Blackened chicken over pasta with broccoli
    Leah R.

The atmosphere was good. The fish tank was cool, along with good service. But the food was eh. $17 for calamari that looks like fried onion rings. Lots of breading. I ordered the blackened chicken over pasta with broccoli. It was a pretty looking dish but hard to eat because of the shape of the bowl. Couldn't really cut up the chicken or the huge pieces of broccoli. Flavor was good though, I'll give them that, even if it was difficult to eat. Took the rest to go. When I went to eat it leftover they was a corner of a plastic bag in the container. Guess the food wasn't so fresh after all. Not worth the hype.

Thick bacon, bourbon BBQ, blue cheese crumbles and homemade Applesauce. A delicious app that was on special.

Kennedy's Cove is good, but hard to justify for the cost. The price is that of "special occasion" for most people, but I don't find the food to be better than other "special occasion" destinations in Buffalo. With that being said, the bacon appetizer was a standout that would make me consider coming to Kennedy's Cove again. But the next time I'll skip the average steak and get a cheaper menu item for my entree.

I needed crusty steak! Super small restaurant with angry fish that try to bite us Delicious calamari Beef vegetable soup was out of this world....it was not seafood bisque's day Steaks were top notch!!! No veggies thought :(

    Steak was very good!!

So we've been there twice in the last 6 weeks. I ordered the strip steak and my guy the filet. The first time it was coated with their in house blacked steak seasoning very heavy and it was DELISH!!!! The 2nd time not so much. The appetizers are just meh, nothing special and not all that tasty. The atmosphere is upbeat. The restaurant itself is VERY small and cramped. The bar is too big of the restaurant in my opinion. There's no where for patrons to sit and wait for your table. The wait each time was 30-45 mins. The service is ok, not great. The prices are very high and ala carte. The owner is hands on helping out and pleasant.

I cannot get enough of this place!! The food is incredible and the staff is amazing! They also have daily deals that you can't beat. I definitely recommend the blackened seasoning (what they are known for). Something I truly appreciated is they have you cut into your steak and make sure it's cooked to your liking.

We finally made it here after saying we were going to try it for ages. The blackened seasoning on the steaks is delicious. We loved the banana peppers to start, along with the French onion soup. The prices are reasonable, seeing as each steak comes with a side and soup or salad. We also had the chocolate ganache cake a la mode for dessert, which we really found to be tasty.

We were pretty excited to try out Kennedy's Cove, interesting exterior...interior is really cute and cozy The service was good, except we never received the coffee that we ordered, but we weren't charged, so we let it go The food that we ordered...my salad had the tinest little cup of dressing, Scallops stuffed with crab and the stuffed shrimp were not so good...the exact reasoning for this would take such a long time! Maybe order a steak instead? So sorry, but will not be returning

The food is way overpriced. We each had a filet. The steak was chewy and full of grizzle. I was not impressed and will not return.

Like c'mon! Imagine, you can have a cocktail and/or an appetizer and relax reading a book on the couch. Yes, I love this idea, I'm all about it. The place is small but seating is nicely spaced out, it's super cute and cozy, a modern rustic vibe, totally made me want to start my own book club just so I could be the cool person that hosts a gathering here! I came here for a Galentine's Day - Self Love Birthday gathering that was situated in the back room. It's a small room to the back left of the place where 12 people can sit at the three tables and there's a love seat and two chairs with a table accommodating 16 people and a couple more for standing room. We ordered three appetizers at the bar (see my pictures) and everyone ordered a mocktail. They brought the food over to our area but didn't ask who ordered the food or where to put it, they just kind placed it down and walked away. Appetizers were about $8, I was told the Buffalo Chicken Wing dip was not that good but I didn't try it. I ate the Mezza plate and appreciated it, would order again. I think this is a cute date night visit or a bring your bestie and chill kind of place. I'll definitely come back again with a friend to hang out, chat a bit and check out some books!

