    Shrimp Linguini (Penne pasta)
    Kayley K.

Good restaurant overall. The setting is more of a small town bar which we liked, but it is a family friendly joint! The servers were friendly and relatively attentive. The food was average: My husband ordered fish and chips and said it was okay (Not the best he has bad, but not the worst! He still cleaned his plate though haha). I ordered shrimp linguini - shrimp and tomatoes were flavorful, the sauce was good but a little too runny which made the pasta overall plain tasting.

The food was good and the staff very helpful and friendly. The location is very beautiful and very Cape Cod.

Nice local tavern. Usually fairly busy. They have some of the best Stuffed Quahogs(sp) on the Cape.......maybe anywhere.

Lobster roll is huge. Burger is great. Stuffed quahog is amazing. I'd recommend ordering off-menu from the specials for instance.

Noisy dive with surprisingly good food and service; reasonable prices. We like the burgers but the seafood also looked great.

The menu is complete with starters (very generous portions), soups, salads, entrees ... so much to select from. We shared the pretzel with queso and the potato skins. Two of us had salads (very fresh and tasty). And the other person in our party chose the cheeseburger with onion rings. Service was amazing. We almost forgot it was the beginning of a holiday weekend. I highly recommend this restaurant. Specifically, this location. My experience definitely deserves more than five stars.

Although there was a short wait to be seated, it was less than three minutes, and we were quickly shown to a cozy corner table tucked away from the pub and the main dining area. Our waitress greeted us warmly and took our drink orders. I ordered a Blue Moon, while my wife tried their version of a margarita. The beer was enjoyable, but my wife was not a fan of her drink, as it lacked the traditional margarita flavor she was expecting. For dinner, I decided to try something new and ordered the traditional Reuben sandwich. The bread was nicely grilled, and although I am not usually a fan of pickled vegetables, the sauerkraut was actually quite good. Overall, the sandwich was enjoyable, though I felt it could have used a bit more corned beef. My wife ordered the chicken fajitas, but unfortunately, they were disappointing. The chicken was dry, and the dish overall missed the mark. As we were leaving, her final comment summed up the experience: "We probably would have had a better meal at the 99." While parts of the meal were enjoyable, the overall experience did not quite live up to our expectations after such a long time away.

Sara, the musician performing that night, was extraordinary. Her voice has this warm, effortless quality that fills the room without ever overwhelming it, and her song choices created the perfect atmosphere to unwind. There was something genuinely special about sipping my drink while listening to her sing and croon through a set of beautifully played music. It elevated the entire experience and made the evening feel almost cinematic. Villagio already delivers great service and a welcoming vibe, but having Sarah performing made it magnificent. If you're looking for a place where you can enjoy great food, great drinks, and truly memorable live music, Villagio is the spot.

The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful- two was definitely enough but the third is only $1 more. They put chocolate chips into the batter but also on top for maximum chocolateyness. They told us it would take about 20 minutes to get a table for 2 which makes sense on a Sunday morning in the summer, and it was a pretty accurate estimate. It took a while to get the food, about 35 minutes from when we ordered. The wait to get on the waitlist was interesting because I think the checkout computer for the bakery is also where waiters and waitresses have to put in orders, verbally with whoever is there. There was a line of us waiting to put our names down/check in while a waitress had to read out three tables' orders to be entered on the tablet. We'd been done eating for about 10 minutes and sat waiting for the check, unsure if we were supposed to checkout at the computer or if they'd bring a check. We flagged down our waitress to ask and she told us we could pay at the counter (glad we asked!) We had what I'd consider the best table in the house: a corner two-top! I didn't feel cramped or overwhelmed but I think I might have at a lot of the other tables here. They make the most of their space but I can see where it could be a little claustrophobic. All in all, it's not a quick stop per se but the food is great and we love supporting small businesses!
