I have been a loyal Popeyes customer for over 40 years, which makes writing this review especially…read moredisappointing. We specifically ordered non-spicy chicken, yet we received a mixed order. My youngest took one bite and was shocked because his piece was spicy. My husband, who regularly eats very spicy foods like General Tso's chicken, actually had to peel the skin off his chicken because it was so hot. That's simply unacceptable when a customer orders non-spicy. The "Cajun Rice" was another huge letdown. I don't know what happened to the recipe, but this is not Cajun Rice as longtime Popeyes customers remember it. It lacked the flavor that made it a favorite for decades. The chicken itself was just as disappointing. The skin wasn't crispy--it was hard. Several pieces looked like they had been fried twice. The coating was dry, overly dark, and unpleasant to eat. The one bright spot was a young woman working there who was incredibly polite, friendly, and courteous. She provided excellent customer service, and I don't blame the employees. They appear to be doing the best they can with what they're given. The responsibility falls on management. They need to step up and bring this restaurant back to the standards the Popeyes name is supposed to represent. As someone who has enjoyed Popeyes for over four decades, this location should be embarrassed by the quality of food they are serving. We drove nearly two hours for medical appointments and thought stopping here would be a nice change. Instead, it was one of the most disappointing fast-food meals we've had in a long time. Sadly, after this experience, I don't expect we'll be making the trip back.

My wife and I ordered our meals to eat in the restaurant at 5:59pm. There was one other gentleman…read morewho had ordered before us. At 6:35 I asked the employee behind the counter to check on my order. He didand came back to say that it wasn't even started. I asked for my money back. The manager came out and refunded my money. There was no apology or remorse. Just handed me the money and returned to the kitchen. On top of that, the toilets in both bathrooms were clogged and running on the floor. Staff was notified and they said "Yeah, we know ".

This is a relatively new food truck, perhaps in the past year or two. I had heard some good…read morefeedback about the food. Stopped there today while traveling north on route 201. They are a cash only operation but they do have a small ATM built-in into the trailer. It's a gravel parking lot with picnic tables. There is a porta potty on site as well. They serve a variety of fried food and seafood. Along with several sandwich options. They have a sign on the trailer that explains it's not fast food. We were the fourth order in queue and it took about 20 minutes to get our order. That was reasonable, in my opinion. Our food was tasty and hot!! They don't season their French fries but you can use their salt, pepper & seasoning shakers at the window. There is no covered seating so if it's raining, one would likely stay in their vehicle to eat. There was a steady stream of customers placing orders We can't wait to go back!!!

Stopped here for lunch and it was wonderful! The owner was lovely and seemed really happy with what…read moreshe was doing. We got a chocolate shake which was not too thick and very chocolaty. Best part was she had gluten free bread and non dairy ice cream. Got the crab roll on gluten free bread was really good lots of crabmeat any only $15. We also got a ham Italian which was really good size with fresh pickles. The small French fries were a generous portion. At the suggestion of the owner we ordered the homemade pickle buttons which were the best! lightly battered with a delicious "secret sauce " Lots of choices on the menu for such a small place. Definitely want to return for some ice cream and pie or crumble. Really enjoyed chatting with the owner Lots of picnic tables and a huge bonfire pit
