What can I say? Dr. Sands and his entire staff are the best!! The most able and kind people in Beverly Hills. You walk into a beautiful office in the heart of a the Triangle, with celebrity pictures on the wall... and then you are greeted my a warm, bright, smiling Janina. Justin waves and smiles too, and you're on your way. Into one of many private rooms, with the most comfortable chairs I've ever been in at a dentist's office. There are TVs in every room, and they will get you anything you need to make you comfortable: water, a pillow, whatever you need. Each and every staff member is kind and cool, I swear to God!! I've never had such a good time at a dentist, in and out fast, but sometimes I even linger to chat a bit. That's why I've been going here for years, because it feels like a place I want to hang out-- at the dentist's office, are you kidding me!? I really appreciate Dr Anna Lisa, Janina, and the staff at Dr Sands. For some reason, they always make me laugh during appointments (which is a good thing as dental can be stressful). I had a toothache and they got me right in to X-ray and test the tooth. They walked me next door and scheduled a same day appointment for an Endodontic evaluation. Fortunately no root canal needed, and appreciate the effort they made (and always make). I see Dr Anna Lisa for dentals and she is always kind and treats me not just like a patient but also a friend. I had a very strange experience at this office. My first clue should have been when the last sheet of the information form asked if I wanted plastic surgery (a choice for everything). I was a new patient. I was referred by a very good friend who is a doctor in Beverly Hills. After paying over $1300 for x-rays and a cleaning (the hygienist was really nice) I was told I had two infected root canals and needed 3 new crowns plus my recent crowns were no good and should be replaced. Also, that one root canal was so infected I would loose the tooth and might be able to have a dental implant! They brought in an endodontist from next door who I couldn't really even see since he didn't come around to introduce himself. They also kept telling me they could "just knock me out" and do all of the work at the same time. I left feeling depressed and not really sure what had just happened. I know the doctor does good work but I felt like I was being scammed big time! I went to a wonderful endodontist in Beverly Hills for a second opinion. I have already had the one root canal re-done (pain free and awake!) and had a new crown, no implant or missing tooth! He told me I had beautiful teeth too! Not impressed. read more

I just downgraded them from two stars to one. The tooth they damaged a few years ago had to be extracted and I had to have an implant. Total cost 6.5 thousand plus the 2.5K I paid them for the crown! If you are considering them, find someone else. read more

The best dentist I've ever been to, and I'll tell you why: I needed major surgery done on my teeth and was desperately seeking a good dentist to handle my situation. Luckily, I heard about Kevin Sands and his Beverly Hills office and after some dental sessions I'm positive I made the best choice possible. My surgery seemed a little difficult to me but the staff took care of me and made it so that what seemed like a difficult and scary process wasn't that bad after all. Had the worst experience at this dentist office , just like the other poster stated " dr sands is disgustingly pushy" and has the worst attitude .After having a disagreement with this man, because he did not want to do his job , and charged me 29 k total for 9 veneers . expected to be treated kindly and leave satisfied today . He asked me to sign my rights away before giving the check back, and I was left with temporary fake teeth for the second week ! the temps broke causing food to get trapped and I can't go back to this office to fix ! What a relief when I came out feeling...moreso looking like it was my 28th birthday...what a difference sparkly whites make! I look and feel so good! Just got my teeth whitened by Dr. Sands. Total instant gratification. Very worth it. Awesome. I was in and out in about an hour. They explained the whole procedure as they went along. It was a piece of cake. I actually nodded off because it was surprisingly quite relaxing. Afterward my teeth looked really white and natural (even after years of coffee!!!) Didn't have any discomfort. You feel a little warmth while it's going on, but I didn't have any pain during or after. My boss's cute assistant noticed my white teeth the next day too. BONUS.
