My true test of a diner or breakfast spot is simply an egg sandwich. My friend's test? Biscuits with sausage gravy. Both tests passed! My egg sandwich was just right and I loved my side of potatoes. Fresh, hot and made to order food with super friendly service. Even though we dined in the later morning hours, one person in our party wanted a burger which received solid reviews as well. My son (5) and I went in as Kerrie's is a short walk from Safelite window repair. One thing has not changed from when I went here in the early 2000's - when you walk in, majority of folks turn around to look to see who it is. There's two small counters and about 12 tables that make up the restaurant. Their decoration skills for the holiday are on point! We went during Halloween and really loved their singing skeleton. The waitstaff were really welcoming and nice. When the food came out, the pancakes are huge! Some diners skimp, but not this one, they do it traditional American diner 90's style. Their corned beef hash appeared homemade and it was really good. (Nice and krispy) They do take card, but it looks like they prefer cash. Also, they have a great take home dessert selection, so if you have a thanksgiving table in need, I'm sure these ladies can help you out! read more

Kerrie's moved to Broadway, Fort Edward and we waited a few weeks to give them time to settle in to the new location. Wow! What a great building, everyone found the new place (it was packed and didn't let up for the hour we were there) and the staff hustled!! The food was spot-on: great portions, fast, hot, and yummy. My husband and I were out for a driver up to the Lake George Outlets and decided to go for a bite to eat. Found this dinner and noticed how full the parking lot was. A good indication of a good restaurant. Inside was small but it reminds us of a diner from the 60s and you could tell it was a neighborhood dinner. Many were greeted by their first name. The menu is simple but had quite a few options. All your typical dinner food, everything looked so good. I had Buffalo cream chicken soup that was amazing. Just a little bit of heat. And of course breakfast is served all day so my husband had his eggs over easy, toast and bacon. He said it hit the spot. We decided to stop for breakfast before heading home. We found this tiny gem! The staff were inviting and welcoming. Our waitress was very friendly, great attitude and attentive. My only complaint was I wish they had more options for lunch meals. The food was great, hot and plenty of it, plus the prices were friendly on our wallets. Stopped in here on our road trip from Connecticut to Canada. The cute little diner is hard to miss if you aren't paying attention. Once inside you seat yourself. All the waitresses and staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They all new all the locals names by face and greet each other with big smiles and sometime hugs, that was really great to see. We ordered veggie omelettes, home fries and toast. My daughter got the white toast and I tried their house made villa bread. It was a bit undercooked, however tasted great so I didn't complain lol. The omelets were absolutely amazing, veggies were very fresh the home fries were seasoned just right and cooked perfectly as I asked for them to be a little extra crispy and they were just right. The portions were great, in fact we packed up half of our meals and put them in the car with us to continue our journey to Canada. Went for breakfast this morning, been coming here for years, asked for eggs ham, home fries toast. What I got was eggs , ham and hash . Said to the waitress , I didn't order hash , it taste like dog food, she asked would you like new eggs , I said please. So here's what happened I get the same eggs with hash scraped off and still has prices of hash all over and , so be careful what you send back to the kitchen . I've had many of their soups which are delish, burgers are generous and reasonable, omelets are wonderful and if you don't see it on the menu, ask. Kerrie, the owner is as sweet as they come.
