As far as interiors go, it's one of the most urban chic places to eat in Mount Prospect. Taste is a whole another story, as they say. This location has a drive thru and a ton of parking for a rush they may never, ever see. I've only been here a handful of times and either driven through or sat inside. Typically the KFC employees seem to be somewhat happy. Service is decent and food is served promptly and warm. Two menu items I'm not fond of. Their snacker sandwiches which for some reason always taste like something which was frozen and microwaved to warm. (Cold and or sticky centers with wet lettuce) The chicken snacker specifically. Also the special, chicken pot pie which KFC has hoped would steal business from Boston Market but fell short, it's not as good, but almost. I like the review by Laura N. Customer service was terrible. We were not given what we ordered. This was not the first time that this had happened. This time I called and spoke to the girl who took my order. She was extremely disrespectful to a KFC customer. She blamed it all on me. When I asked her name, she hung up on me. Very poor customer service. read more

I always come in and get my 3 piece combo with 2 sides. This time they charge charged me $2 extra for my second side and when I came back to ask about it they won't even change it. I have always had excellent fried chicken at this KFC location. Today at approximately 6pm I ordered their $10 dark meat Tuesday special & a chicken breast both original recipe. It was the most disgusting fried chicken I have ever had. I don't think they cleaned the chicken before the batter and fried it. There was ground bone stuck to the chicken, it was 1/2 battered and so much fat. It makes me sick to think about it. I've never really had any issues with this location until yesterday. I ordered the nuggets. They were about a third of the size of a McDonald's nugget and I paid more money for them. Heard about this new Cheetos Chicken Sandwich at KFC...We at our company decided to try it, roughly about 50% of us ordered it, the rest prefer the usual with Mashed Potatoes, chicken fingers, chicken in the bowl....Have to say it's good...& messy...extra napkins. Been craving KFC lately and it's been hitting the spot, especially the chicken tenders. Tenders are crispy and taste much better with barbecue sauce. The best freshest tenders I've had from KFC. The food was hot and prepared well. I always can be confident about good chicken. Great place for tenders and affordable place to eat. Coleslaw was also delicious too. Good food, decent service. OK so once again, same thing. Just over one month ago my wife stopped in after work to pick up the 10 piece chicken promotion. She got off work just after 8:00, her work is literally 2 minutes away, and when she asked for 10 pieces in Extra Crispy she was told that all they had were the chicken breasts. Well, I've been in many fast food restaurants and normally have good rating for them. I should have rate this restaurant one star, but I could not. The front door is very hard to open and you have to be careful, because it would hurt you by slamming so hard. The moment you walk into the restaurant and you will immediately have feelings the floor was sticky. The counter was sticky like someone who spilled soda on it and never got wiped. Then the drink station was dirty and really don't know when was it clean last time (see the clip). There's no ice and the shift manager claimed that the ice maker just broke down and service has been placed. The reason I gave two stars because the food was expected, but they ran out of butter. I am wonder why'd you let that happen. Then I sit down and realize the tables and chairs were so sticky. So I have to asked them a box to go. I would not recommend this restaurant to the public. Sometimes you get a taste for KFC. This KFC has a magic drive-through. It is, HANDS DOWN, the FASTEST drive-through window I have ever driven through. It's extremely bizarro. You order at the order board, and--I kid you not-- your food is at the window by the time you drive up. It has never failed and I've been to this KFC (late work nights lately) more than I care to admit, but HOLLA. This KFC plays with the mind. Can someone else give it a try and let me know if you have the same experience. Is it just me or what. Oh and the staff are super professional, and courteous. Went though the drive thru at 12:40pm. Waited at the speaker to place my order with a few cars behind me. Said hello, honked my horn thinking the speaker was broke. On July 4th 2014 Through drive through, I ordered 10 piece original recipe chicken bites with a side and a drink using a coupon for 4.99, around lunch time. Everything was fine after the first two bites (got lucky) than afterwards I realized something TASTED LIKE SOAP or LOTION in my mouth and realized it was the BITES -.- I spite out the rest and tried another just in case.. no doubt it was the bites and I was mad I couldn't go back to complain cause I had already driven several miles away from the place...
