I will start off by saying I am not the biggest BBQ lover but my husband does love it. We both…read moreordered the half rack of ribs with sides. We could have easily shared this. The portions for the meats were very big. My husband got ranch beans and sweet potato fries for his sides. While the sides were small for both of us, the sweet potato fries were for a family of 4... HUGE portion. He got at least 2 meals out of it. My sides were the Mac and Cheese which was very cheesy and delicious as well as the tomato cucumber salad. I love a good cucumber salad. Like I said before, those sides were very small. I wish I could have just had a plate of sides. The pickles they give you were also very delicious. I also don't like cornbread which came with our orders and theirs was actually sweet and moist. But like I said, as a person who really does not care for BBQ, a plate of sides would be amazing. We also got the 'Jalapeno Honey' wings which were a good size, but I didn't taste much jalapeno or honey for that matter. They were just kind of mild. My husband loved his meal but he does prefer Big Ed's BBQ in Matawan. Our whole meal was $80 which is quite a lot for no waiter service, just counter. The food was very quick and the service in general was okay. We probably would not be back, but it is worth it to check it out. They had a steady flow of customers throughout the time we were eating there.

The food is always amazing, and today was no exception. Just spectacular. Staff is over accommodating and friendly. Sides were excellent (Mac&Cheese and Bacon Potato Salad). Corn bread is delicious. We got a good size table for the six of us to spread out. It's only a 10 minute drive from work. Need to get over there more often. Highly, highly recommend!!!

Came here on Thanksgiving and the place was relatively empty, but there were a few other occupied…read moretables - I'd say maybe 20% of the restaurant was full while we were eating. Staff were super attentive and accommodating - we appreciate the great service on a holiday! Ambiance felt modern and more futuristic - black, sleek counters and tables with K-Pop playing on all the TVs. Food was easy to order with the iPad and came out within a reasonable amount of time post ordering. Food selection was solid - we ended up just getting the hotpot option so we shared all the dishes that came out and put them in our individual pots. Flavors were solid and quality was fine. It was a typical AYCE experience so we left full, but we had a good time. Thanks, KPOT!

I went for the first time to the Overland plaza restaurant and I've been thinking about it ever…read moresince! I love Ramen so of course I had to try ramen noodles in the Szechuan Spicy hot pot with garlic cloves. We used the grill to cook our onions, peppers and more garlic cloves with garlic shrimp, beef bulgogi, short ribs, steak and I tried the beef tongue. I couldn't remember how my grandmother made it but putting it directly on the grill wasn't it... lol! I will try again after looking up a few recipes! The staff there is awesome and very helpful. I went with a friend who K-Pots frequently so she was mainly fixing ours and showing me the ropes and adding my choices on request; basically showing me what and how to prepare. We chose the dinner option during lunch hours to get premium meats. Our server was always coming to make sure we were ok and I wish I could remember her name now. So sorry! I have to say I enjoyed the entire experience; ambience of the lighting, music, table setup, staff, and there was an anime event they were preparing for! It is definitely an experience to be had and I will be going back real soon!

I planned a small dinner at Ria Mar for my wife's 40th birthday and would recommend it for anyone…read more We had 20+ people so were able to have a small room in the banquet hall with a preset menu. From calling around, I felt Ria Mar was giving the most selection and value for the per person $$. The amount of food we got reassured me we got our moneys worth. So many delicious appetizers, and the meals were also very good. My only complaint, though a very small one, was the overall "pace" of the evening. Our server was working hard to keep things moving but ultimately the rooms location and I assume the need for additional help kind of slowed things down a bit. It wasn't anything that would keep me from hosting another event there. I'd still highly recommend it.

However, my utensils were dirty when I sat down. the waiter apologized right away, but it made me wonder about the rest. The bread and salad were complimentary and both were really good. We started with a pitcher of red sangria, which everyone enjoyed. For entrées, we ordered the bacon-wrapped chicken (the sauce was tasty, but the chicken itself was dry), the braised short ribs (very good), and the seafood rice, which was delicious. The shrimp avo was just okay. Overall, I'd recommend the place for the friendly service and good food; just make sure your utensils are clean before you start eating.

As a Brooklyn guy from Bensonhurst who actually takes food seriously, and someone who runs a food…read morereview page called Brooklyn vs The World, I can tell you when a place is just hype and when it's the real thing. Los Bandoleros is the real thing. The second we walked in, you could feel it. Spotless place, beautiful decor, authentic energy, and a vibe that instantly felt welcoming instead of forced. Michelle was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, sharp, attentive, and just genuinely great at what she does. The whole staff made us feel comfortable, and then owner Dave came over personally to welcome us, which tells you a lot about the pride behind this place. Now the food. The fish tacos were outstanding. Crispy fresh fish, light, flavorful, with fresh slaw and pico that gave every bite the perfect balance. Nothing greasy, nothing heavy, just done right. The brisket quesadilla was loaded. Smoky tender brisket, perfectly melted cheese, crispy tortilla, pure comfort food. But the brisket sourdough sandwich stole the show. Thick juicy brisket stacked high on perfectly toasted sourdough with that buttery crunch. The kind of sandwich where everybody stops talking after the first bite. Even the rice was seasoned right and tasted homemade, which says a lot because most places ignore the details. And the churros with ice cream were the perfect finish. Hot, crispy, fresh, and exactly what dessert should be. What impressed me most was how fast everything came out while still tasting fresh and made with care. As someone who checks out food spots for my page, Brooklyn vs The World, I've seen plenty of places that look good online and disappoint in person. This wasn't one of them. This place gets it right. Food, service, hospitality, atmosphere. Easy 5 stars. We'll absolutely be back.
