I had a very disappointing experience at the 11th Ave KFC. Arrived early (15min) and once I arrived a young hispanic man (I think: Pablo) couldn't find the order at first, waited while he could research where my order was than was told I had to wait 20min. After I placed the order online and wanted dark meat only with my bucket meal. Which there was no options to add this request therefore, I arrived 15min early to get my request in and to be sure they could accommodate us. I didn't mind the wait since I knew I had a special request. Waited my 20min; I arrived on time to be told the manager told the coworker he would not be able accommodate me. I then asked for the managers name (Alexandria) that told him this and he said, I don't feel comfortable telling me. She was standing right next to him with her back to me. I told Pablo I needed it because I'd be reporting this incident. Once she heard this she turned around and finally told me; Alexandra. Apparently, Paublo did not communicate with Miss Alexandra. The only option she gave me was to wait another 20min's. kidding me? Said, sorry not a great idea. I have hungry mouths to feed and decided to leave with whatever they gave me which was the original order less the dark meat. Fine, I go back home just to find out they shorted us a piece of chicken. Normally I don't rate fast food chains, but wanted to share this visit! I've come here a handful of times over the years. Hit or miss, but that's pretty accurate for fast food. This time I ordered a #6- comes with 3 piece chicken strip basket, 1 side, drink, cookie, biscuit, and sauce. I got the butter, honey, silverware, napkins, and all the food. I even added an extra side for $2.99. Anyways, I get home and the one chicken strip was decent size. The other two were tiny! And the one I got was sliced in half! So it wasn't even a full piece. Very disappointing and kinda gross to see something not whole upon purchase! So I didn't eat that piece cause it grossed me out thinking it was eaten on or returned or whatever may have happened! Avoid this location. Aside from the old dry chicken they served, they services were abysmal. I will not return to this location or any other due to my experience. I went through the drive through and ordered an order for my family of five. I live 17 minutes from the location and upon arriving at home it became clear the order had multiple missing items and no sauces. I immediately called the location to discuss the issues and was told by Isaiah (on-site manager) I'd need to inconveniently come back to the location with my bank card in order to be refunded. Although it was a hassle to travel back I returned to the store, but upon my arrival I was informed by Isaiah that he did an investigation and couldnt refund me anymore. I asked what he meant by an investigation and he explained that it consisted of simply speaking to his General Manager, Shantell, whom is the employee who took my order and messed it up. He told me that he was informed that if he refunded me that he would lose his employment. I asked to speak to her and he said she had departed and headed to vacation in Las Vegas, which made me feel like she was in a hurry to get off work and was likely a reason my order was riddled with issues. The meal was horrible and not enjoyable at all. The service was even worse. Both the General Manager and Store Manager didn't exhibit leadership skills that show the ability to run a location or lead a crew, let alone serve customers or keep their word. If it was any more raw, this chicken would have crossed the road. We were picking up our kid from camp and we decided to swing by to get something to eat. Simple stuff, chicken sandwiches and a bucket of chicken. The sandwiches were fine however the bucket...a whole other story. First when we opened the bucket, it looked like something was wrong with the chicken (look at the pictures). The breading was all wet and falling off the skin...should have been the first sign. To crisp it up, we put it in the air fryer, which helped but it was still a little soggy. But I have eaten KFC all my life, so I wasn't let a little sogginess in the breading stopped me. It should have. I bit in and I felt a little different texture than normal. When I opened the the chicken up, it was red on the inside and pink blood was flowing out of it. I see from other reviews that underdone food is a common theme for this location. I have never had this happen at other locations. Anyhow, I called (6:30pm on the 3rd of Sept) the manager and let her know that the chicken was underdone. She said that we should bring the chicken back, across town, so that they could look at it. I guess they were gonna call CSI and investigate how that chicken was so raw. When I stated that it was across town she basically said "Oh, well" she didn't have anything to compare it to. I told her I had a picture of it, and she said "that doesn't do me any good". I stated that I would just go ahead and put it on Yelp instead of getting back into my car and travelling across town and she hung up. Can you say customer service super star!!! Anyhow, just probably lost a customer for life. Don't need to ever go back to KFC if this is the type of managers that you are going to hire. Thanks for the memories, but no thanks going forward. It's been quite a while since I visited this location. After having a couple of so-so visits, I decided to avoid them. I thought it's been awhile certainly they have had enough staff change over, it would have improved. But alas it has not. I ordered a 3 piece chicken tender meal with mashed potatoes and gravy and a dr pepper. Somehow they got mixed up I'm the difference between mashed potatoes & gravy and French fries. I was so looking to the mashed potatoes after a very long stressful day at work. I really wanted their mashed potatoes & gravy. What I got was french fries. I guess that's what get for not checking the order before I left When I got home and opened up the meal I found luke warm soggy french fries 2 decent sized tenders and 1/2 of a tender warmish. I was so disappointed. I can't believe they not only screwed up my order but shorted in portions of chicken well. I doubt I will ever go back. I did call the restaurant to voice my disappointment. She even got me with her smooth right out the door sales selling some yummy cakes. I can tell this kid loves to make her community happy and serve KFC like a proud employee. I always have such an amazing customer service experience from this young lady. I come to this location specifically because of the attitude she reflects and puts towards her customers. This kid by deserves a raise and should be handed a pat on the back. As a delivery driver and as a customer, I've never had a worse experience. Every single fast food place I deliver form allows drivers to go through the drive through. They didn't tell me until I had waited in a very long line, that I had to come in to retrieve my order. There were no signs, no notes on the door dash app. Nothing. The people working inside just seemed out out to be helping there. I had not been in a KFC for close to 25 years before stopping at this location on our way from Bend to Florence. It was well past lunch time so there were more employees than patrons. Being unfamiliar with the menu and looking for something to snack on, it took us a few minutes to make our selections which were Chicken Littles (chicken tenders that included pickles and mayonnaise on a sesame seed bun). Our order taker suggested upgrading to a $5 fill-up, but we were trying to go light so we declined. The chicken littles turned out to be decent and just enough to hold us over to dinner. read more

I ordered an 8 piece bucket through their website to take advantage of a promo that they were offering. I placed the order an hour before their closing time, and arrived about 15 minutes later. When I told the person at the drive thru that I was picking up an online order, he took my name and checked me in, then proceeded to tell me that they were out of chicken. I asked for clarification (as chicken is the only thing they sell, I was a bit confused). A female worker took the mic and said that I would not be getting anything, as they were "out of chicken" and weren't going to cook any more (again, almost an hour before they close). I asked if I would still be charged and at first she said no, then said yes and that I will have to call their company customer service line for a refund, and she could not cancel my order or provide a refund there. Pretty annoyed at this point, I pulled over in view of their drive thru and proceeded to watch 2 cars behind me place orders and pick stuff up at the window. To top it all off, the number in my order's confirmation email isn't even a valid number, so a refund is not looking very likely. KFC has gone down hill if the location is any indication. On our last two occasions that we have been here the food is over cooked, the piece are much smaller than they use to be and the folks there don't really seem to care. My brother-in-law just recently died and a neighbor brought us some KFC from this same location and I could not believe it. Take for example the chicken wings: they were about an inch and half square. The other piece were equally small. I don't know what has happened at KFC but we use to love it. I find that we get better chicken at Albertsons or Wince now. They need to check out the PopEye Chicken and Biscuits in Salem to see what a good chicken place is like. I am really sad to have to write this type of review but I can wait no longer. It use to be a favorite place for us to go but no more. We are finished with KFC. read more
