She was attentive, kind, and made the experience so nice (we were celebrating my brother's surprise visit, and my dad's birthday). Plenty of parking in the public parking lot. We got option B which was $39/per person and included sides and a "salad" bar. The salad bar has more sides- not much of a salad bar. The meats were pretty good but most of them are marinated, and they didn't have unmarinated galbi (our favorite) but we enjoyed the butcher's cut, khan steak, galbi, and beef brisket. For sides, we liked the assorted vegetables, steamed egg, and corn cheese! The soybean soup was slightly salty. What a visit! I love how large and open this space in as the smoke smell didn't really generate into my clothing. Waiter pays great attention, especially with changing the grill and even cooking the meat as requested. I think my favorite were the amount of sides and sauces - that green one?! Yum!!! I went with the Korean ramen, it definitely has a kick (not as spicy as the other option), but it was so flavorful and delicious that even with my mouth burning, I couldn't stop eating it. This is so far the best Korean barbecue we've been to since moving here. It is wayyyy better than firepan including the wait staff. They have great sides and the service was amazing. We came as a family of 6 and we were seated right away, the waiter was prompt with drinks and replenishing our sides. The vegetable dumplings are so darn good. Soy pork bulgogi was our favorite. What a wild ride. So it was great service until apparently some kitchen issues started and more tables came in. But from first glance it's a relatively new spot. Nice decor for kbbq and spacious dining area. The service was incredible when we sat down around 6pm on a Tuesday. But as things picked up we got less attention which is cool. Even toned down it was stellar service compared to other kbbq places I've been to where they basically make sure you're breathing and ordering before kicking you out. Food was good. Banchan at about a 7.5-8/10. Corn cheese, egg, and soybean soup came out after the first meat. We ordered the second tier pre fixe? Menu. At first we were told that the meats were prime cuts. But then when it was brought out was told the first few were from the regular ayce menu. Okay... Rest of the experience was okay. But I noticed on the menu it said there was a military discount. So we let the waiter know when I gave him my card. He said he'd apply the discount but didn't. I'm not confrontational so I didn't say anything which I know is on me. You can also cook it yourself if you prefer, but it was nice to be able to spend time with friends & focus on conversation instead of the meat. We went for the AYCE and got the galbi, khan steak and bulgogi with popcorn chicken, cheesy corn, fries and rice. The banchan was decent and my favorite were the pickled sweet radishes. We loved the galbi - its a must get when here and liked the khan steak as well. By the time it came to the bulgogi we were so full that it did not leave us impressed like the first two. The bucket of fries were aplenty and a generous portion and the popcorn chicken was delicious. They also have fun mocktails but people who dont drink which is a plus. Sooo came straight here from Firepan Korean BBQ due to a bad experience. What a difference!!!!!! We walked in and were immediately greeted with a welcoming smile from the restaurant manager (Justin Park)!!! Informed him of our party and made us aware of the short wait to get our table ready which took only about a minute if not less... We were then seated and our server, Yamah, took very good care of us! Throughout our dining experience we've been checked on frequently by both our server and restaurant manager even before informing them of our horrible experience at Firepan. 10/4/24. VERIFIED LEGIT!!!! We Korean BBQ. Despite having the grand opening on 10/1, the service was very good. They had a system going and it worked. Everything tasted great! I can see why it's also described as Hawaiian because some of the marinated meats are very familiar to what you'd get in Hawaii. Inside is super spacious with high ceiling with a warehouse BBQ industrial look. I like that cut squid into the leg because some places serve it like whole baby squid and that give me the ick. i also like that the galbi wasn't overly marinated because I am not a fan of overly sweet meat The steam egg and corn cheese were yummy. Our server's name was Marcos and he really took good care of us the whole time. We were obviously there for the all you can eat for $36 a person. Real solid selection of meats. Our favorites were the galbi, brisket, and the hanger steak. Marcos was really attentive when it came to bringing whatever we needed and cooking our meat. This isn't really a big deal to most, but the rice was cooked well which certain places have trouble with. Solid experience and I would definitely be coming back.
