14 minutes of waiting for a half full box of fries

I don't know how this place is still in business. Every time I come here they're out of everything. Almost every car that comes the drive-through gets pulled into an empty parking space out front to wait for their food which is usually a significant wait. I understand being understaffed, but this is no longer fast food. According to the time stamp on our receip, we waited for 15 minutes for 2 famous bowls, 4 piece tenders and some fries.

Been wanting to try the crispy chicken sandwich after I saw a poll of the best chicken sandwiches. I believe KFC came in 4th. Upon entry the restaurant was clean and inviting. Was approached immediately. We were the only ones in there at the time. It only took a few minutes for our order. The sandwich was crispy, totally a regular breast, not pressed and formed. Almost too much chicken for me, but it was really good. The spicy was spicy enough without being overbearing. I loved the brioche bun. My son got the regular. We both really enjoyed our food. I ordered the mashed potatoes as a side and we shared, although KFC has always been skimpy on their serving sizes of sides. The staff was extremely friendly making it an enjoyable experience even if it was fast food. At 3.99 this was a great sandwich comparable to Chick-fil-A.

I went to the KFC at 4940 Southwestern... I went to the KFC at 4940 Southwestern Blvd in Hamburg NY. I placed my order online for an 8 pc Chicken Extra Crispy. When I looked at the order it was Original Recipe. I went back into the store and said there was a problem with my order. The sales person said there was nothing they could do. When I said I didn't want my order, they picked up the bag, threw it in the garbage in front of me and told me to take my complaint onto KFC online. Never again! TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!! KFC was my favorite back in Indonesia. A bit luxury too. If my mom ordered it we were like so excited. Oh memory... come here 17 years ago, kind of disappointed that they kind of taste different but I still like it. Fast forward to recent years. Time to time I'll go out of loyalty until I found Popeyes. I feel Popeyes is better and closed to yummy fried chicken I remember which ironic because they are not KFC! The other thing the closest KFC is near South Gate plaza so inconvenient. When they open in front of Lowe's in Hamburg near my house, I'm super excited. We went to drive through and I actually enjoyed it. But then the latest visit it was at 8:30 at night the lobby closed at 9. When we said we want to eat there, she said we can only sit on high table! What? Seriously. We have 1/2 hrs. Whatever. Then came the food so unappetizing look. Probably old one. The leg look over cooked. Biscuit look pathetic. The thigh-is better than the leg. The mashed potatoes edible, gravy is the saving grace. Long story short I might just be done with KFC. I might just stay with Popeyes now. So long KFC it's been nice to know you. But it's been long overdue, it's time for us to go our separate way. I found something better. Good luck on your future endeavor. I won't be back. Take this 2 stars as thank you for fond memory of my childhood.

We were the only ones in the room so it was great to be as loud as we wanted without disturbing anyone. They have a large parking lot but it can be easy to miss since it's by one of the roundabout's. I had the Beef on Weck wrap. Asked our waitress about it since it's been a while since I was there. She said it was one of the newer items and is very popular. The beef is wrapped in a flour tortilla with provolone, creamy horseradish, salt & caraway seeds & finished in a panini press. It comes with chips and a pickle but I upgraded to fries. My choices were straight cut, waffle or sweet potato so I opted for waffle fries. I would definitely order it again. Everyone enjoyed their food, too busy talking to take pics but some of their options were the beer cheddar soup, corned beef quesadilla, burger, chicken sandwich, roast beef on white bread with mashed potatoes & gravy. Their rye bread is baked in-house and you can purchase it just like one of my friends did.

We went with the regular sauce (they also have a sweet sauce but we both dislike sweet sauce). It was great! The pizza was well done with nicely cup and char pepperoni, and the cheese were good quality (Sorrento now rebranded as Galbani) unlike some pizza places that use subpar mozzarella cheese. There was definitely double cheese and double pepperoni, but we both agreed that it was just too much cheese and next time we would just get regular cheese but still with double pepperoni. Well, there was a Sunday Bills game a few weeks later so we decided to call ahead to place an order with the double pepperoni. We called on Saturday morning and paid over the phone and everything. Planned pickup around halftime so hubby could go pick it up. We got home and were severely disappointed. It looked like double cheese with regular pepperoni, and the pizza looked undercooked where there was absolutely no char on the cheese or the pepperoni. At that price point, we decided to call and complain (which is something we pretty much never do). They offered to make us a new one and we offered to bring back the bad one, but they said to keep it or toss it. Hangry Hubby left during the second half to go pick up the second pizza which he opened to see while there and it looked the same as the first one! It was busy and by that point he was mentally done. He came home, we unhappily ate some of the underbaked pizza that was ridiculously cheesy with not enough pepperoni, and hubby swore to never order from there again. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures from both times for visuals cause that's how I usually am with pizzas - I see it, I forget about everything else and I eat it, immediately. LOL One thing to note - hubby did say that the first time he went there, there was a guy who looked like he might have been the owner (or at least someone in charge) that made the delicious pizza. And on the day of the Bills game he didn't see that guy. So, perhaps that's the difference maker. However, at $35-40 a pizza, we are NOT willing to deal with the inconsistent quality. This was extremely disappointing because hubby has not found a pizza place he likes in Hamburg since we moved here 7 years ago (our absolute favorite is the original Santora's in Depew, or Imperial or La Nova). So, back to not having any decent pizza places we can order from in Hamburg again... blargh!

I will say that I've had several and when there are that many sauces and flavors, some are bound to be better than others. However, the important thing is that they cook the wing properly to get a crispy exterior and meaty, juicy interior. No chewy, gummy skin, and the interior remains juicy. It's an art that most establishments, even in Western New York, are not able to achieve consistently but O'Neill's always nails. The Smitty sauce was good, as is the traditional Buffalo sauce. I was a bit underwhelmed when I had the Jamaican Jerk wings. It did not say on the menu that it was a dry rub, and it listed it as 2 pepper hot. If it was a sauce rather than a rub, I couldn't tell, it was not saucy, and it was not spicy/hot, at least not to my sense of heat. The overwhelming flavor profile I could discern was salt. But like I said, the wing was cooked perfectly so all was good in the end. I'll be back to try the Holy Ghost Pepper sauce and see if I can live up to that challenge.
