If you have a craving for KFC choose a different location. Probably in a neighboring city. The location has been recently remodeled and newly opened; however this unfortunately hasn't improved management of the location. Previous visit went in the drive thru where I was advised they didn't have chicken. Understood. Took a break from this location, wanted to give them a try after they reopened, did a mobile order where I personally go inside to pick it up, order was placed at 550pm, with pick up at 6:15pm. I didn't actually receive my food until 7:37pm. Upon arrival for the pick up; I was told they are running behind but my order was next on the list. I waited, I noticed customers walking in and placing orders at the counter and receiving their food within a reasonable time (10 to 15 minutes). I also could hear customers come in with mobile orders and they waited longer for their food than any customer who walked in which is understandable too; however I could see more customers coming in after my mobile time and getting their food. Very large orders too! I inquired about my order where I was told they are getting to it, when I was only one of two customers in the entire establishment I made my third visit to the counter and I received my order where the food was placed sideways with a single layer of saran wrap because they ran out of lids, obviously sideways is going to leak out. Then I checked the other items where the Mac and cheese was also leaking out the container but that actually had a lid it was just smashed into the bag. The counter employee promptly repackaged the meal and I placed it in the bags to avoid spilling on the way home. It appears one person was working the food line and another stayed in an office while the rest were working the drive thru window. I can respect being busy, perhaps they could have suggested I cancel my mobile order get a refund and reorder from the counter since those orders are being prepared in a timely fashion or maybe be offered a partial refund for the excessive wait however none of those were offered. One customer who ordered at the counter, received their food, ate and on their way out offered me a pillow and blanket as they can see how long I had been waiting. The food itself seemed fresh however one of my kids said it tastes funny, will update post if anything happens with that; just a fair warning wait times seem to be excessive so I would 100% try a different location or maybe never do a mobile order. Management should look into time management, order processing times and perhaps be present to help facilitate and manage orders in which they were received to ensure efficient customer service. Also, KFC management if you are behind turn off mobile orders or turn away new customers until you are caught up with the customers already there! read more

Just opened the take home order. The order taker did not ask if we wanted sauce for tenders, etc. so we ASKED for some. Got home...no sauce of any kind and no butter or honey for the biscuits. A really dry lunch! Will not go back to this location. read more

Where's the Chicken? Finally went to KFC and ordered the Chicken Pot Pie. The crust was wonderful. Flaky and light, the the rest of the pot pie was a huge disappointment. There has only 3 small pieces of chicken in the entire pie. I couldn't even finish it! For almost $7 it was a major ripoff. Wish I had Yelped them before I went and saw all the poor reviews. Should have gone to either of the 2 burger joints on either side of this establishment and gotten a better meal combo for the same price or less! read more

We were just passing by and the eating options in Surprise, AZ were limited. I have to agree with others here, I will make sure NEVER to frequent this location again. We purcased a kid meal for my son but they failed to tell us that they didn't have any juice boxes, or fruit squeezes, both of which was shown as part of the kids meals. Instead of the juice box, they gave us a small drink (after we already paid). But there were no options outside of soda (which we don't allow our kids to have) so we ended up essentially paying for ice water! As for the fruit squeeze, they gave us an extra mac-n-cheese. Problem is, we didn't select that side. I guess they just figured they'd make our decision for us. I ordered a 3-piece meal that included two sides and a medium drink. Total came out to $9.84! Call me cheap but I think that is a bit pricey for fast food meal. read more

I would've given more stars if anything good had happened on my visit to this KFC. I have to admit, it's been a long time since I've been to any KFC, but I sincerely hope they're not all like this one. My first clue should've been that the place was empty, not even a car in the drive-thru. The menu in the drive-thru doesn't reflect all items offered, so we had to ask several questions then finally placed our order. We were told we'd get the total at the window. We never did. We had to ask what the total was after we paid with our credit card. There's a sign on the window that they have a added fee for credit card purchases, but thankfully we didn't see any extra charge...and we did use a credit card. The chicken was small, mashed potatoes were cold, and the biscuit seemed a little old. So, this was my first and last visit here. read more

