Within a week the full system was scheduled for install. The young men who installed the system were very respectful of the property very respectful of my father since his house is immaculate. During installation, they ran into several challenges with placement of the new unit and some wiring that needed more attention. They worked through and around them to make everything work out in the end. I really appreciate their flexibility and expertise to navigate all the roadblocks without changing the scope of work. He responded that he doesn't buy the parts himself. So I paid $25 for parts and $435 for 15 minutes of work. Yes, I wish I had gone with another company.

On the first visit, the technician, Mohammed, didn't even inspect the system. He simply told us that older units are noisy and that our only options were to live with it or replace the entire system. Because the problem continued, our home warranty company scheduled a second visit. I specifically requested a different technician, but they sent the same person back. I tried calling their supervisor to come out or send someone else but they kept dodging my call. When I answered the door and explained the issue was still happening, he just shrugged his shoulders. I had to insist that he actually go into the attic and inspect the unit this time. After a short time, he came back down and said he had "tried everything" but never explained what he checked or what the actual problem was. Again, I was told the only options were to replace the system or live with the noise. I also never received any written work order explaining the diagnosis or repairs that were supposedly attempted. Not feeling confident, I hired another HVAC company for a second opinion. Within minutes, they diagnosed the real problem as a failing blower motor, explained everything clearly, and gave me the option to replace the motor instead of the entire HVAC system. The repair was completed that same week, and the vibration was completely resolved. I understand a 21-year-old system won't last forever, but every homeowner deserves a thorough inspection, a clear explanation of the issue, and repair options when they're available. Unfortunately, that wasn't the experience I had with Same Day Air.

He checked all operations of the furnace and general maintenance; the components; amp draws and electrical. Jesus was very thorough and did several tests on the heater; replaced the filter and checked the thermostat. He was so professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything to me. I was completely confident with the job he did. B A Morrison did the original installation of the heating system in 2006, and also installed a new thermostat in 2022. This company has always done an excellent job with great staff. They stand by their work and are very responsive to questions. Great Company.
