Fail. I ordered the beef with string beans.....beef was mushy, string beans were bland. $8.10 down the drain. Would have been nice if they added some duck sauce/hot mustard packets....of course, just got a whole bunch of soy sauce with a fortune cookie. I've come here for many years and this is probably the cleanest Kenny's there is, ever since they moved to this new location. The food is what you expect from a Chinese sub shop - greasy food, low prices, huge portions. I usually get the three piece wings with fries/fried rice, which is always cooked to order. The mumbo sauce is not as good as the Wheaton Kenny's, but it's decent. First of all, It's American Chinese food. Second, they serve everything under the sun that involves Chinese food, chicken or subs. That includes french fries. The Chinese food is mostly bland, the American food is greasy and they load everything with MSG so much that you can smell it even before you taste it. But then again, plenty of people LIKE bland, greasy MSG. Want some food with your MSG? The Good: They deliver and they deliver late too. The Greasy American food is not as bad as the chinese food, and they do have some Chinese dishes that aren't horrible. These include in my opinion: Egg Foo Young Szechuan Green Beans - Spicy! Beef and Broccoli - Put some salt and pepper on it. Sweet and Sour Pork - don't eat it plain, pour the sauce on it. Iced Tea gets .5 star just for it's self. It's good! GET IT! Oh Kenny's... We used to have great chemistry, but I don't know where we went wrong! This food used to be delicious! Once in a while I got the 4 PC wings and fried rice. Here and there I would get the steak and cheese sub. Today, I decided to revisit the place after almost four years. Not much has changed, EXCEPT THE FOOD! I got the 4 wings fried rice and sweet n sour chicken. Poor choice or maybe not. The rice was bland and the wings ENORMOUS-- very unnatural looking. The taste of the wings were pretty decent (egg tasting). The quantity is not as large as it used to be. The sweet and sour chicken was SUPER DUPER OILY. This is the most disgusting place I've ever eaten at. I ordered Kung poa chicken combination platter and the driver was rude asking for a tip like we owe him more. then I have an allergy to onions and asked for no vegetable of course none were taken out. when I called they acted as though I was out of line and told me they had no more drivers to come and exchange the food. so I decided to pull the veggies out myself as I was going through the food I found an earwig cooked into it! This is the worst take out/ delivery spot in the history! I wouldn't dare call them a restaurant. I call in and order food at 10:40 and I live less than 10 mins away. They called me back after we hung up to tell me they were closing in 20 mins I said that's fine I'll be there in 10. When I get there they say the food is gone they gave it away. Like I walked in and they door was open and they were behind the counter. They said "no more food" I explained to them that I called in an order. They said oh we gave the food away. What kind of stupidity is that? I will never EVER IN LIFE ORDER A FUCKIN NAPKIN FROM THESE DUMB ASSES! No wonder they have horrible reviews. I have money and you have my food away? I just left there, and I ordered Scallops w/fries, Hunan Shrimp and a bunch of other items. I got home and to my surprise, a bunch of hard fried flour because there was no scallop to be found, also scallops are not flat. I live a distance away, I was mad as hell, so I called and all they could say was you can bring them back, how about, the next meal is on them? That's what customer service looks like! This was some bull and they don't know what to offer, I spent a lot of money there, over $60 bucks. I work hard for my money, and it is not to be thrown away. Sometimes you just need to go to a place like this. I love these kinds of restaurants where you can get subs, chinese food, fried seafood and whatever else you could possibly be jonesin for. This is where I come to get chicken wings, pork fried rice and bean curd home style. I'm hungry just thinking about it. The chicken wings come with that mumbo sauce, the chinese food is just fine and if you peruse the rest of the menu too long you might just end up ordering fried scallops and a steak and cheese sub. It's located in a strip mall with an IHOP, Old Country Buffet, Domino's, Rugged Warehouse and a Vitamin Shoppe just to name a few. I will never order from here ever again.... #1 The delivery driver is the rudest man I have ever met in my entire life. On several occasions when you order food he will come to the door and say "OH MAN! Big order!" What is a good response to that? usually ill just say well...yea it is for 4-5 people. At first i ignored it then i came to realize that he cant deliver the food without saying it... sometimes hell even whisper it while he writes up my receipt.. REALLY!? Then the last time i ordered from them i didn't hear him knocking at first, then when i came to the door, his exact words were "Buddy, I'm gonna kill you!". At one point my friend got the door and he forgot to write in the tip the driver actually knocked on the door again and said you forgot to tip me. I thought that was optional? I always tip delivery drivers well...but..seriously? #2 The special chicken wing platters that i use to order... are not cooked fresh as some reviews on here say... Go inside and pick up your food. You'll see the big basket of pre-cooked wings sitting right next to the fryer uncovered and awaiting any germs, bugs, body excrement's that can be thrown at them... This explains the hair that was in the breading of the wings of my last order. Then when someone places an order for wings, they tack the fully cooked wings and throw them back in the fryer to heat them up. Then the fries/rice and wings is put into a Styrofoam container which then melts all around the wings...Can you say Cancer? #3 I have gotten food poisoning from there food at least 3 times now. Never could be sure if it was caused from Kennys, but after the hair, open air chicken, and bugs that i have seen people take pictures of in there food, there is no doubt in my mind its from Kennys... 