Kenny's Cafe is a good Chinese American restaurant. They serve both Chinese and American food. The entrance is inconspicuous with the sun faded signage. My tri-tip steak was rough. But for $19, I can't complain. The chef cooked it perfectly and seared it with a good amount of crust. The mashed potatoes were bland and watery. The corn was the canned type with a mild sweet taste. The meal came with a cup of 'seafood soup.' It was more of an egg drop soup. Service was great. I like these types of classic diner restaurants.

Portions is not that bad, and the food is not too oily. I would definitely come back especially since their service is not bad considering it's a Chinese restaurant. We ordered: Fried Chicken, beef with double mushroom, chow fun, and the egg with shrimp and fish to share. Not bad. Would order it again.

Wow what a hidden little gem in Pacifica. Tucked away is this little restaurant that serves a well executed Chinese American restaurant. The Chinese food is spot on. Freshly cooked and tasty . On every other Friday they offer prime rib. What ?? Sure let's try it again tonight to see if last time it was lucky. But guess what the food was prepared well. I cannot complain. Soup clam chowder was delicious, I had to share. The dish came with starch and vegetables. This time was white rice , note to self ask for plain rice . Because they serve with gravy on top. And sweet corn as sides. The prime ribs was cooked to medium rare just as asked. Had to ask for horseradish. I did not leave that table with anything on my plate. The family had the Chinese food. Fried wontons, crab ragoons. Fried chicken wings. Orange chicken and salt and pepper pork. Even got a Togo won ton mein. All delicious. They even packed the leftovers. Instead of just handing out boxes. I love it . Lunch time they have lunch specials!!! Don't forget the specials on the board.

Stopped by this place while visiting pacific and it was a little hidden gem! The service was amazing and friendly! The food was food and they were big portions as well. The hot and sour soup was on point and overall every meal was delicious. The ambiance was local Chinese diner with great staff. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 was small cocktail shrimp was used for the fried rice instead of the regular shrimp which changes the flavor profile and not as tasty as using the regular shrimp. I know that's picky but it makes a rather big difference in taste. I would definitely be back

Stopped in on a whim during a girls' trip and was seriously impressed! I'm usually picky about Chinese food; grew up next door to the owners of an amazing restaurant in Dublin, CA and haven't found anything that measured up since. Kenny's comes close! We had the honey walnut prawns (crispy, flavorful, and generous!), beef fried rice, salt & pepper chicken (made with white meat, which I prefer), and fried wontons. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. Great portions, quick service, and no-frills comfort food done right. I'll definitely be back!

I've been coming here for years!! I have had their food since I was in high school, and throughout the years I always recommend this place to all my friends and coworkers! It makes me happy hearing that they come on their own time because it means that they're getting the recognition that they deserve. Their food have always stayed consistent in the best quality, their staff are always attentive and make the place feel like home! It's always so comforting coming in and being welcomed by everyone! I always try to bring different people in, and those people bring new folks in too! Nothing makes me happier than seeing this place getting the love that they deserve with the amount of dedication and hard work they put in with every table that they serve. This restaurant will always have a special place in my heart! These photos are all taken months apart or even years a part to emphasize all the different people I've shared Kenny's with and just how consistent their amazing food is!

Been coming by for a while for Chicken cashew nut chow mein, can't get that combo in SF since are go to spot closed a few yrs. back. You get a choice of house soup. We go for hot & sour. Raymond turned us on to their fried wontons. They were tasty. They have a menu for party trays . They were a hit at our family get together as well as the cashew nut chicken chow mein. Like everything else.. going up, price , quality, Our go to spot when driving along Hwy. 1

Very friendly family atmosphere. Food was quick and fresh. I ordered the wonton and noodle soup with shrimp. It was bland at first, but with a little hot sauce, it was perfect!

The food was not good. I got the Chicken Noodle Wonton Soup and it lacked flavor. I went early and everything was clean. The service could have been better. She tried forcing me to tip. Don't recommend.

A beer turned into a cup of chowder which was extraordinary and it's the first time I've ever had my chowder served with a real clam shell inside lol. The food we got to try was mixed. Caesar salad & corn soup, good. The coconut shrimp somehow had no flavor, and the oysters Rockefeller were fine. Our issue was primarily with the service. We were there with two kids under 5. We told them upfront that we wanted to eat quickly given this. Long story short, it took an hour forty minutes to get our entrees. At which point we had to get the food to go. The restaurant after they were asked comped a little, but were not very apologetic about the wait just saying their wait staff were busy. So it seems like they may need to invest in more waiters. This was made all the more frustrating because it was one of my kids birthdays, which we put in our reservation note, but nothing was done to make this in any way feel special or accommodating. Overall, if you are going for the atmosphere and to have dinner, I think it is a nice restaurant given the views. But if you took this away, I would say the food and service are not up to standard.

That's right, 40 minutes AFTER our reservation. Why? Because they refused to tell the table they'd been seated at that there was a reservation waiting and they needed it back. We followed up multiple times and most of the group was ready to leave. Their answer was "oh, we can't tell them to leave." But that party had already paid 30 minutes prior at 7:50. The best they could do was clear the table so the other party would "get a clue." That was absolutely unacceptable. I've been told to leave a table before because my time was up. I get it. When you're with a large group, you catch up and lose track of time. Totally understandable. But if the restaurant won't do anything to enforce it, why allow reservations at all? That said, if you think you have all the time in the world and don't mind sitting down way later than your scheduled time, go ahead and try this place. If you value your time, don't bother. Does the food make up for it? Absolutely not. I ordered the linguini with clams and the noodles were super dry. Sauce was nowhere to be found. Same issue for others at my table who ordered pasta. The carbonara, which should also be saucy, had no sauce either. And for my linguini, what little sauce there was tasted incredibly sour. Not savory at all. Others who tried it agreed. On top of that, the clams had sand. Overall, a failure of a dish. So would I come back? For what? The service wasn't good and neither was the food. Absolutely not. You've been warned.
