I had an excellent experience. The server Dylan was a highlight. He had such a polite manner and extensive knowledge of the menu. I ordered the fish and chips and a brisket sandwich. When we arrived at 4:45pm there was already a long line of people waiting. Service was attentive and good. However they didn't refill our water. They have a decent number of options to choose from on the menu. Prices are a bit high for a casual restaurant - especially the salads. I wish they offered a side salad option as I would have ordered differently if they had. I got the Beef Dip. It was decent and filling but not exceptional. You could definitely taste the mushrooms. We had purchased the Dinner and Comedy pkg. he worked it out with the comedy club that we could take our wine (we had purchased a bottle with dinner) and also not be required to buy two additional drinks on top of our bottle of wine Comedy Club (0 stars) What was confusing was the amount of effort Kelsey's Director had to put into helping us. Has no one ever asked to take their dinner drinks into the club after their meal? The comedy club made the experience difficult to say the least. If not for the Director helping us the experience would have been completely unacceptable Comedy Club Performers. I don't even want to call them comedians ... however, the comedy club hired 3 "lazy" comedians. What I mean is that when the second word out of each comedian is the "F Bomb" it declares to me that the comedian has no incentive to put effort to produce intelligent humor. They rely on swearing, and the tired old "sex with my wife", to what they hope is a drunk crowd. I went to Penchenga Casino this past weekend with a friend. We decided to try this sports bar called Kelsey's. The bar has tvs all around the bar, and you can sit without being seated. If you want a table or a booth, you must wait to be seated by the host. The bartender was nice and made us feel welcome. The bar offers craft beers and domestic beers. We decided on blonde craft beer, a ginger beer with a meat lovers, pizza, and sweet potato fries. The food came out fast, and everything tasted delicious. The pizza can be shared with 2 or 3 people. We enjoyed ourselves watching the Warriors vs. Kings game while eating some delicious food. I overall give this place a 5 star rating. We definitely will be back and try some more food. We went for the first Chargers game of the season and everywhere I looked there was an available TV to view the game. I would specifically like to mention our server Eli! We are not the easiest family when it comes to choosing items and placing orders. Eli was all smiles and very patient with us. We did take some time to order, but overall experience was fast, and decent quality. They have a full bar, with multiple options of beer and wine, and specialty cocktails. We asked our waitress for her recommendations and she was straight up. I don't think I've been to a restaurant where the waitress was so honest about some of the dishes. For example I asked how the lobster roll was and she said, well if you want a cold sandwich. And it isn't like a traditional lobster roll, and it's our most returned item. Haha. She gave us a negative review too with the Mac and cheese. I appreciate the honesty, and transparency, it was great. We ordered the beef dip sandwich, artichoke and chicken pizza, and the nachos. The nachos were okay. Lots of different kinds of cheeses on top of piled high chips, with lots of toppings. Don't get me wrong I love an overwhelmed nacho party but it seemed like it was layered causing the chips to be soggy. Well for every drink and every appetizer you get a raffle ticket. Who serves sliders and doesn't provide ketchup? Also frustrating was to order some add on items like avocado and be told ten minutes after food was ordered that there'd be an up charge. Finally, a Pechanga dining outlet worthy of this grand casino! I haven't been to them all but so far Kelsey's is leaps and bounds better then any other I have tried so far. We had a wonderful, relaxed lunch with excellent service, Garret took great care of our table and took extra steps to make sure we were covered. Two others assisted our table and Garret and they got it right. Bravo Kelsey's Manager and service staff. Lunches were great, we found out it was a new menu, The Black and Bleu sandwich was amazing the steak was cooked perfect, cut perfect and seasoned just right, it had a pile of bleu cheese, some was brushed off, but better then not enough, the New Orleans roll was soft warm and fresh. This place is awful several months ago I went to pechanga with my mom and we decided to eat at Kelseys Bar and grill we both ordered the BLT which was Bacon, lettuce and pork belly sandwich with fries it took them over an hour to make this people who had come in after us had already finished their meal before we even got ours. When we finally got it I was hungry and started eating my sandwich, I thought it tasted funny but just thought it was how they cooked the pork belly until my mom went to fix her sandwich and come to find out the bacon in the sandwich was raw bacon it was not cooked. Ive been waiting to write this review since mid March because I was trying to get a hold of the general manager however every attempt has received no response. We had an appetizer that was decent. The service was crappy. I watched 2 ladies next to me finish and leave. Up walks a new guy after about 15 mins or so the female bartender asks him to move citing he's not allowed to sit there. He was not rude but she had an attitude on her when he asks why do I have to move I'm waiting for my wife. The bartender quickly escalated the situation and called for the manager all the while smiling and smirking at him. She had a wait and see attitude. Eventually the man said screw this and left. We were so uncomfortable watching this transpire. But wait it got worse. The manager eventually walked up and starts asking the bartender questions in front of us and she was laughing and boasting about how she was crappy to him. It was obvious the manager was ok with the lack of professionalism put forth by her employee. We were disgusted, asked for our check, advised the other bartender you know we saw everything that happened and she's wrong for what she did and this is why we are leaving. We decided to eat off-site instead, and we were staying at the hotel! Shame on you pechanga for allowing this to go down and even more for never returning my multiple calls and emails. The Hangover Burger was too sweet, ribeye was bland, pizza was undercooked, and fish and chips were mediocre. The nachos looked impressive but tasted like everything came out of a can. This is my second time here and I have enjoyed both times. I managed to snap a photo of the appetizers but not the entrees, we were so hungry and it was going away family dinner and I was intentionally not using my phone. This place is inside the casino and it's a nice casual place to kick back and enjoy yourself. For appetizers we had the Jalapeño Poppers (keto friendly ), for entree I had the Caesar Salad, no croutons, add ribeye steak medium well!! Steak was seasoned to perfection (keto meal) . Hubby had the Spicy Jerk Chicken Sandwich, my children had the Hangover Burger and the Classic Burger with Bacon ( children are college aged). My husband also loves the Smoked Maple Bourbon Old Fashioned, it taste like Christmas in July if you ask me, it's yummy!! The restaurant is clean, the Olympics were on the big screen , the atmosphere was friendly and the service was wonderful. We want to restaurant hop the next time we visit the Casino but we will definitely be keeping this one on the list even , if it's just for a night cap .