1 final thing... their frozen tea... is powdered ice tea mix... you can make at home for about $4 a year.... I'm my option and my wife this is are spot for great tasting steak and cheese sub's French fries are they way we like them just next time will order then we'll done to get more crips out of them, wings are meaty but sauce it ok for me and my wife liking are son loved the sauce cause it wasn't hot . But be ready to order when you get to Counter they are very busy and trying to get you in and out in a timely manner I would say call a head if you don't mind a little wait if you just walk up like I do most of the time. There ice tea is a must to try best ice I've ever had . But all in all great place to eat and they give HUGE PORTIONS for the price. I was really looking for a place with really good Chicken Wings and Mumbo sauce. The wings were decent but the mumbo sauce was terrible! Stick with the American food. Chinese/Asian cuisine is questionable. I ordered Shrimp Fried Rice and it was edible, but I will never order it again. The rice had so many onions in it and you could see the sprouts on the onions that they didn't bother to cut off. The shrimp were pretty much non-existent other than a few little mediocre, pathetic pieces. The BBQ spare ribs, on the other hand, were huge and delicious. They are the only thing that I've ever ordered from here in the past and they are always good. All you need is a small because you get about 5-6 decent sized pieces. It's almost too much to eat by yourself. They have some strict rules on using debit/credit cards so if you don't plan on buying much your first time (which I suggest because you never know if you'll like the food or not and they give you very large portions) I'd just bring cash. Their tea is good, but I don't know if it's truly tea or not. It almost tastes frozen. I'm not sure what the deal is with it. Also, you can't sit down and eat here because they have huge boxes of shipments (I guess) sitting all over the floor but they do have a few chairs lined up where you can sit and wait. read more

The staff can be some what rude, but they were alway nice and friendly to me, probably cause I was a regular (eat there at least once a week). Food is good quality. There is a great selection with large diversity and always large portions! The diversity tends to mean that none of the food is ever "the best you have ever had" yet it is ALL VERY good. Delivery service is FAST and exceptionally friendly. I placed an order for delivery as I normally do. I ordered General tso chicken and steam rice. Received my order in a timely fashion as usual. Tip the driver $10 as usual he's a good guy and he deserves it. But when I started eating my general tso chicken I realized that somehow I had gotten all breading and very little meet. It was about 80% bread and 20% meat at best. It was very stale tasting as if it was frozen for too long. I called them back and asked to return the food and as I was eating stale food I lost my appetite so I did not want it replaced. They sent the driver back and gave me my refund no questions asked. Fast forward to weeks, I called in again to place another order. I ordered the same thing General tso chicken steam rice. This time the lady that picked up said that they cannot deliver to me anymore, that the manager has said no more deliveries to my house. I have been ordering from this place since 2009 and have had zero problems or issues before this. I hopped in the car and drove to the shop. There I asked the lady sitting at the counter why is it that you will not deliver to me anymore can you explain this to me? The lady told me that the manager said no more deliveries to you. I asked why again she could not tell me. Another lady who I believe to be the manager but would not admit to it said that they no longer deliver to me because I returned the food from before. She claimed that I took all the meat out of the pieces of General tso and just returned the bread. That is the most preposterous and outlandish accusation that I have ever been accused of before in my life. I told her fine you don't want to deliver to me I'm here to pick up food. She told me "no all we make his bread and dough you don't want that so we can't sell to you." So I was refused the sale for delivery and refused the sale for pickup essentially being banned from this store. Again I've been going there since 2009 and have not had any issue before now. Even though they only know my name and number I do not think I will ever shop there again. You make your own decision on whether you wish to purchase from them but anyone who bands a customer for life because they made a return of a bad item once, is no place that deserves business. It's hurts me to say that because the people that work there outside of the manager are really good people and are very kind people. read more
