All dishes were presented in those styrofoam lunch containers, so the amount of food given was huge. Twice cooked pork ($16), Shrimp Chow Fun ($18), Mongolian Beef ($18). Only gave us one rice, though (should have been two). It took about 70 minutes to get back to our hotel near Eureka, so intentionally chose dishes that would travel well (i.e. no deep fried dishes). We made it just in time for Game 4 of the NBA Finals (Spurs blew the biggest lead in a NBA finals game). CREDIT CARD FRAUD ALERT! If you have eaten here recently and paid by credit card, PLEASE double check your CREDIT CARD statement. My wife and I vacation in Gold Beach a lot and on the way home from Gold Beach on Sunday, March 17th, 2019, we stopped at Khun Thai for lunch. We had a small lunch and the bill was around $25. I paid with my AMEX card. On the 26th I was checking my AMEX statement and this is what I saw. Khun Thai charged my card on March 18th (the day AFTER we were there) for TEN separate charges. All different amounts ranging from $20 to $48. Khun Thai charged my card FOR A TOTAL OF OVER $400! I called my bank (USAA) and they said it was a clear case of fraud! I called the restaurant and the owner just got angry and refused to get on the phone. No one would even look up the charges! They just said "Bring in your receipt". I live in Ashland, Oregon, so I told them I'm not bringing in my receipt but I have filed a complaint for fraud, reversed the fraudulent charges and Khun Thai will be investigated for credit card fraud. Six of us came in for dinner around 530 pm, about 10 minutes later, not one of the three waitresses come ask us to take drink orders or food order. We waived to a young waitress looked to be teenager with blonde hair to take our order and she replied "I didn't come over sooner because I was cleaning up big mess with water"., we placed our order with her (more customers were coming in after we placed our order). About 25-30 minutes later everyone else's food (other customers who came in after we put in our order) were being served. We got up and told the waitress that we are leaving because it looks like she didn't put in our order on purpose. It's a shame because we came there often. read more
