I stopped by this KFC about an hour before closing on a Saturday night, and the whole experience was frustrating and confusing. When I pulled up to the drive-through, the woman at the window told me their register was down. She then proceeded to tell me the limited chicken they had available--two fillets and some hot wings. At first, I thought maybe this meant I could still order if I paid cash, since she was listing options. But when I asked, it was explained that they couldn't sell me any food. So why have the lights on? Why list what food you have? If you can't sell it, don't tease your customers with the menu rundown. The whole exchange left me feeling like they either didn't know what was going on, or just didn't care. My wife and I were driving for several hours and wanted to go to a drive-thru to grab something to eat. We had not been to a KFC in a while so when we saw the sign we took the exit to come here. The billboard advertised gizzards and livers which my wife likes so she was happy that she was going to get some of these. I on the other hand in more sane and don't eat things like that. At the drive-thru window when I place the order for my wife they said they did not have any gizzards but they could provide it for livers only so that's what we ordered. They asked if we wanted to make it a meal and we said yes and ordered her two sides. I then told him what I wanted to drink and they said meals do not include drinks. SAY WHAT!?!?!? Since when does a meal not include a drink? Anyway I ordered a three-piece chicken, chicken only. I requested three thighs and was told that would not be a problem. At the drive-thru the young lady who helped us was not impolite but she was more concerned in keeping up with the conversation she was involved in with her co-workers which was apparently quite humorous, then and actually dealing with us. We got our order and left to pull over and eat before we continued on the road. Fried chicken while driving on the freeway is not something that sounds fun for me. The first piece of chicken I took out was an overcooked thigh that was hard and dry. In my life I've never had a thigh that was dry so I have to give them kudos for being successful in that. The second thigh was unfortunately just the same. When I got to the third thigh I was shocked because it was actually a breast pretending to be a thigh. Talk about dry as a desert. I don't like chicken breast in the first place much less one that's overcooked when I specifically didn't want it and I wanted a thigh. My wife said that her livers were good to give credit where credit is due. Because this was on the road while we were driving we won't be back but if it was local we'd still not go back. read more

My husband and I had a great experience today. We ordered pot pies that were ready quickly and oh so very good! They were loaded with chicken and had a crust that was perfect. As good as they were, that was not the best part of today's visit. Not only was the cashier super nice, but I can't remember a time when a manager was as courteous and helpful as the one we met today. The only problem is that we didn't get his name because he certainly deserves to be recognized for his wonderful service! The next time we're in Burlington, we will definitely be eating pot pies at the Kentucky Fried Chicken next to Granddaddy's! read more

Ordered 2 bar b Que Korean bowels online.... It said it was ready for pick up, they had us park for almost 10 min waiting for our food, then they come out and practically throws the bag at us.. we tell him he forgot our drinks and he totally ignored us.. I went inside had to way 5 more minutes for the cups.. then we get home and the food is cold.. there's only 4 nuggets and a handful of fries in our bowels (could of been a 1/2 handful) our bowels were pretty much empty.. we wound up making lunch at home. Too often people stop long enough to make a review for making a complaint. It's unfortunate if anyone has not chosen to come to this KFC based on old reviews of which there's very few. My daughter and I stopped here on the way back to the mountains and expected the run of the mill KFC rinky-dinky little chicken legs we usually get everywhere else, so.... I bought her four, because usually that's the equivalent of one normal size chicken leg. However... Here, they were HUGE, juicy & the batter was better than I've ever had it at any other KFC and lots of it! I'm so picky, but this place has wowed me!! I'm sitting in the parking lot and literally didn't feel right about pulling away until I give this KFC drive-through kudos to whoever cooked the chicken tonight....Wow! You have outdone yourself!! This location needs to be shut down. When I walked in the cashier was looking at something on her phone and she did not even acknowledge me. She stayed on her phone and raised up one finger without saying a word. I could see two other staff in the back standing having a conversation. Nobody else was inside when I came in. Two friends of the cashier came in after me and they stayed at the counter conversing. When I went to sit down all the tables and floor were dirty. I had to wipe down my own table. I went up to ask for more napkins and the cashier handed me a few all balled up. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

Corporate KFC sent me a 10 dollar voucher for my troubles. Nice gesture but the problem in Burlington might still exist.

Be cautious of getting your meal thru drive thru. A 7.00 dollar meal looks like the attached picture. This is unexceptable. Should've gone back but already down the road. read more

First thing I saw was the bathroom. Please CLEAN IT! The second thing was I asked for the Nashville Chicken Little twice and the guy put in BBQ. Then he went to the cook area to prepare my order after having handled money. I had to say OUT LOUD I hope he puts on gloves when I saw him handle food. He heard and then put them on before preparing my order. Nice young man, but clearly has not been trained correctly. Also, the place had food on the ground and no one picked it up. Front counter guy wished he was somewhere else. Ordered a meal that came with a side. He didn't ask me what I wanted and gave me mashed potatoes. Asked for unsweetened tea and uncaringly said they didn't have any. Place looked barren. Had an uncomfortable vibe as soon as I walked in. Got a refund and left. Will never go back. read more
