Easy location right on Main St. Plenty of parking during the day (I've not been there at night)…read more It's accessible for all as well. We were greeted right as we walked in. I informed them our friend might have his certified veteran's service dog and with ease she knew a good place for us, so the dog could be comfortable and lay down if needed. Very veteran friendly restaurant. My dad loved it here for that reason. Glad he was able to try it before he passed away. They treated him with the utmost respect. Our server was friendly and fast on her feet! She patiently waited for everyone to make their decisions and listened carefully to customizations for the sandwiches and sides. Our beverages never went empty! She was awesome. Our food was fresh and portions were perfect. Not too much and not too little. We didn't leave hungry nor overfull. I loved the french fries. My haddock pieces were nice as well. My friend's Reuben looked amazing. My husband got the special - Poutine burger and said the gravy was nice. The fries weren't on it, which threw us off a bit, but the cheese curds (melted) and the gravy were nice. I loved my sangria. I got the last one ;) my friend enjoyed her spicy Margarita, and my friend got the alcohol cider on tap! Restrooms were clean. Overall a great experience.

Service has always been consistently great. Friendly, prompt, detail oriented and caring about our experience. We have never had a bad interaction with any of the staff members. They are hardworking customer focused team. Good with children and elderly folks. The food has been consistently good, temperature, quantity, flavors, textures and presentation. We have tried their burgers, pizza, bowls and appetizers. We really like their brussels sprouts, including our 3 and 6 year old family members. There's a wonderful sweet savory flavor, a nice crisp to the outside and very tender inside. The burgers and fries are very satisfying and flavorful. Most recently I discovered (realized) you can add mac and cheese to a burger. It was yummm!!! The wings, are plentiful, crispy and juicy. Be careful, because the internal temperature is VERY HOT when they first arrive. The past few times we have been the restaurant was very comfortable, not too cold or too hot. They have the ability to accommodate the 6 of us with ease on the times we have gone. This is definitely one of the core options when we are in town. Great for our whole family.

I took my wife and daughters here for cocktails to celebrate the holiday weekend. Despite a restaurant/bar that was fairly empty, it was impossible to get any member of the staff to acknowledge we were there. Once served, the drinks were excellent but it would be a very long time before anyone returned. Despite all four of us sitting with empty glasses for at least 20 minutes, the bartender and other wait staff or employees walked by us without even making eye contact. It almost became comical how we were being ignored. It didn't even seem like they were understaffed since we saw quite a few employees walking around endlessly but not seeming to accomplish anything... especially since the establishment was basically empty by the end. The final straw was when a lady who appeared to be an owner or manager arrived behind the bar. She walked by our empty drinks to have the bartender pour her a large shot of tequila (?) with a lime and down it in front of us and then proceed to chat with other employees who were doing nothing. When we finally paid our check and got up to leave, she looked at us and said something like, "thanks for coming, have a nice night!" Truly baffling. I have heard the food is good but I am having a hard time thinking of why I would put myself through that experience again.

Downtown Brunswick is tough on parking. After driving around a bit, I dropped my wife off out front, and then landed a space across the street with a quick u-turn when traffic was unexpectedly quiet for a moment. But traffic stopped to allow my daughter and I to cross the street even when they had the green light. That wouldn't have happened in Florida. I love being back home in Maine. It was a little quiet in the restaurant, though they had a large group assembling towards the back. Our server was great and the meal was fairly quick getting to us. My wife and I had the Reuben and our daughter had her usual burger, all of us with fries. It was all good. Restaurant prices being what they are nowadays, you can expect to pay at least $20 a person, even for lunch - more if you have real drinks (we had ice water). We took half of our sandwiches home, so that makes the cost less mortifying. I don't know that we will go back when we take our girl to lunch again, because even though it was all fine, it didn't knock our socks off, a necessity when you think of all the choices there are in the area. But I would recommend it to a friend if asked about it.

Sorry, fellas. This sushi is extremely average at best. Had to get the sushi "yacht" for two. But the nigiri was kind of weird. The rice tasted warm. Not like, perfect temperature from the hands of the itamae, but weird tepid lukewarm sitting around rice. The sashimi didn't seem so fresh to me, and sushi grade quality was questionable. The roll also seemed to be at an odd temperature. Overall I was rather disappointed. The best part for me was the sake. But my date (outside of her comfort zone) did seem to like it overall. I don't want to be negative, but this is definitely a "won't visit again" for me.

My wife and I shared three maki: vegetable tempura, inari (sweet marinated tofu), and avocado dream. We would love to return to try some of their many other vegetarian options. The vegetable tempura roll, which contained broccoli, green bean, sweet potato, onion tempura, and sweet brown glaze, was probably my favorite. This roll was huge, so open wide! The avocado dream was a close second, with sweet potato, avocado, and cream cheese. It's tempura fried with a truffle mayo on top, which gave it a really unique flavor! Though not as fancy as the two specialty maki, the inari maki was delicious too. The service was prompt and the kitchen was efficient, so we had plenty of time to get to our next destination without worrying. I'd love to return if I'm ever back in Brunswick!

The place was absolutely mobbed with people and I was not quite sure how we were going to have time to eat prior to bowling. Our waitress (and it kills me that I can't remember her name) was fantastic. She recognized the urgency of our situation and worked at lightning speed to get us our meal and then followed up with us numerous times as we moved to the bowling event. She was absolutely perfect! The food was excellent. Bowling was a blast..... candle pin bowling is so much more difficult than it looks, though! About half way through our game, our lane experienced a fatal mechanical problem. This bowling alley is an historic gem and the machinery that runs the lanes is definitely "old school". Ownership was very accommodating and gave us a gift certificate to come back and bowl again another time.
