The shop has such cute, inviting decor, and there's a wide variety of treats to choose from, including ice cream, cookies, cakes, and even dog treats. love kermit's!! this place was featured in many key west travel guides, so i came in with high expectations. and i'm happy to say kermit's exceeded my expectations and then some. in my opinion, it's the #1 spot to get key lime pie in key west! i got the chocolate covered coconut key lime pie on a stick ($6), a fair price especially for being located in downtown key west. i loved this key lime pie! it had the crunch from the pie crust contrasting with the decadence of the milk chocolate shell. but the chocolate didnt overpower the key lime cream fortunately, and the coconut added that unique and delicious texture. i ended up coming back again to try the white chocolate strawberry key lime pie on a stick, and this was equally as good with the white chocolate complimenting the rest of the pie, which had real strawberry infused into the pie cream. the inside of the shop has a fun lime green theme, offering free cookie samples to guests. i really enjoyed the key lime cookies, they were like nothing i've had anywhere before. there's also some souvenirs you can buy, and an outdoor patio seating in the back of the shop. the service is quick and friendly! you have to try this spot on your next key west trip!! i'll definitely be coming back again and again whenever i'm back in town. 10/10 read more

Cute little place on the corner. They have a lot of free samples so you can try before you buy. They also have ice cream and slices of different flavors of Keylime pie. It has a firm tanginess to it and you get a fresh blast of the lime all atop a firm biscuit base. They do use fresh cream on top of the pie and I did think it was a bit too much for my preference. When in Rome... You can find all things key lime here and I do mean all things. chap-stick, candles, soap, candies, pies, cookies, home decor, etc. So many great things to take home as a souvenir or a gift. The shop itself is bright and attractive and put together very well. The lime green just makes everything pop! Of course we had to try the pie so we grabbed a couple slices to share as a family outside on their inviting patio to cap off the night. Prices were pretty reasonable for a majorly hyped product such as key lime pie and the pie itself was pretty good. I'm always a sucker for Publix's mango/key lime pies when I'm in the south but I know that that isn't the most authentic so it was nice to try the original in it's place of origin. We picked up some fudge and candy on our way out to take back to Minnesota as unique gifts and the items packed well and were greatly received. read more

I appreciated that they had ice cream, cookies (with free tasters!), and other items, in addition to key lime pie. This is a great shop for gifts for friends and family back home. We came from the key lime pie and it was delicious with a nice balance of sweet and tart. I like the slice from the Blonde Giraffe more, but the comparison isn't apples to apples, as we had a merengue slice there. I was waiting for my catamaran tour to start so I walked in here to pass some time. Little did I know I'd see so many samples of tasty stuff inside.