OMG - I used to love the KFC biscuits. So I thought I'd try them here after several years of avoiding KFC. Well, my bad - the service was terrible (if I dare call it "service). I was looking forward to a biscuit, some fries and some chicken tenders. The biscuit was dry - it used to be moist. Just some advice, if you're going to give out dry biscuits, at least offer butter. KFC use to just give butter with biscuits (smart customer service move). I wasn't given butter, or offered butter. The fries were "ok", but offer some sort of dipping sauce, like you use to. My biggest complaint is the lazy (borderline non) customer service and the dried out biscuits. I was hesitant, but I thought this KFC deserved a fair shot to show what they have to offer. What they have is: non existent customer service, and dried out food - ugh. I won't be going back. They blew it, and I'll be happy to share my experience to any of my friends that ask. Back to my "safe" harbors at DQ, Arby's, etc... Wow, my bad - I just looked at the reviews that were basically recent - a lot of one stars. After going there and experiencing it for myself, I understand why the multitude of one star ratings. First when I was driving up to the drive through there was an employee throwing up Right by the back door!! I ordered a chicken sandwich minus pickles and I got pickles!! it took them 10 minutes to get my order!! then the chicken was tough and the bun was soggy!! My worst experience ever !!! read more

Used to be not too bad but not anymore! Paid for 12 piece meal got all the way home and discovered only given 8 pieces and no receipt. But the coleslaw tasted butter, the mashed potatoes looked old and the chicken had a funky taste. Also workers not wearing masks or gloves at drive through. Won't be back anytime soon! read more

Actually I would rate this location with a zero!!! I used DoorDash my driver was very informative but, after 45 minutes of my driver waiting for my food to be cooked, they informed her that my order would be another 30 minutes. So, I called your location to ask what the hold up was because if I drove myself there, it would have never taken this long! The female that answered at KFC asked if I was a male or female and how she did not have an order for DoorDash and unless I was Mario... she slammed the phone down and began ranting about me to another employee while I'm listening to her talk smack about my conversation with her! Stopped to do laundry across the stress and walked over to have lunch while waiting. First thing to notice was the pungent smell to smack your face as soon as you open the door. It smelled like a barnyard-no exaggeration. I felt queasy standing there. Should have ran. We waited for awhile and heard every employee in the back laughing and talking but absolutely nobody came forward to help us. I left and went to Burger King instead. I won't return. read more

