My husband and I have finally decided that we will no longer eat KFC. The chicken has become inedible because of the amount of salt used in the brine soak and in the Original crust on the chicken. It is unbearably salty. Removing the crust does not solve the problem. The chicken meat has been soaked in a brine solution and is also quite salty. The amount of chicken meat on each piece is minimal. The crust makes each piece appear larger than it is. One piece of breast is no longer included in the three piece combo. A breast must be ordered separately. It is also disappointing because the back bones are left attached to the breast. As the quality has declined, the price has increased. I do not recommend ordering KFC. read more

Why would anyone come here when Fred Meyer is right next door with real chicken? I bought a nine-piece bucket and it was a joke--just tiny legs and a few thighs that looked more like Cornish game hens than actual chickens. It was nothing but overcooked skin and bones. Fast service and their current deals I think are really good compared to other deals from places in the neighborhood. For the quality and amount of food you get I think it beats meals that are in the larger scale. I never buy smaller or individual items, always the bigger deals and the food lasts longer, plus the flavors are deadly lol. Never gotten an order wrong either. I've never ate inside the place, always ordered pick up, drive through or delivery, never a problem. The smell of the food is addictive, even my cat goes wild for the food, even their corn haha. One of my favorites and usually treat myself on the weekends and gorge on massive amounts of comfort food. Decided to order on Christmas Eve. I called the store to verify their closing hours because it was Christmas Eve. I ordered 4 buckets of chicken online, and paid for them. Got on a bus - headed for KFC. I had ordered a timed order so I had an hour and a half to get there. I missed the stop, so I called a LYFT to take me back to stops. I also called the store, just to let them know I was coming still as it was getting close to my delivery window, close to their closing time, and I didn't want them to think I wasn't coming, or close early or something. Told the lady I'd be right there. She was nearly chanting they close at 8. No worries. I was there by quarter till, and it was a timed order, so everything should be ready, in and out. The front door was locked so I hopped back in the Lyft and asked him to take me to the Drive-Thru. I was told that they were pretty much out of chicken. They had a few wings and back pieces, but definitely not 4 buckets. WTH? Not much you can do, and you can't yell at people on Christmas Eve. I passed on the spare parts and asked for a refund. The answer was NO!!! He said with a straight face, you can call corporate for your refund tomorrow (on Christmas). I did just call the store for the refund or the number, the same lady answered that I talked to on Christmas Eve, she said she's the manger 'right now' whatever that means. I hung up. The box of popcorn chicken was full of fried batter, which they consider as part of the "appx 70 pieces of popcorn chicken". For $10, this was not a promotion, but rather a rip-off. Not to mention, the chicken was very dry and desperately needed sauce. They were nice enough to give extra sauces of honey mustard, finger lickin' good, and ranch to complement the popcorn chicken. The chicken tasted like it had been cooked earlier in the day and just lay in a heated area waiting to be served. As for the wedges, they were the saving grace because each piece had slight crispy edges and well portioned. The large size was $4.49, which is decent considering the amount of pieces received. Was rushed by Dianne I think her name is while I was ordering & kept over talking me. This location always gets my order wrong or forget something so I sat and checked everything. They gave me plain instead of spicy.while checking the bag Dianne opens the window and says something about the time with attitude. Also tried to make me pay extra for what I already asked for. This KFC needs renovations the only working bathroom has rotted door. The men's bathroom door was broken that my 10 year old son was locked inside. We asked the a lady to get him out but she did not speak much English that she did not understand that my claustrophobic son was trapped in a bathroom. I wanted to write this review to give big props to the staff that works at this KFC location. They always make the food delicious and I have never once got an order wrong from this location. I walked in today to get my pick up order as usual and as I was leaving there was this extremely rude customer who was upset about having to wait a short time for his pick up order, which was completely rude given it was obvious they were short staffed. There was a worker there, I did not get their name but they have beautiful dyed hair, who handled the situation well and I want to give them props for having to deal with customers like that and yet still providing great service. read more

They once gave us cartons of milk which had been expired an entire year and were hard, odorless cheese - when I brought this to the attention of the guy at the counter he just said "oh," and took it in the back. I grew up with KFC when I was a tiny tod lived in Jakarta, Indonesia. They served those scrumptious fried chickens with a side of rice instead of potatoes. I heart KFC when I was a youngster. Now, I'm a grown up who eats plenty of fried chickens in my life and so sad but true...I cheated on KFC tons of times (for fast food category) with Popeye's. KFC is just not the same anymore. So, this location offers the $5 fill up for $5.99. I get it, individual franchises can set their own prices within reason. However, this is like the old bait and switch. Previously, the side of mashed potatoes and gravy was a normal side. Now, they have downsized it to just a small little cup of mashed potatoes and gravy. Look, I know it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but if I had known that was the case I wouldn't have went to KFC to begin with.
