If I could give more than 5 star, I would. seriously!! Delicious and want to try the whole menu. It's BYOB. the pasta is amazing! All fresh and both the creamy tomato sauce and pesto sauce is yummy. Desserts too! Great portions. Can't wait to go back!

The linguine with scallops shrimp and mussels was tasty. This is a byob restaurant and Charges are $2 per person regardless of how many bottles.

Chicken parm (My Veal parm looked similar but I got more of the great tomato sauce)

Our first time here, wont be the last. Everything about the meal and the evening there was great. Best red sauce (on my veal Parm) I've had (OK, tied with Gino's in Baton Rouge). Pizza outstanding. Service great as well. Only downside was we forgot our wine at the house. Mr. Covino took the time to visit with every table and then shake hands as we left.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first time at Covino's this evening. We loved the ambience, especially the Frank Sinatra music. The food was fantastic: Buffalo shrimp appetizer Chicken Aristocrat Braciole Dessert- cappuccino ice cream pie Bread and salads were delicious Everything was delicious. Our server Allison was attentive and friendly. Covino's is open for dinner only: Monday - Saturday 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM Sunday 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

I ordered to go and look at this piece of lasagna they gave us. This was $20. Along with the sad salad. This was our first time ordering and will be our last. Food is cold and I went up there and ordered in person, so it wasn't sitting.

It's been a couple of years since our last visit. I ordered the Stromboli and it was the size of a nerf football and oh so delicious. My wife went with spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs were huge so she only ordered one and I brought home the other for a nice meatball sandwich the next day. Great people and food. Cool old pictures hung throughout the restaurant that makes for great ambiance.

The menu from 60 or more years ago has a phone number of WEstmore 9-9685 In Port Chester N.Y. There were no Area Codes then and if you wanted to call long distance, you had to raise an AT&T operator to put the call through. There is a long standing family heritage at work here and the food reflects the pride this family has in serving guests for generations of the Covino family. We grew up in New Jersey and have sampled many Italian restaurants in the Plano area, searching for a real authentic New York area pizza. Covino's serves the only pizza we would give a 100 percent authentic rating so far. We haven't hit them all yet, of course. This hugely popular very small restaurant set in a vintage strip mall in Plano is only open for dinner with very restricted business hours. Bu sure to check before you go. It is very casual family oriented and is a BYOB restaurant.

We always get chicken with pink sauce and thick pasta. We also always get the ABRUZZI Bread, the best appetizer!

My most favorite Italian place to go to in the DFW metroplex. Small hole in the wall in the middle of Plano. Owner is always so nice. He will often say hi to everyone like old-school. The food is fantastic and very affordable. Also BYOB which is really great.

    Store front after hours.

It's a little expensive but SO worth every penny. We had the garlicky cheese which is better than any garlic cheese breadstick anywhere. That thin crispy dough and delicious cheese! Oh my! Also had a large pepperoni cup with homemade red sauce. Family loved it. My husband and I had a large veggie of our choice, with Italian sausage and homemade red sauce and added homemade ricotta too. Incredibly delicious! I wish he would add a couple of dessert pizzas too. Yummy! Please give them a try, you won't regret it and you'll fall in love too.

We ordered the Aurthur, and it was delicious. I wasn't sure how much to order so I got a large to be safe. Well, its huge at 16". Probably more than we needed for two people as we each ate two large slices, leaving 4 slices left over. I love leftover pizza, so no problem there. I think its a better value at $23.50 versus $16 for a small? I liked the greek salad as well, although It could probably use a larger lettuce to all-other-ingredients ratio. it seemed like all the ingredients were about equal in portion. Delicious, but I want a bit more lettuce. I will for sure try some of the other pizzas here. And I liked the friendly staff. They seem genuinely "all-in", which is a great thing.

OK i saw it was missing toppings and knew before i even ate it and well we ate the F'ing pizza and there 100% was missing toppings - MULTIPLE (it was missing the bacon jam and hot honey, literally the 2 addons the specialty pizza was supposed to come with) as shown in picture i provided... we ordered the sweet revenge specialty pizza with mushrooms, extra cheese, red bell peppers, and pepperoni. we pay good for these pizzas and have been good customers for years. the old people who worked there the last few months knew our order specifically. idk if they changed staff or what. - i made sure to speak to the manager and speak nicely but once he told me i was making it up i definitely was angry. he offered no way to help and told me i would have to drive back up there. i ask for his name to and he said he didnt see the relevance. obviously the relevance was to complain. the workers there seem high on drugs other than just weed based on the dark black circles around there eyes... yikes must be good letting them handle food, anyway. the person checking me out seemed like he was waiting for me to leave without me even paying because he was so high. the manager did not care when i told him this. and he refused to give me his name. this place is terrible and the upper management seems to never check on it in my opinion. i even gave the manager the option like i could send him picture of the pizza etc and get a credit for next time but i got no help. i hang up and made this post. very frustrating. 40 dollars wasted... save your money and eat at a place next door or a diffferent pizza place. Thanks for reading. We as long time customer are never going here again. P.S. the date was 5/19/26 and time was 6PM for upper management that actually care to look into this since they wouldnt give me a managers name. insane tbh. everyone there must be high.

Bf and I stopped in here for date night after meaning to try it for a while…read more I got the strawberry lemonade as the reviews highly recommended it, and it was quite good. Definitely tasted real and fresh, and the price includes a refill. The bread itself was pretty flavorless, but I really liked the spice on the butter. I got Veal Piccata, as piccata is my favorite dish and the one I always get when trying a new Italian restaurant. The veal itself was very good, and I liked the flavor of the sauce: a lot more lemony and chicken broth than any white wine taste that some places emphasize. However, I do think the sauce was entirely too watery (pretty much like soup) and the noodles were soggy and chewy. Our waitress was overall attentive, if not seeming a little reluctant to leave the table after we said we were good. She also spilled a lot of my sauce all over the table (fine, things happen) and instead of cleaning it up, she just set my plate on top of it and apologized. My side of the table was covered in the sauce for the rest of the meal. My bf liked his dish as well, and I liked the texture of his chicken. I equate the taste of his sauce to the five cheese marinara at Olive Garden. Overall, I think we would both return.
