A bit far from my home but I came, since I won a contest. Workers sooo nice. Their IG contest was new to them but after showing my IG, they were cool about the free moster slices, fries and drinks for 2. Thin crust sausage was had. The crust is nice and crunchy and just enough sauce to not make the crust soggy. Could use a bit more sausage, but that's just carnivore me talking. The place was so clean. Not sure what happened since the first time we went here, the food was good..but that was last year. We came back again this weekend and I wish we just went to the Mexican place beside it. The cheese pizza felt like we were eating a cardboard, the bottom crust most especially. Not sure if it was undercooked but it was hard to bite into that thing, even harder to chew. The lemon pepper wings were too salty!! We had 10 pcs and the 4 of us can't even finish it. My son alone can finish 10 pcs normally. We ordered four pizzas-stadium, 16", 14" and 12". The squares were cut extra large, and most of the slices had only one piece of meat. The layer of cheese and sauce was also skimpy. All fours were supposed to be thin crust; they made two hand tossed thickness. I have been a Papa Ray's customer since 2014 (Pulaski location 2014-2020; Des Plaines 2021-present). I just got the worst pineapple, ham, bacon pizza of a lifetime. The "ham" tasted like what I imagine dog food to taste like. It was clearly not cooked all the way. They must have people who don't know what their doing working there. These people make Sarpinos look like pizza experts. Y'all, normally I would feel bad leaving a poor review during covid, but this place messed up so totally and didn't try to fix it that I'm fed up. A few nights back, we ordered a TON of food through uber and it took several hours to hear anything about it. We went to bed and the food still hadn't been delivered or the status updated on uber. The next day when we followed up with the restaurant, we were told by this place that a driver had dropped our food off (at the wrong house) and the people at that house claimed enthusiastically that it was theirs. Supposedly the driver then tried to contact us -- surprise, surprise, no missed anything on my phone or uber app. We also have a Ring camera as proof of no one coming by. We tried getting a redelivery the next day and got the runaround so thoroughly, uber had to step in and give us a $100+ refund. STAY AWAY! read more

First time ordering from here. We ordered a calzone. Wow was it delicious and huge we also ordered the fried mushrooms they are good breaded but not battered like we were expecting. Seeing the food that was being prepared, we will be back to try more menu items! We also ordered the chocolate cake and were given the chocolate brownie to try. They are absolutely delicious and a must try! Just went back to try a pizza, about a week after our first visit. It was very good with I thin and very buttery tasting crust. I normally don't give bad reviews, I try to give the benefit of the doubt, but in this case I can't stay quiet. On May 27th, I ordered the Philly Steak Grinder with fries. When it arrived, the fries were cold and the "sandwich" looked as if someone sat on it. The bread was raw AND burned. There was only 1 slice of "beef". When I called to complain - 11 times, the phone rang and rang. Eventually, it went to music. No one ever answered. I left a review on their website with no response. I guess it wasn't a total loss, my dog took it off the table when my back was turned. But then again, he's used to dog food. read more

I am used to going to the one by my house in Palatine (another great location) and decided to try this one since they opened near my work and my boyfriend's house. Ever since they opened, we started going to this location, most of the time after midnight. They have a kind staff and the food always comes out fast and fresh. We've had their pizza, salads, wings, calzones, appetizers, sandwiches, pastas...so almost everything. One thing though, I was surprised at how LARGE their calzones are! Literally bigger than my face...and they are quite delicious. Everything is honestly so tasty but if you're going here expecting 5 star restaurant quality pizza, this place just isn't it.