Cold, tired and grease soaked. When asked for side dishes I asked for fries - they had none so I went to mashed. They had to make some if I could wait. The window guy kept calling me boss. Honestly would give a negative-5 stars if possible by far the worst fast food establishments I have gone to. Me and my family stopped in on Sunday about an hour after the location opened. Only to find the lobby extremely dirty with food crumbs all over the place from what I can only assume was from the day before. Nonetheless I cleaned off a table so we could eat. I was called up to get the food we ordered after inspection of are meals it was clear to see that the lack of cleanliness was the least of there problems. The chicken was either old chicken from they day before or left in the fryer to long it turned black and was extremely dry. I took the meals back up asking for an explanation and I quote " it looks that way because it has to be cooked thoroughly all the way through and it is perfectly fine" I asked for fresh chicken and was told that it would also come out the same. I took my meals and threw them away for the safety of my family and contacted corporate to make an official complaint. I wish I had taken photos of the food and establishment. The lobby was dirty; no it was filthy. All the tables were dirty and sticky. I ordered the 5 spicy wings but got regular ones instead. They were hot and well cooked. My husband's zinger was ok, but too much mayo. The potatoes wedges were over cooked and dried out. The dinner cost $15 and change and it wasn't worth the money! I'm adding another one star review of this KFC for all the good it does. Went there today. Since I had a small order, (only for myself, not one of the mega-orders that often wipes out the racks of chicken for everyone else.) Well, I went inside as my order was one box three piece and I wouldn't need to finance a multi-bucket chicken order. Thought it might be quicker than drive through. What a major mistake; I joined a line of three other customers patiently waiting for a their chance to order. We waited for 16 minutes and 23 seconds before anyone even acknowledged our presence. Meanwhile, bucket after bucket is going out the drive through window. I too own a car, should have done the drive through also. Just, at some point in those 16 minutes you would hope the indoor customers might, just might be given some priority. I had been in line for over 20 minutes now when it was finally my turn to order. Guess what, they were out of chicken and couldn't fill my order. No surprise since anyone driving a car got first dibs on everything and were ordering in quantities that made me think Surprise, AZ was on the verge of a chicken famine. Look, I understand they need to keep the drive through moving but that doesn't mean to ignore the dining room customers. Surely they can manage working both the counter and the window. Disgusting take out. We love our KFC in Cottonwood AZ so we thought this will probably be fine. From ordering to receiving the food was a complete failure. The worst was the food, the chicken was cold and tasted day old. The mashed potatoes and gravy were cold, the biscuit tasted a couple of days old and in the bag there was no eating utensils, no napkins. We had to ask for dipping sauce and butter for the biscuit. If I could give this place a zero I would have, most of my lunch went in the trash. If you are going to be open for takeout because of the Corona virus act like it! This Surprise location SUCKS!. I LOVE KFC BUT whomever owns this franchise location should be sell this place if they don't want to sell chicken nor have a drive thru. Worst drive thru ever!!! The last 2 times I visited this location they didn't have the food ready. I did not order anything out of the ordinary and they were both small orders. This last time it took 30 minutes to get my food!! They told me to wait in the parking lot and I had to go inside and get my food after getting fed up with the wait. They weren't even busy inside. Why must I give a star?!?!?!? This location deserves ZERO stars. I ordered a 10 pc family meal at 10:00p.m. to be told they were out of chicken and would need to wait 20 minutes. Pulled to the window to pay and asked as a courtesy and for the inconvenience may I have an extra side. The "supervisor" Jayme told me they are unable to give anything for free and if I didn't want to wait I can go to another location. Waited out front and decided to call their 24/7 customer service line. As I am discussing the situation to the rep and after 20mins the little bastard Dean came out with my food. I politely asked if I can have dipping sauce as well. He tells me I didn't order chicken fingers therefore dipping sauce will be a charge. I said excuse me. You make me wait 20 mins for my food and can't even give me dipping sauce and he says that's correct. I then let him aware that I was on the phone with their customer service department and he says so. And told me his name and even spelled it out!!! I was appalled. The rep heard the disrespect and was very apologetic. Can't wait for the follow up call to let them know how awful their associates are at this location and how badly they are representing their restaurant. The KFC at 12621 Bell Road in Surprise, Arizona was average. I went into the restaurant to place a to-go order around 2:30pm. There was only one table full inside and only three workers were visible to manage the front-end, drive-thru, and kitchen. Upon entering the restaurant, I was overwhelmed with a dingy smell. The dining area and kitchen both looked pretty dirty, just from looking around at the front counter. Despite the restaurant's cleanliness, the employee who helped us was very sweet and our food was delicious! read more

Customer service is definitely lacking at this location. It seemed like none of the employees wanted to be there. A customer even said on his way out, "don't work too hard" and an employee said "oh don't worry! I won't!" Went here on a busy Friday evening to get a family bucket to go for my family. The place was packed inside and in the drive-through. Other customers ahead of me were yelling and being terrible to the associates working. They seemed to be understaffed that night. Nothing was their fault and they did not deserve to be treated the way they were. They staffed was very polite, and apologetic to the rude customers and everyone else. They worked as hard as they could to get the food out fast. They added extra biscuits and a free drink to my order. I would come back again to this location. read more