Eggplant Caprese 9/10 Very crispy eggplant breading. The eggplant itself was cooked good. There was also more eggplant than there was Mozz and tomato- so I would suggest adding another couple slices to balance out every bite. I'd add a touch more balsamic too. Bison sliders 8/10 Meat was good, the slider burgers were pretty thick and juicy. I would recommend since they were so think maybe cooking them a minute less for a more medium cook. I liked the goat cheese paired with the meat but you really couldn't taste it, i wish there was more. I'm not sure if it was the onion jam or the blueberry BBQ but something was a little spicy. Bbq pork belly tacos 7/10 The pork was cooked great, and the bbq was a good flavor. I liked the idea behind the double shell (one hard, one corn tortilla), but I think it would have worked better if it was a flour tortilla because both shells ended up breaking and I needed to use a fork to eat it. Between the hard shell and the sweet potato crisps, there was too much crunch for me. I did like the pairing of the pineapple with the BBQ sauce.

While reviewing the happy hours specials I noticed "bottled and draft beers: $5.95". Not the greatest deal but went with it. I then proceeded to order 2 Corona Extras. We enjoy ourselves, finish our drinks, and now it's bill time. After reviewing the bill we notice that my Coronas were charged at $8.95 each. We bring this up to the bartender and are told "that's only for domestics"; not anywhere on the menu is this stated (don't worry I double checked). We ask if this is an error in our favor to which the magic happens. We must have said the magic words to this dirty blond bartender because that's when the tantrum happens. She then proceeds to reach into her tip jar and throw a single dollar bill and four quarters in front of us (technically still owed us $4). I've never seen such blatant disrespect and utter lack of candor or customer service. There's 100s of different ways to handle that situation if she disagreed with our thought on the bill and her reaction was literally the worst one. I had all intentions of coming back because we thoroughly enjoyed our time until literally the last minute. I called ahead and the lady who answered the phone was super nice, our waitress was really nice, another waitress I passed in the hall complimented my dress. Great service goes a long way with me and these ladies nailed it! The menu was a little limited and definitely lived up to its name: Linguines! I was hopeful for an arancini app but no such luck. It's ok though... I wasn't sure if there was complimentary bread so I did order the garlic bread ... well there is complimentary bread and butter, which was good, but no regrets on the garlic bread. It was good and my son really loved it! I don't normally order a garlic bread for this reason (comp bread plus garlic bread is too much bread) so it was a nice change of pace you could say! The drink situation was a little odd ... I only drink water for the most part ... sometimes a cocktail but I was with my son and didn't want to have a drink and they will give you soup with your entree ONLY IF you get a paid beverage. You can't have the soup with your entree if you only drink water. THEN we find out no refills on paid drinks. I am glad the waitress at least told us that, but it seems odd and kind of cheap of a restaurant to not give refills. Also weird to only give soup to those who don't drink water. I've never seen a restaurant do this. But the food was plenty so it's fine. My son did get a beverage that wasn't water, so he was able to get his soup. My son ordered the Alfredo and got the Italian wedding soup with it. I got the house made manicotti with meatballs. We enjoyed everything. I didn't love the meatballs but I am so picky about meatballs I wouldn't judge my review on that. If you're a texture person, they are firm meatballs. Me and my son both tried each others food and enjoyed. Our leftovers were gone a few hours later. Again, good service, and enjoyed the fresh air on the patio. Parking lot has no shortage of space and is easily handicap accessible with a ramp. You can sit indoor, outdoor, or at the bar. You can order takeout or delivery too.

The absolute best lunch my mother-in-law and I have had in a VERY long time. This is by far the most incredible and freshest seafood in the area. Plenty of seating room. The menu was a bit overwhelming. I ended up getting the blackened haddock platter (with red potatoes and coleslaw) and mom got the lake perch with the same sides. We both were in love at our first bite. The haddock was perfectly seasoned and I had no doubts it was cooked well. Lately I feel some places I have been served fish that isn't done. No doubts here. Coleslaw was saucy and flavorful. Potatoes were delicious and the meal also came with a roll. The perch meal was exactly what my mother in law was hoping for. She hadn't had it in a while and it was a heaping portion. She said it "barely" had much taste, which was a plus for her. The batter was clean, and you can tell fresh oil was in the fryer.
