I was in the market for a car loan and I shopped around to find the best interest rate and maximum loan I could get. When I went to keypoint I spoke with Sam who handled opening opening my checking account. Since he already had my info on file all he needed was my pay stubs and he took care of the rest. I would not recommend using the as they will have unexpected charges to your bill and will not be helpful when you call and try to figure out why these fees were added to bill. I have been a Keypoint customer for 20+ years and after today I am questioning why I ever banked anywhere else! I just opened accounts for both sons along with debit cards (teens can have their own name on) and it was easy peezy! The staff is so helpful, the process was quick and they explained everything crystal clear. This after getting the runaround at US Bank whose customer service is garbage. I applied and they came back saying I am approved for 15,000 credit card. I called to confirm and was told by very rude customer service in underwriting that I was declined I told her that why I was approved and now you tell me I am declined she didn't have a answer. Now I have a inquiry on my credit report for nothing I won't recommend this credit union they really don't know anything and very unhelpful. read more

Once we stepped in the door, we were treated like long lost friends ! We are refinancing our house with a Jumbo conforming loan and getting 3.375% for 30 years!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!!! Then we signed up for a FREE checking and FREE savings account!! We are having direct deposit into our account, so they said because we are doing direct deposit of $1000 a month , they are GIVING US FOR FREE $200!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS??? I've never recommended a bank but totally endorse KPCU! My whole family banks there and we've had auto loans and home loans with them. They helped by children get credit cards when they went to college. They know us by name. I actually go into the bank just to do my banking and say hi. Sam is the man. Had a different loan officer who gave us some pretty vague instructions for purchasing a car. Went to the car dealership, identified a car to purchase, but was told they don't accept Keypoint and had to go to the bank for a cashier's check.
