Upon getting to the cashier, the cashier was just unprofessional and trying to rush my order even though i was yhe only one in yhe store ordering. Literally, my family was the onky customer eating in the store. This place downgraded so much. I use to come here all the time when I worked in the area but today was the last straw. Chicken is tasteless. The cashier who was Casie did not complete my drive thru order while giving it to me. And I'm not satisfied with the costumer service as well, she did not check the bags before giving it out to me, and also I wanted extra pickles with my Nashville 3 piece chicken tenders, along with that I was missing a side order of french fries, I didn't get any extra pickles. Or even asked if we we had everything in the bag or if we were missing an order. The cashier was friendly as you could be working at a fast food joint. Our order was ready a couple minutes after we ordered. I don't expect KFC to be amazing food, but I do enjoy their mashed potatoes with gravy and come whenever I have a craving. This is in comparison to back on the mainland: I haven't been to a KFC for many years due to my last experience where the biscuit was still quite raw on the inside. My family and I never had any bad experience with the other fried chicken food chain, Popeyes, so we often went to that instead. My experience on the island has been quite the adventure when trying many of the fast food chains that I've had on the mainland. So my husband and I decided to give the KFC here on the island a go for once. Place looked clean exterior and interior wise. I didn't expect many employees as it wasn't during busy hours. The age bracket of the employees were of older age. No smile but at least nice enough to greet us. We ordered the 12 piece tenders meal with coleslaw, potato wedges, and biscuits with buffalo sauce. I must admit I was worried with how the quality would be for it only took about 5 minutes to receive our order. The chicken tenders were AMAZING! Nicely crisped, not overly seasoned, and not oily. The biscuits were flaky, soft, not overly buttered, and cooked thoroughly. The coleslaw was not drowning in it's own sauce. The potato wedges were just as great. I was much pleased as was my husband. We both thought it was so much better than what we had back at home on the mainland. I didn't eat the coleslaw (my husband doesn't like coleslaw so I had it all to myself...YAY ME!!!) all at once. I was happy that it remained the same throughout the day and the next day. Didn't go soggy one bit. Will definitely be going here more often. Probably a bit more than Popeyes due to being more accessible and more to our taste and liking. read more

We ordered two orders of the chicken sandwich combo on line. When we went to pick up the order they told us that their fountain was not working so we couldn't get any drinks. We asked for a refund for the drinks but they said they couldn't give any online refunds. We were told to go online to get a refund. I went online when I got home and filled for a refund. This is certainly a KFC. This particular KFC was fairly clean, and the staff was both very friendly and helpful. Perhaps my tastes have changed as I have aged, but the pictures of their food always look so much better than the food itself when it arrives. I was persuaded to come here by my companion who insisted upon trying their "chicken with waffles". As a Southerner, I have opinions about chicken-waffles, and these failed to live up to even McDonald's standard as a breakfast menu item. I love KFC, I always have. But this place makes me think otherwise. Our cashier was name Brantley. Actually this guy has made a very bad first impression about two weeks ago. Walking into a restaurant, you know you expect to be greeted with at least a smile. Especially your first time being there. Well, I admit we walked in about 40 minutes before closing time. So I had to basically have to explain to him what I get in the deal! He couldn't even inform us of any choices we had that we could consider about sides. I always get my food to-go just in case I don't finish it all and want to bring it home. Here is what else irritated me. I get that we are taking food "to-go" but honestly it does not mean that I won't be needing any utensils or napkins. We sat at our table just to find out that we had none. I got back up to get some. Walk back to my table to also find out that I didn't get my dam sauce for my popcorn chicken! By now, i'm so pissed off that I don't wanna get back up anymore. I've never dined in, just always get my food to go (absolutely love the chicken & fish twisters). They're never sold out of my Twisters (and if they were, I guess I'd Prob lower my rating too). My spouse ordered for delivery for dinner, and it took them 2 hours just to get it delivered! They pushed back on our food 2x (we checked online every 5minutes) thus causing the waiting period to prolong. We waited so patiently and we were freaking starving. Hungry and very angry, we almost wanted to blow up on the delivery person. We asked for sauces as well but didn't even get a damn sauce for our chicken and side dishes. He looks at me weird, because they made him feel bad. I ordered something else. Shortly after, another customer orders two pot pies after me. They tell him something along the lines of, 'No problem! There will be wait, is that okay?. If so, I'll give you a free drink.' I didn't get offered a wait or a free drink! I was told they were "Sold Out." I went there again today because I received a coupon that said, "Buy a chicken sandwich combo and get a free chicken sandwich. Valid today, Monday 03/05/12 only." I figured I'd give them a second chance. This time, I go to the drive through. I order a chicken sandwich and am told... "Sorry, that one is sold out." I say fine and order a different chicken sandwich and am told, "That one is sold out also." I try to order the third and final selection on the board and am told that one is discontinued. To make a long story short, they ran out of all of their chicken sandwiches, so I drove there for nothing. Who is doing the ordering, because they are doing a horrible job. I had my order written because I was ordering for my shop/office.I have only gone to KFC a few times in my lifetime & that's because whenever I do, there's a mess up. Waikele was the worse when it came to speed & accuracy. Aiea was the worse when it came to quality of food. I was hesitant to even order KFC but what my boss wants, he gets. Amanda at the register was spot on with her customer service. When I arrived she acknowledged me & helped me with placing my order. She took the route that gave me the best value & my order was given 100% correct! The food was yummy & didn't taste like it was sitting under the lamp. She offered to help me to my car being that I had two bags full of food & two trays of drinks, but she had a customer at the counter waiting to order, so I told her to service him first & I didn't mind waiting. She did mind me waiting so she had someone from the back of the house help me out to my car.
