I went back recently and still no chicken in their pot pie at this location (other locations no issue). I was blown away at the managers lack of caring about the quality of their pot pies (Terry). She actually told me that no one else has ever complained about the pot pies not having chicken. I know that was BS as you can see my complaint from two years ago. I think they just went away instead of giving feedback to someone that obviously doesn't care and they don't buy from them..........I give up and won't ever go back there as the Manager Terry doesn't care enough to make it right! read more

I knew KFC had gone down hill but didn't realize how much. This location in particular was horrible. First, they didn't have the chicken sandwiches bc they ran out of bread. Then, they only had original chicken. Then, they messed up my order. I could deal with the order being messed up or them being out of the bread but what I couldn't deal with is how old the chicken was. It wasn't very warm and you could tell it had been sitting out for a while bc I had to drain the grease from my chicken with a napkin. It was straight trash. Throw the whole building away! read more

This kfc has the worst customer service. I went to order and observed my chicken when I got it because I seen they gave my the smallest chicken for so much money, I went back in and politely asked the worker Meriam, if it was okay to change my chicken because I wanted to get my money's worth. Upon getting another bucket she just threw the old hard pieces from the back of the rack into my bucket and when I said, thank you she just dropped my bucket on the counter like I was rude to her about it. Went to buy dinner at the KFC Moanalua shopping center on Bougainville Drive. We ordered the $20 fill up which in Hawaii it's $28 plus tax. Meal comes with 8 pieces of extra crispy chicken, 4 biscuits, 2 mashed potatoes with gravy and coleslaw. So I asked for original instead of extra crispy and the lady taking my order said can also I asked instead of coleslaw could we get biscuits instead again she said can. Then we ordered a side order of large potato wedges with ranch dressing. Get home and they get my order WRONG! They give me original chicken but no extra biscuits for coleslaw! They give me my side order of potato wedges as part of my meal. And they never even give me coleslaw. WTF, SMH! Lose money! Only good thing came outta this is we still got dinner. ALOHA read more

This is the worst KFC on island! I typically don't even eat fast food anymore. Yet I found myself here yesterday and it was a bad decision on my end. I've had KFC when I lived in Kapolei and it was delicious and never worried about the after effects. Sooo this location here in the Bougainville shopping center is horrible. Employees do not keep the dinning area clean. There is only 4 tables being used and not busy at all. Every table is dirty with crumbs and sauce. Manager doesn't seem to care about the customers to keep this place in such a condition. read more

This KFC always seems to be out of something. Tonight it's out of salt, pepper and knives. Last time they were out of popcorn chicken and ketchup. Tonight the popcorn chicken was extremely hard and the corn tasted water logged. Just all seemed unappetizing. read more

We used to get really good service through the drive through. Lately, it's been hit and miss. We stopped going for a while and ended going tonight. My husband ordered a three piece meal. He got two pieces. You call their number and it goes to a recording. Maybe too many irate calls? Drove down there to pick up dinner we ordered the family fill up and added the got wings for $6.00, when we arrived home I took everything out of the back and we had no wings. We were the only people in the drive-thru. Now my husband has been trying to call them for over 15 minutes and the phone just rings off the hook. This is unacceptable. read more

I have been to almost all of the KFC's on Oahu. This particular one on Bougainville Dr. is by far the cleanest and better staffed. The chicken is well prepared and even appears more sanitary than at the other Oahu locations I have been. They have chicken pot pies too which I have had a few times. This is my "go to" location for KFC on Oahu. read more

I never ate at kfc much till my husband and I got a quick dinner here about a year ago. At the time my husband sent me in to order to go. It was late and they didn't have enough chicken strips to compete our order. They asked if I minded waiting for some to be made fresh, so I waited. They offered me a complementary drink while I waited and were super friendly! I thought it was nice they cared about a customer waiting when they didn't have to! On another occasion I ordered drive thru and was again surprised at how well the employee knew the menu! He offered me the special to save a few dollars since it included exactly what I wanted. It's just the kind of above and beyond you never receive from fast food chains! I just want to thank the management for hiring and training fabulous employees that make the "experience." I wouldn't ever consider fast food chains an experience...but this kfc really just is! 5 stars! You deserve em! read more

We only return because we love KFC as a brand but I must admit that every time we've visited, except once, they have gotten our order wrong or there was some sort of miscommunication. Today's visit was no different and they forgot to add a drink to my order. In the past they've forgotten to give me food items and when I told them about it before pulling off they told me it should be in the bag and that I should check them all. I did and told her she could check herself if she didn't believe me so she took the bag from me and after examining it, placed my missing item in the bag. Their fruit punch is always watered down (the only reason I get it for my son) and they have recently removed the kid's menu so now you have to buy what you want as a regular meal or a side item. I will say the food is always hot and the employees are usually nice but they are always confused. I would only recommend if you are too lazy to cook and are already out that way, but please check your bags before driving away because it's a bit difficult to pull back through the drive thru. read more

I ordered a bucket of chicken and took it home. Took a bite out of one piece and felt something hard like a rock. Took it out and it indeed looked like a rock. Took the piece out and investigated. There was a piece of skin that kind of curled and found a bunch of little things that looked like pebbles, maybe 6 or 7. Took it back and showed it to the manager. She said she'll have to keep it so they can send it to the corporate lab to have it examined. In the meantime I had called DOH about it. Manager gave me her number and refunded my money. Two weeks later I called to followup. She didn't sound nice. She said the sample is still there, no one came to pick it up. I said I thought you told me that you were going to send it to the lab to be examined. She said yeah but they're supposed to come pick it up. I asked where the lab is and she said "I don't know" So I asked if she had any idea where or how those pebbles got in the food. She said she doesn't know. I wish I could give this establishment a zero! The place was a mess and there was no one inside eating so make us wonder what in the world happened. The cashier was rude and the food took long and came out over cooked. For the price i paid and the whole experience has made me turn a cheek and choose to go to Popeyes!!!!! The chicken here at KFC is just way too small. The only thing that deserves any recognition has to be their Coleslaw! but i thought they were all about the chicken. the worst kfc service EVER.....me and my girlfriend walk in and the first thing we see is the cashier on her cell phone...we make our order...as we are waiting i try to upsize my drink the cashier tells me itll be 50 cents i didnt have it but i keep the original drink but gives me the wrong drink...i tell her about it then with an attitude she corrects the order like it was my fault I didnt pay to much mind to that but as i walk to my table me and my girlfriend can hear her and another co worker playing around in the back... then when we finally get our meal my girlfriends food was cold. She takes it back and ask for a hot meal...they tell her itll be 10 minutes. She says fine. im eating my meal soon as im done her order still wasnt ready...so she decides to get refund as shes making her complaint the shift manger asks her what the problem was. She tells him that his cahsiers service was jus horrible...He turns around and sees the cashier laughing and joking with eachother...then he tells the cashier to come to the front to assist with other customers that came in waiting to be served while my girlfriend was letting him know....then my girlfriend tells him thats exactly what im talking about...and my girlfriend hears one of the customers laughing as if she can relate to what she talking about...so as the shift manager is in process of giving the refund he shorts her money and said the reason being is because the price that is posted on the menu board is incorrect, but whos fault is that....she tries to get higher people in charges number but the only number that the shift manager had was his store managers number she took it down and will proceed in our expierience that we had there....all in all the service sucked the food was cold and there were no apologies or any beneficial suggestions made. read more
