The service is from the 1900's with a waitress who is very attentive, super friendly and Johnny-on-the-spot. Now, the food is fantastic. A great array of very different types of dishes that are served hot, piled high and extremely tasty. Mmm, no wonder A-1 Diner was a favorite of Guy Fieri...

The free street parking right outside the restaurant was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. Just as surprising was the overpriced and just-okay food. I gotta say, both the inside and outside vibe of the place are a bit misaligned with the menu and food quality, and also the prices. We arrived at around noon and the menu unfortunately didn't look any breakfast items as they stopped those at 11am. Instead, our options were burgers, sandwiches, and dinner plates. The menu was quite extensive and creative -- it wasn't your typical diner menu (Asian noodles?!) -- but also, prices were steep for a place like this. A cheeseburger was $16+, with an extra $1 charge for tomato and onion. The sandwiches were more expensive and just included chips -- fries were an up-charge. Honestly, just the prices alone were a turn off. My burger -- I ordered the one with brie and jam on it -- was so underwhelming. Not even an exciting cheese like brie could save it. What a shame because it really did seem like such a cool spot!

My friend ended up getting a turkey Italian sub. It was stuffed full of great Turkey Cheese and many veggies. The pictures on the website of the chicken fingers do not do them justice! Can't wait to go try more items! Gentleman that helped us decide on food was wonderful, and let us know the sandwiches really are ideas from a famous deli. This little place his a hidden gem.

I encountered some tough times and went to go get a meat package, and I found out that the current owner bought Fuller's four years ago, and my gift certificate was from before the sale. So my $150 gift certificate is now worthless when I could use it the most. I spoke with the owner and he said that they do not honor any of the previous gift cards even though they bought the store, clients, reputation, store name, etc. Needless to say, I do not recommend this store, and will never be going back. I also wanted to caution all customers to think twice before you buy a gift certificate there, because if it changes owners again, you will be paying a lot of money for a useless piece of plastic. The store will take all the previous clients, but won't honor it's previous obligations, so that is $150 of my grandmother's money into the garbage can. Buyer beware!

How can I not give Cappzas five stars?! Hello?! A local owned business that has won tons of awards…read more I love the pizza but mom voting for their Whoopie pies above all else. Also another pizza shop with a heck ton of drink options. You'll never go thirsty. The cashiers here were super sweet and helpful and had a great sense of humor! Wonderful place. Very clean dining room, with great photography of their pizza and meals on the walls. I don't have a favorite menu item yet. But the pizza was yummy!

A few years ago we had decided to stop going to Cappza's because we never received a correct order…read more Tonight I decided to give them another chance because they're so close to our apartment. We chose delivery and it sent us to DoorDash, that seemed better because we never have issues with deliveries from DoorDash. We placed the order at 6:33pm and the estimated time to deliver was 7:02. We never received any updates from DoorDash so I called the store the first time at 7:09. The person who answered stated that they couldn't update DoorDash but the pizza was already out for delivery and it'd be here soon. I called the second time at 7:34 asking for an update and the person said that it was still out for delivery and would be right to us. I called again at 8:17 and asked for an update. They stated the delivered the pizza and followed our directions 'to a tee'. Thankfully I have a ring doorbell and checked it. There was no delivery to our door. They said it was delivered but didn't take a picture and mentioned that they don't use DoorDash drivers they use their own. I went to the surrounding doors but no delivery. I have officially learned my lesson. Hopefully I get my money back. Past issues: Ordering extra black olives, they charged me $9 for them and when the cashier opened it to look they said 'That doesn't look like extra olives?' It wasn't. Ordered a pizza, no cheese delivery, because I don't like cheese. I made sure he said no cheese. It got to my apartment with extra cheese. My friend and I went there, her choice, to get garlic bread. I asked for the kind with no cheese and extra garlic butter. I got the driest bread. The next delivery I decided to get a salad, everyone else had pizza. I ordered a large and got a small. That time I had to drive and get my replacement. The driver then said they'd get in trouble for not checking the receipt before leaving the store. I didn't want them to get into trouble. I promise you I've 100% learned my lesson.
