounge, they serve you bottled water, hot tea, fruits and nuts. I have had the full body scrub and rose petal bath a few times. I took my hubby there and he was skeptical/nervous, but relaxed once he went into the steam room. We had the couples massage - the two of you go into a private poolside room, beautifully decorated with soft music playing and two masseurs give you a 50 minute full body massage. Inside this room, there is also a roman bathtub and shower (you can use if you get the couples 1/2 day package). The staff is extremely attentive and very caring. This place exemplifies amazing customer service and amazing service. I was gifted a massage from this location while in SoCal on my birthday. The place was somewhat difficult to find on GPS. Once I did arrive, I was greeted properly & warmly by the woman at the reception desk where I completed the required forms. Once compete I was whisked by another staff member to become familiarized with the property and have any questions addressed. I chose my waiting area where I was ordered unlimited amounts of champagne, chocolate & fresh fruits. I must say the design of the property is interesting in a good way. Shortly after finishing what felt like my 3rd glass of champagne I was greeted my the masseuse, Jocelyn. Who was absolutely amazing being personable, bubbly and respectful of my privacy. I asked for a firm massage which she did a great job at while constantly asking if was comfortable. Once complete she too gave me another tour of the property & offered me more refreshments while I enjoyed the amenities of the property. I hung out for another hour after while feleling, secure & at home the entire time. I would absolutely recommend this place to any and everyone. read more

Recently went to Kelly's Spa, with a friend, for facials. Staff was friendly and helpful. I chose to have the rejuvenation facial. All seemed well until the day after when I woke up to a swollen and red face. My skin felt like sand paper. I waited a day, hoping it would go away, but the following day it was still the same. I made contact with the Spa and later received a call from manager Alex. Explained to her the situation and talked about what I should do to remedy the situation. We talked about applying ice and lots of moisturizer. I did do that and Alex called the next day to follow up. I advised her that I felt it was a bit better. A few days later I received a message from Matt, apparently Head of Security, at the Mission Inn. He left a message requesting I call him back. Left him a message. That was over a week ago, no returned call. I'm just wondering what security, at the Inn, has to do with a reaction to a facial. Did not steal anything..... Future customers always check with staff and ask if the particular treatment has caused any issues for anyone. I did not follow this advice!!!!! read more

I was super excited to try this spot but was seriously disappointed. I initially called to set up a massage but wasn't sure which massage or treatment I wanted to get. I had told the receptionist that I wasn't quite sure of which services I wanted to receive but she said she would put me down for a Swedish massage and that I would be able to change it when I got there. I thought this was a little strange but I agreed and I came to my appointment 30 mins prior only to be told that I wouldn't be able to have my appointment changed and that I'd be charged an amount of $70 if I did. I told the receptionist and the manager and they basically said they couldn't do anything about it and that I had to get the Swedish massage that day. Trying not to make a bigger deal out of it, I agreed then was asked which complimentary drink I wanted included in the massage. I chose the champagne and chocolate but never received them. The waiting area, locker room, bathroom, and massage was fine, but nothing incredible. I would come back to try a facial but probably wouldn't book a massage again. Loved Kelly's !!! I go to the Mission Inn quite often and stay there too even though I'm a local. My husband and I also had our wedding dinner at Duane's. I can't believe I never booked a massage there!! I loved the ambiance and staff in the back was very, very helpful. They were quick to offer tea, water and towels. The front staff however was not too professional. I had been in minutes ago and was there for a while when my sister arrived and I wanted to show her the place so she could book a future massage. I was immediately told "NO" unless I had a room key. The girl acted liked she had never seen me and asked if I had an appointment. I thought this was deliberately rude because she just saw me pay. Well long story short she almost ruined my entire experience due to her impoliteness. Oh and ask for Nathan if you want the best massage and avoid the front counter as much as possible! read more

Kelly's Spa is a beautiful facility. The interior is lovely and the service is great. They have everything you could ask for in spa, but it is a little bit on the small side. My massage therapist was very sweet, but I would rate the massage itself as okay with 3 stars. I don't like that they use lotion rather thank massage oil, and the massage therapist used so much that it made me cold and it just felt ick. It is a nice place to try once if you live in the area or if you're a guest at the hotel, but I wouldn't see someone becoming a regular. read more

My mom and I went here today for the March special pedicure, which was 30 minutes with a massage and scrub with polish, and included a cupcake from Casey's cupcakes next door for $49. I love the Mission Inn, and have patronized the restaurants here, but I have never been to this spa before. Everything inside is beautiful and welcoming, and all staff, including the front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and willing to do anything for you. Even though we just had a pedicure, we were still able to take full advantage of all spa ammenities. We got lockers which had our spa robes and slippers ready. Ammenities included a Eucalyptus steam room, relaxation rooms with tea, fruit, and cucumber/lemon infused water for the taking, and access to the pool and spa. In addition, you have a choice of a special spa drink. My mom got champagne with truffles, and I got the detoxify drink and the energize drink, which were both very good. I didn't expect this to be part of our pedicure special at all, so it was a nice surprise, especially since the limit was two spa drinks but they kept offering us more! The pedicure itself was very nice, and they placed my mom and I, each with our own technicians in a private room just for the two of us! There are no massage chairs with massaging tubs like most of the storefront nail spas have, but the chair was full of plush pillows and the bath for our feet was still warm and relaxing even without the bubbles. The excellent service was extended even further when the front desk man offered to call the valet for us, and our car was ready when we walked out! I will definitely be returning to Kelly's Spa for pedicures and other services, it was a great experience! read more

We recently booked a spa birthday party here, and were completely horrified by the rude staff in particular a employee named Amy, she argued with us, we had to walk to the front desk everytime, to see how things were progressing, we did the cupcake party, and the cupcakes were delicious, but I had to go to the front again and ask how we got our cupcakes she handed me one menu and said come back and tell me what you all want, her treatment to everyone was rude,even the birthday girl, to top it off she charged us for a service not provided and also argued with me and would not relent over the statement saying when you book 3 or more cupcake specials together the fourth is complimentry, I did not have access to the internet, when I got home I checked and was correct but now I have to phone the manager and try to solve a problem that could have been corrected had they had better staff. The treatments were fine, and the atmosphere is lovely, they simply need to find individuals who represent their spa and hotel in a more professional manner. read more
