Great time having pints and flights with my sons. All the beers were great. Also really enjoyed the live entertainment.

Great spot, fantastic beers, fantastic employees + live music on Fridays. I don't drink much, but…read moreif I do, I love stouts. To my satisfaction, they had a pretty tasty stout and even let me buy a half glass rather than full. The great musician offered up some fun live music - which Sanford needs more of, so I'm grateful for that, but then he allowed my brother to go up and sing some songs. Maybe that will become a more regular happening! Their closing time is listed as 8pm but I think because people were there having a good time, they stayed open a little bit later.

Upon investigation we discovered…read more(or so we thought) that we could order the food from the ice cream place and have it delivered to this place. Of course the ice cream place was packed so we opted for this. Unbeknownst to me, there was an upcharge since this place isn't really related to the ice cream shop. It was all a bit confusing. It was really hot inside so we opted to sit outside on some barrels. I ordered some chicken strips and a hot dog, with fries. We also ordered some mozarella sticks. I had ordered the hot dog since I wasn't sure how many chicken strips I would get, turns out three chicken strips would have sufficed. The hot dog was the kind with thick skin that I had to ungraciously strip off before I could even take a bite!! Once the skin was gone the hot dog was good. The chicken strips were OK, somehow a bit too processed for my preference. Fries unremarkable. The ambiance was nice, we had a fun time laughing on the side of the restaurant. I might come here again if the weather was better, it was SO HOT inside that it would not have been habitable for me. I might try something different next time.

Entering the venue, soft Celtic music plays in the background, lending a beautiful atmosphere accented by old farm tables, dark green wainscoting and mug club mugs lining the mouldings. The beer selections are superb. I had their IPA, aromatic and very tasty. Then the Stout, a strong tasting and aromatic dark brew. Food wise, we had the pulled pork sandwich and the Korean Style Brisket. Both were equally superb. Service was simply superb. Overall, one of the nicest brewers we've been to in some time. Met up with locals friends here for some post food brew. The beer was decent, not great. The sour-meh There was a concert upstairs & the place was packed. The barkeep gave me a solid book recommendation. I love the general space/ family style seating. I didn't see the bill but prices seemed average for the area. By the time we wrapped up our single pour, it was dead quiet, with only 1 other occupied table. [ETA: EXCELLENT follow up from the business. I absolutely would go back and give em another go. Also, I think I saw a farmers market type area on exit but nobody in my group would let me go nose around. Bah, I need better friends.]

Visited on 7/19/26 with my wife and dog. Drove up from Rhode Island after seeing the menu,…read moreavailable beers, and learning they were dog friendly. We arrived and sat at a picnic table with an umbrella so our pup could be in the shade. We were having a great time, so excited to be there and amped to try their current taps. Just as our apps were being brought out, a gust of wind lifted the umbrella clear out of the table, spilling my wife's drink and sending the heavy metal umbrella pole directly into my face and chest HARD. My wife, the server, and I were all stunned for a moment. Wife thought I was bleeding until we realized it was rust on my face and chest from the pole. Server asked if I was okay, clearly feeling a little awkward, and with my hand to my face I said "I think so? If I'm not bleeding, I guess?, still totally stunned and feeling some pain. Face throbbing, my wife asked for an ice pack, and the server brought us one. We totally understand that it was a freak accident, and that it wasn't our server's fault. But it got awkward from there as the crew working became avoidant. The girl that sat us saw me teary eyed from the pain, holding the ice pack to my face and asked if we were okay... but that was it. The atmosphere quickly became awkward, and considering the pain I was in combined with feeling totally weird from the staff, we asked for a box to take our uneaten food to go. Server brought our check and we were a little surprised to see that we were still charged for the drinks (one of which had spilled because of the umbrella) and the food. We paid cash, still left a nice tip, and left, wanting to get out of the sun and keep an eye on the swelling. We were really disappointed in how the situation was handled by the crew. We weren't looking for our apps to be comped, but it would have been nice for a manager to come by, apologize, offer to refill my wife's beer, and maybe move us to a different table since we were no longer in the shade. The team didn't go around and check the other tables to make sure the umbrellas were safe and secure, either, which was shocking considering what had just happened. We were really looking forward to hanging out, trying a little bit of everything off the menu, buying some cans or growlers to take home... but we left with a swollen, bruised face and chest and an uneaten $90 box of food that we ended up tossing because the mood was completely ruined. We rarely leave a negative review anywhere, but I guess this is just a PSA to check your picnic table umbrella if you sit outside, and hopefully a learning opportunity for management in how to improve customer service and safety for patrons.
