There were nothing but young kids working and when I asked why it was taking so extremely long the kid kept telling me they were out of extra crispy chicken breasts, which I didnt order. They had a ridiculous unorganized mess of receipts all over the counter. I witnessed more than one person inquire about their order only to be told the receipt had fallen off the counter so the order had been overlooked. Poor kid working was so flustered he started telling people to just go across the parking lot to taco bell. My husband has tried the drive thru here 3 times. Each time he has received incomplete orders. A call to management does nothing because they offer a credit "for next time" but have no way of honoring that. Wow I wish I would have read the reviews prior to stopping here. The service staff is not very friendly and very slow we walked in there was only two other people already eating when we got here and it took 4 minutes before we were greeted. The store was dirty, dirty tables not cleaned off, the floors are filthy and all around not very well maintained. The food was salty hamburger buns kept falling apart whenever you would grab them. I gave this one star because it was the lowest to choose from. It would be nice if the management took their job seriously and addressed some of these issues. I worked in restaurant management for 10 years with Darden industries and I would have lost my job if one of my restaurants looked this way. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Update: my son and I came for after school snack and shared a 3-pc meal. The service was immediate and friendly enough. The food was prepared quickly and served as ordered and hot. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the root beer is made on premises and with real sugar as opposed to HFCS which is we do not consume. It was nice to enjoy the root beer of my childhood with my son. As I was looking around to take note of the cleanliness, an employee came out to mop the floor. I'd give the cleanliness a 9 out of 10. The tile is in need of a little repair as is the front of the counter, but all in all it is well kept up. The server put the sporks and handi-wipe on the tray, so we only had to grab napkins. That was appreciated. I've updated my review to reflect obvious new management and staff. Well done KFC. Nice comeback. Old review: I'm sitting here waiting to order. It's been over 12 minutes and the only reason I haven't left is that there is a pick-up truck behind me. Oh wait, it's now 13 minutes and we've finally ordered. What could possibly be taking so long? Every time I'm here, it takes almost an entire decade to get food. I wish I could say I was exaggerating. I pulled up, no one in front of me. I was greeted with a hello, please wait. Thats just me I guess. Also how many times I went and the soda machine was broken! At least 5 times over the summer. The last time I went with my husband. It was 7:00 at night. Two people in front of us. Already ordered and waiting. We ordered simple meals and went to wait. The floors were sticky when you walked and the tables were dirty and also sticky. The people that ordered in front of us were annoyed and had their child going up to ask when their food would be ready. They told the little girl 5 minutes each time she asked. I got through a whole drink and a half when my husband decided to go up and ask about our food. We ordered a simple famous bowl each and a five dollar fill up for him. We finally got food ten minutes after checking.. it was now almost 8:00. We spent almost an entire hour waiting on our food. Won't likely be back unless it changes in a big way. Normally KFC is ok maybe even good on some days. On this day though there was a whole different animal! A male voice asked if I could hold a second (drive thru I am) ya no worries I say. A females voice came on next, In way to much of a hurry to listen to my order correctly. I thought I was good or maybe ok. At the window a kind gentleman to my scratch (ie money) very polite. Next the young lady with a earing in her cheek, once again in way to much of a hurry! My food was delivered to me, almost thrown at me in a plastic bag with a small box with my chicken and a smashed biscuit and 2 pieces of chicken (not 3 as ordered). Also in the bag there was my two sides all hap-hazard, I asked for butter and honey for my biscuit and was handed 6 packets of honey and told they were out of butter. What, really out of butter! Ok whatever, I'm good got it at home. I'm on my way home, still don't know about the miscounted chicken. More than halfway home, oh ya I got a tasty beverage. Nice large gulp of Pepsi and yuck Pepsi colored soda water. Ya thats what I paid for, dumped out. Yup! That one star summarizes my experience. We stopped in to get an A&W root beer float and a sour patch kids blizzard type of dessert. They were out of both. I ended up ordering some chicken strips....they ended up being so hard to eat, I couldn't bite them or even cut them with my fingers. I don't like to complain, but hunger made me. I went up to the counter and it so happens that there was a gentleman already complaining for the same reason as me. Every time we go in to purchase chicken, they are out of 'dark meat' and have to wait at least 15 minutes to cook. What I don't understand is, when supplies are running low, shouldn't staff start dark meat process earlier so (paying) customers aren't inconvenienced? People see the long line and walk out. If I were the franchisee I'd be upset because that's lost money, but apparently this KFC is making enough money they don't care to improve customer service, replenish food supply when it dwindles down to a certain quantity AND sticky/dirty tables, chairs and floors aren't regularly swiped down. Came in simply do to the fact that the Taco Bell across the street was packed and busy. The last time I've been to this restaurant was probably 3-4 years ago and the food then was poor. On this night I ordered the 2 for 6 deal; got the famous bowl and 3 pc. tenders and a regular cheese curds. I had low expectations for the food but didn't matter much because I was hungry but once at home, I was quite surprised. The tenders were crispy and the famous bowl was very good! I like this location, it is conveniently close to my house. I've been here about 4 times in last 2 months. Sometimes it needs upkeep, staff could do better with the clean up. The food is the quality you expect from any other KFC but sometimes the wait is a little long. I recommend they hire additional staff. read more
