I absolutely LOVE this credit union! So I used to belong to the big chain banks like Wells Fargo and Bank of America but I got so fed up with all the fees and poor service that I decided it's time for me to switch to a smaller credit union environment for all of my banking. This was a great choice which I'm very happy about! Everyone who works there is so personable and really nice! I love Angela and Ken who's been serving me since day one. They always help me whenever I need it. I had to go in the branch today to stop payment on a check and they even waived my stop payment fee. I know BofA or Wells would never do this for me. I love the small personable feel you get when you go into the branch. Although I don't need to go in there often because I do most of my banking online now, my experience with them makes me want to go in more often just to see Angela and Ken because they are not only helpful but really cool people! Last but definitely not least, this year they started a new program for kids where on their birthday they can go into the branch and grab as many quarters as they can from a jar with one hand. The amount of quarters you get will be credited to their bank account. My daughter and son absolutely LOVED this and they were so excited when they got to do it. This is what I'm talking about. Customer service is always on point but more importantly they are all about treating their customers with respect and doing good things for us. My husband had to call into their member service line over the weekend and ended up feeling like crap with the rep who helped us because he would talk over us instead of explaining the whys so we would understand what we could or couldn't do. By the end of the call I just felt so disappointed in the bank that we chose for our banking needs. So I emailed Sam, who we had opened our accounts with. I just wanted to share our experience with him not expecting any response. Just had a terrible experience dealing with Ken Nakamura and the Key Point Dublin branch. While finalizing a car deal, Ken gave both the car dealership and buyer the green light to drive off with the car on a Saturday morning. Paperwork/buyers order was signed and emailed to Ken, along with the buyer signing the title. He stated that everything was good to go, and the car was driven off the lot. Days later the buyer receives an email from Ken about not being able to finalize the deal due to approval amount. He then attempted to solicit an application for a personal loan for the remaining difference, offering it as a "solution". Once again this is while the buyer is already off enjoying living life in her new vehicle. Now both the car dealership and customer are left cleaning up Ken's and Key Point's mess. Not even an apology, or an offer of assistance with resolving this huge blunder when our office spoke with the manager and underwriter. Please use caution while dealing with Key Point and Ken Nakamura FSR III NMLS# 1505978. We will be reaching out to the higher ups at Key Point, hoping that a lesson can be taught and this won't ever happen again.
