I explained that I had recently moved to the area and that my ID was still from out of state, but she made me feel as if I were lying or trying to cheat the system. What hurt the most was seeing another person come in right after me with the exact same pass--yet they weren't asked to show any ID or questioned at all. As a Hispanic parent, I couldn't help but feel that I was being singled out and treated differently because of how I look. This wasn't just rude--it felt discriminatory. I came to enjoy time with my child and instead left feeling embarrassed, judged, and completely unwelcome. A place meant for children and families should be inclusive and respectful to everyone, and that was absolutely not my experience here.

The staff here are consistently kind, patient, engaged, and wonderful with kids. You can tell that culture starts at the top. I especially have to recognize MJ, who has become someone very special to our family. Our first experience with him was on the ropes course with my daughter. She needed some extra encouragement and patience, and MJ gave her both without hesitation. Despite having plenty of other responsibilities, he took the time to make her feel comfortable, capable, and proud of herself. He never rushed her or made her feel like she was holding anyone up. He simply met her where she was and helped turn something that could have been intimidating into an experience she felt incredibly proud of. That interaction may have seemed like a small moment in the course of a workday, but it was not small to our family. We still talk about it months later. My daughter formed such a special bond with MJ that she looks forward to seeing him whenever we visit, and the rest of our family does too. When it came time for her birthday, we specifically requested MJ as her party host. Once again, he went above and beyond and made her party feel absolutely magical. He remembered her, made her feel special, and gave her the kind of experience a parent hopes their child will remember for years. At first, I wondered if we had simply been lucky enough to encounter one exceptional employee. But the more frequently we have visited and the more staff we have interacted with, the more obvious it has become that this is a culture. MJ will always hold a particularly special place in our hearts because of the extraordinary kindness he has shown our daughter, but there is clearly something very intentional about the team Jeff has built. We visit often, sometimes for a birthday or activity and sometimes simply because our kids ask to go. The facility is always clean and well maintained, there is plenty for the whole family to enjoy, and we consistently leave having had a great experience. There are a lot of businesses that can provide entertainment for kids. What makes this place different is how people are treated while they are there. Jeff and his team have created a place where family fun and genuine kindness seem to matter equally. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
